Sonata Arctica - White Pearl, Black Ocean

Great song about the old tale: Lonely lighthouse watcher leaves his lighthouse and goes to the village below, falls in love with a woman. However that woman has a husband he didnt know about and the husband finds out that his wife is dancing with the lighthouse keeper. He hits him knockout, and the women flees from the island. However the lighthouse worker didnt light the tower because he was knockout, and the boat sinks. He must confront the court, and it all is too much for him, and he jumps from his lighthouse.

Beautiful aye? (Look up the lyrics, they tell it better :p)

Here we go.

I don't know what that Japanese girl is singing, but it's beautiful.

Classic.

Let's just say everything FFX.
This absolutely astounding.

Say what you want about Halo, but the second game had a awesome theme.

Every Final Fantasy song really. Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age's music are brilliant too.

lol I just found another one!
Holy cock this is awesome, especially when your speakers are way up loud.

*Note, to experience nerd-gasm, turn speakers up to full volume.

An excellent soundtrack to an excellent film.
That's because Hans Zimmer wrote it, he's a genius.
Yeah, Hans Zimmer is awesome. Hell, I even went out and bought the physical CD to this soundtrack. I haven't done that in years. It's even got a couple of paragraphs in it from Christopher Nolan saying how awesome Hans is.

Lilium from Elfen Lied

Main one

Saint singing

Fancy as F*** combination
You missed the music box version

Might not be that impressive sounding, but, given the context, it's quite a beautiful song.

Also, Snow Rain sung by the Seiyu of my avatar

That song in my opinion is the band's most emotional song. Like most of the songs in Demon Days, it has genuine meaning.

Oh yes, anything by Coldplay.

Well, let's see. I had a few in mind, and dammit I forgot all but two. And some Touhou remixes, but aside from that.

There's Further, as played during the ending of Iji. Amazing there, less so on its own. Won't link it for this reason.

Link since I forgot how to embed videos. AGAIN.

Has anyone even played either of these games?

The Johny cash cover of "hurt" by NIN. Not much of a Cash fan, but that song is simple, and stunning.

I've forgotten how to embed though...

Also "Comfortably Numb" and "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd are great. Also "All I know" by Karnivool, on a more modern note.

So ive been listening to music all day and I got to thinking, most music sounds good, but throughout my life Ive had moments where I heard a song and for some reason or another, be it lyrics or just the melody itself, the song could either almost reduce you to tears, or inspire you more than you ever thought possible.

The song Im hooked to today is this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4XskfT6vNY&feature=channel its fairly popular, and Ive had this experience with most modest mouse songs XD.

Anyways, I love it when I have this experience, so i wanted to see if anyone has an experience or a song that they feel the same way about, maybe I can find some new ones for my list through the escapist community :).
Here is something beautiful for you. I hope you like it. It's something I find very, very beautiful.
