All of the games that I really want are games that I would never get on PC because of terrible DRM, like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
Part II had the bad DRM, Brotherhood isn't that bad at all.
Didn't they patch the DRM out of part 2 already?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Brotherhood doesn't have the same DRM as ACII

Im getting my first job soon, and this will be my first steam summer sale. I'm scared to see all my money disappear so fast.
Same here, my first paycheck isn't eve here yet! I should also explain that the $200 I spent mostly came from that $80 Sims 3 bundle (There's no way in hell I'm paying $250 to get caught up!). Besides that I also got Reccetear, Plants vs Zombies, the Arma 2 pack, Gmod, Aliens Vs Predator, Bioshock 2, and magicka. Was going to go for the Battlefield BC 2 but just decided against it, not sure if that was a good idea.

$0. I promised myself after buying Terraria that I would not spend another cent on Steam until I had somehow acquired $50 to put BACK into my bank account.

Not even if Portal 3 came out and went on sale for a nickel.

The past few days have sorely tested my self control, but I'm surviving. Being an unemployed student sucks.

As soon as I get a few bucks I'm going to get Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. It seems like a fun and interesting little Japanese indie game.

Just Recettear and Magicka (£7) I plan on buying a few more games from this sale

I bought aload of games at the xmas sale and ive got way too many games atm. I have a dodgy copy of Torchlight on my HD but im gonna pick up the steam version today. About a year back I went though a mad downloading session where I grabbed most of the indies and roms that I wanted.

Apart from playing games on emulators all the dodgy indie games have been unused, Instead ive been slowly buying the real versions when they come up on sale / Humble indie bundle. Apart from supporting the devs its worth paying a few quid just to not have the hassle of bugs, viruses and all that crap.

While Steam sucks for AAA games (which I tend to buy boxed) they are total win for indie games, so much so that I no longer walk around with a blow up parrot on my shoulder.

DoW 2 Retribution (and all DLC, which were sadly not on sale, but i really wanted them anyways), some Civ V DLC, Oblivion GOTY Deluxe, Older GTA pack, Battlefront 2, ARMA II Combined Operations and the British and PMC expansions. Totaling around 80 bucks, and there's still a week to go.....

I now have KOTOR for 2.49, Garry's Mod for 2.49, and Just Cause 2 for 4.99. Unfortunately I found out my laptop (yea I already know) can barely run JC2 smoothly..and that's with the lowest settings and in a very small window. The others work great though.

So far, $0. Like the Perils of Summer sale, this one has yet to have anything good. Alice: Madness Returns, Portal 2, FEAR 3, and Terraria are on my list of "maybes", if they go cheap enough in one-day sales, and the Unreal Pack if I don't spend enough towards the end...

gah they've been killing me, most of the games i've been waiting for they have had in at least one steam daily sale so far these past few days

Two worlds II - 17.00
Fable III + DLC - (can't find the receipt thing) somewhere around 27 i believe
Recettear- 5.00
Star wars Battlefront II - 2.49
TFU Ultimate Sith edition - 13.49

so around 65 bucks so far, and those games are all worth it so I'm pretty happy! I think i'm done though..unless they put dungeon siege III on sale then i'll be

$11-12 bucks or so. $5 for Tropico 3 Gold Edition and... however little it was for Sword of the Stars. That's all I plan to get.

I've managed to stay below $10 miraculously. I've gifted two copies of Gmod at $2.50 each and I bought KOTOR1 for $3.00

I don't want anything else.

I have spent a whopping $0.00. Not from lack of interest, but because I only have prepaid cards, and Steam seems to be on a "we'll accept those IF we feel like it" basis.
