I feel like this may have been a ploy to get me to read your comic strip.

So in critique of the comic strip, the art was good, but the joke too specific, and too wordy.

Hope that helps.

As for the main presented question...
I've found I'm a fan of Michael Ian Blacks take on homosexuality. Paraphrased: Being gay shouldn't make you less of a man but more of a man. You're so much of a man that a woman isn't enough, you need another man. To this I add the only thing manly than being gay would be F'ing wild grizzly bears.
why did you quote me?
Forgot to add the "I agree blah blah" part. My bad.

I usually just sign off with a quote out of DOW when people are obviously trolling or are just stupid rude. "The narrow mind, leaves no room for self doubt."

If someone calls me gay like that, I take on a stereotypical gay accent and say weird things until they go away. Works pretty well.

There are two possibilities.
1. I'm not gay, and the guy who called me gay is a liar. Whoopee.
2. I am gay, and he's telling me something I already know. Whoopee.

I've never been called Gay as an insult, but if somone did, I would respond as such: "You're calling me Gay, yet you don't even know anything about me. Next time, come up with a better insult."

If its when I'm on a night out I grind up against them, or give them a hug ^^

If its in a game, depends wether its over voice or in text. If its in text I mostly ignore it, if its on a voice chatting thing, I get my Russel Brand on =P

I can't think of anyone actually calling me gay either in real life or over the internet. It wouldn't really bother me, though.

As a funny aside, me and a friend constantly joke about being gay together. We never take it too far, but we do make the occasional joke.

"You gay?"
"Only for you."
"Oh, baby, don't tease me."
"That's for tonight."

All done in good humor.

It really doesn't matter if someone calls you 'gay' or '******' in an argument. That term has somehow wormed its way into the language of even very intelligent people. Now, if someone uses 'ur a ******!' as their sole argument . . .

I usually just laugh directly at them. If they ask what's so funny, I ask "Is that really the best you can come up with?" and continue laughing.

I think it works because it's not the response they'd expect, they don't know if you're laughing at what they said or him, and they don't know why either would be funny because they're serious. If they ask why I'm laughing they get humiliated because I think their effort was really just not even worth offense, and kind of silly as well.

I comment on you tube a lot (glutton for punishment I guess) but if anyone ever called me gay or a ****** I'd recite my version of Winston Churchill's "drunk" quote

asshole: you're gay!
me: I might be gay sir but you're ugly, and I can at least hide my gayness...
Doesn't have the same flow as old church's original, but anyway...

OP, you got called gay, get over it. I don't see it as a big issue, its just a generic insult. Its not some slander against homosexuals, I feel the words have almost become divorced from their meaning entirely. If you're really concerned about gay rights, go campaigning about gay marriage etc.

Stop being a ******...(Converly, I'll definately be up for that fuck anytime you are ;)
