I agree fully. I just got a Xbox 360 to break my cycle of PC only gaming. It was used and the total tally is coming up to over $500. I wish I had just got a PS3. My high-end gaming PC cost $550 (used) and I got $350 from selling my old computer. So in short, Xbox 360 is not a good idea if you want cheaper and less fucking around with endless add-ons and the Xbox anal-rape experience, which makes me tear my hair out in a rage. Whoever said PC's are complicated and require lots of upgrading while 360's have none of that obviously had their head up their ass. Why didn't I get a PS3!?! :'(

Also, now I have to miss Killzone 2 for Halo 3, which was about 3 hours long on Normal difficulty, with a buddy.

Omni, don't waste your breath. Every fanboy clings to the backwards notion that crappy graphics, over-simplified gameplay and constantly re-hashed storylines make the best games.

Don't use blanket statements, because you are applying that to all 360 games.

Bioshock, Fallout 3, HL2, Portal, and about 500 other games.

I consider this advertising. M$ throws it's weight around in the press constantly. Personally, I'm glad Sony are finally stepping to the plate. People should know the details.

I don't understand why they're bringing the Wii into it. Maybe just to show they're not picking on Microsoft (who of course they're targeting).

You know who else made a chart and statements just like this? SNK. For their Neo Geo system comparing it to 'inferior' 16-bit systems. Not long before it tanked.

There is no comparision between the NEO GEO and the PS3.

I have never met or spoken to anyone who owns a NeoGeo (you, maybe my first?) but I know loads of people with a PS3.

I own BOTH of the consoles attacked by sony here, and i love them both, Also im a student, i cant afford an HDTV, or Blu-Ray movies, i can barely afford games for my Wii and 360, so why should i pay extra money for th blu-ray drive? Until recently i was a PC gamer, therefor had no bias either one based on ownership, my 360 being a present. it came in at around 350 dollars (current exchange rate, im a U.K resident) and came with a HD cable, and 3 games! so i was able to take it right outa the box and start playing right away, also im on an ethernet network, and really cant be bothered with the (marginally) reduced speed of a wireless network

True, $600 isn't nothing. And i try to forget it. I really do. It just annoys me how Sony kinda back stabbed their fans. Like with Nintendo Fans, The PS3 doesn't have what it used to have more than shooters; RPGS. JRPG to be more specific. While it does have a few, some were ports of the 360 version. Now they focus mostly on shooters. Trying to compete with Microsoft when it comes to shooters. This Generation of gaming isn't turning out to be a good one. So far, it seems that Microsoft is the only one doing it right. That's my opinion on it at least.

I play the Wii, I don't play the 360, and I sure as hell do not plan on ever buying a PS3. Not only do you not have a single title that interests me in the slightest bit. You cost more than the other two systems! I don't have an HDTV, so BluRay looks exactly the same as DVD to me. My TV isn't High def, so it doesn't matter what I hook up to it, that won't be high def either.

All this shit you are trying to tell me makes you the better value is all shit I DON'T WANT.

My N64, has finally died, after ten years. I wouldn't pay $50 a year, for ten years, for XBL. I have to side with the PS3. If I hadn't already quit console gaming, I'd definitely get one. $100 for Wi-fi is ridiculous. You pay for the PS3 now, but you'll never lose out for not having that feature. PS3 also has wireless controllers as standard, something I MUCH prefer over wired.

Final point is SO flawed... Every one of the current gen consoles have wireless controllers... Also well i loved the N64, and think it was an amazinf console with great games, IT OLD! it shouldnt be included in an arguement about online gaming because it had none. Nada, Ziltch, also even right now if u buy a wireless adaptor for my new 360, (was a gift, i aint a fanboy) it will Still be cheaper overall then the ps3 and i got three games with the 360

Thsi year will be good in the English market for JRPG's on the PS3, WKC and FFXIII (Versus if it gets out) at the minimum.

We got VC this year, and I still say Folklore is a great RPG game, We got Disgaea.

I honestly just didn't find that video funny, now replace the Xbox in thaty pic with a PS3 and I would still laugh.

We get GoW 3 this year, inFamous, were looking at some nice titles.

You know what I wanna do, any time someone says the PS3/Wii doesn't ave any great games, I wanna make song out of the great games on it, exclusive or not.

Resistance 1 & 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Unchartedrake's Fortune, Ninja Gaiden Sigma(port yes I know),Warhawk, BUZZ Quiz TV. That's a lot of good games for the PS3.

Disgaea and Folklore I have never tried so I can't say it's awesome. LittleBIGPlanet was a big disappointment (to me) and I love platformers more than anything(That and my friend had told me that if I compare to Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario 64, then I'd love it. Big mistake lol). Infamous is a game I can't wait to try.
