the ending of the Witchblade anime
it made me really sad in light of the REST of the show's personal drama
Don't worry, you don't have to sacrifice a man card...because even I, an outright cynical bastard, ended up shedding some tears at that ending due to the fact i grew up with Toy Story.Legomaniac91 said:The ending to Toy Story 3. I may have to sacrifice one of my man cards, but its worth it to make my point. I remember the first Toy Story as being one of my earliest movies and it always had a special place in my heart. It was weird seeing the third one because I was around Andy's age and had just started college, so the ending hit close to home. In a way, I hope there won't be any more Toy Story movies (aside from maybe one or two more shorts). Sometimes "happily ever after" is all there is left to say.
Sorry I was more referencing to the "that one death scene in Deus Ex: Human Revolution (if you've played it, you'll know what I mean)" but when it comes to the ending I felt the satisfied afterglow that i get from a good universe and it's story ending (see: comment on portal 2) rather than tears of joy.SirBryghtside said:Which ending do you mean there? Because I picked the 'augments are awesome' cutscene, and those were tears of joy - it just seemed to work so well. No idea why most people hated it.Bealzibob said:Also these. Infact I have a feeling that if I go through this whole thread I will eventually be ninja'd on everything. Damn escapist community being likemindly susceptable to tear-jerkers.SirBryghtside said:the ending to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, that one death scene in Deus Ex: Human Revolution (if you've played it, you'll know what I mean), the drowning scene in Cave Story.
Which death scene? I'm guessing you meanBealzibob said:Sorry I was more referencing to the "that one death scene in Deus Ex: Human Revolution (if you've played it, you'll know what I mean)" but when it comes to the ending I felt the satisfied afterglow that i get from a good universe and it's story ending (see: comment on portal 2) rather than tears of joy.SirBryghtside said:Which ending do you mean there? PS: I think I also picked the augments are good.
Dammit that end scene, I was aged perfectly with all those movie also. I loved the toy stories and saw everyone in theater till 3, then for some reason I rented it and god I was nearly balling, but had company with me so I needed to keep a strait face.Legomaniac91 said:The ending to Toy Story 3.
