Star Craft II- Is there anyone who will not be getting this game?

Despite only ever winning one skirmish game in the first Starcraft (Zergling rush),even after finishing the campaigns. I've preordered the Collector's Edition, hopefully I'll get better at the RTS genre then.

Very tempted to at least try, though I've never played the original.

Fan of Blizzard, though I'm 3 months into my non-WoW life* and kinda missing an MMO or similar. I confess I don't really know a lot about it, kinda looks like C&C that I'll have my ass handed to me on by Korean superhumans over, and over, and over... depends how the offline storyline is, if there is one.

(As you can tell, I know very little about it, but it looks shiny and fun)

* Just got to the point where there wasn't much left to do, guild disharmony, etc. Easier to walk away completely with fond memories than start to slowly get agitated with people I'd otherwise consider friends.

Starcraft is a well made game,but I just don't like its style.Much like Warcraft 3,every unit is precious and must be micro-ed and cared for lovingly.I heard some SC2 game commentators getting all giddy over one player destroying an other player's 6 units,saying it could be the game breaking moment.

This is war damnit,6 units are nothing to me.Hell,6 is the minimal expected unit loss for air recon missions in Supreme Commander.
Yes,I prefer grand strategy RTSs.I'm more of an armchair general than a field commander it seems.

Wow, I only just noticed the other day that they have a release date. With Blizzard I tend to check in every once and a awhile as they take the time to polish their games.

I am so excited! I intentionally did not try to get into the beta because I have found that they tend to burn me out. So nice to have some big PC releases coming. Star Craft- Wings of Liberty in about a month and just one month later Elemental! I have been waiting for both of these games for some time.

Is there anyone who will not be getting Starcraft?

That would be me.
I was never a huge fan of the first one and right now I'm royally pissed off at Blizzard, now that we supposedly have to wait another four years for Diablo III (while they're dolling up their latest "Whorecraft DLC or sequel") I'm pretty much boycotting anything they do until either Ghost (haha fat chance) or Diablo III show up.

Also i won't get it - at first. I might get it when all three episodes are bundled together and lowered in price. At the moment i see no need to buy three games to have one. I hate episodes done wrong.

I will not be. I have little interest in playing Starcraft. I found it rather boring the first time around.

I won't be going anywhere near SC2 until they bring Bnet 2.0 to the level that everyone expects them to, right now it's too limited and faceless for me to have any fun in it.

Hmmm, been playing the beta and i can officially say that whilst it was once quite addictive while i was learning some of the strategies. It now bores me, replaying the first 15mins of the game over and over (unless you do 3v3 ofc) is dull, i find that usually i won or lost in my first rush. I was in platinum gold platinum (1v1 2v2 3v3) leagues, i wasnt good, but i had a buid order that worked if that makes sense.

I'm sad to say i won't. my PC died and i probably won't have enough to buy another buy the end of the year. So paying 120 Australian for a game that i can't play
