It's normally "Are you even old enough to be playing this game you little putz?" due to the fact that I only ever get called gay on X-Box Live.

If he said gay then you should have replied with "yes I am happy with my opinion."

If he said ****** then I don't know. Maybe you could have just said "yes and would you like to join the club?"

You may as well just throw the immaturity back in their face and say, 'yes, but that's not what your girlfriend had to say on the topic, and compared to you, she's an expert on my sexuality'.

Just sayin'....

I tend to go 'not half as gay as you are, gaylord'.

Honestly, at my school it was used all the time, despite none of us having a clue what it really meant, and really being too young to understand even if it was explained to us with diagrams. If you got throught a school day without being called gay, bender, poof, fairy, gaylord, and bum bandit...twice, then you obviously went home early.

All 'gay' meant was you'd got something wrong, or wouldn't share your crisps, or you'd let a goal in at lunch break, and I genuinely don't believe any of the kids at my school grew up to be homophobic because of it.

I absolutely don't care who people want to fuck, so long as the target wants it. This applies to everyone btw, newspapers and magazines take note.

I should say I only use 'gay' in the context of this thread with people I've known since school however, the same way I'd call them a joey or a spaz, it's just school memories and between them and me, it's hurting no-one.

Of course, if you don't agree with me, that's fine, just means you're a bummer.

Pro Tip: In the future, GET TO THE POINT. No one cares about your history with the Sonic franchise, and it's completely irrelevant to the subject of this topic. We don't need this much background information, ESPECIALLY since this topic is about one of the most trivial and common events on the entire internet.

And I make a gay joke, pretty much what you did.

Look you ignorant buffoon, just because I've fooled around with other men does NOT mean I'm queer! I'm just...adventurous....

If they think it's an insult? Then I'll mess with them saying "And you should know" or "are you asking me out man? NO. No I will not."

I found your response rather humorous, but I find my attitude towards this topic a bit apathetic. I attribute that to the mass amount of times I have been called a homosexual, a closet homosexual, and a flaming homosexual. It will never end, and I don't see any kind of conclusion to this type of behavior any time soon.

"Are you hitting on me? I'm creeped out now."

Or, if they fail at spelling, I deliberately misunderstand everything they say until they leave.

If people call me a "fag", however, I just say "No thanks, I'm asthmatic." And if they don't shorten their slang and call me a "******", I typically say "My mother did not give birth to a bundle of sticks."

Mine would be:
'At least I have genitals you F****** freak'
or
'You are what is holding back the rest of the human race, your very existence stagnates it.'
