well ME2 is "technically" an RPG (god dont get the hardcore crowd raging about that one) so talking is to be expectied (and one of the best parts of the game) but it is awsomeSmashLovesTitanQuest said:Just get Mass Effect 2.
Yeah, I know its third person. Yeah, I know you spend about as much time talking as you do shooting stuff. But im about halfway through, and let me tell you that the dialogue, just like the story, is absolutely sublime up till now. I cant believe I didnt pick this game up earlier, although that was due to the steaming pile of shit Mass Effect 1 turned out to be (although im actually glad I only just got it because now I wont have to spend 2 years craving the third part, yay!).
So *ahem* yeah, enough of the rambling.
Its good though that you played ME1 (even if you didnt like it all that much)as it really just doesnt feel right playing ME2 without it
as for ME1 I while I enjoyed it at the time I didnt think much of it, probably because of all the technical issues (and starting a new game 5 times in a row the first time because shepard did look right) but now I can see how awsome it is and have had fun replaying, though its nowhere near as polished as ME2...yeah ME2 was a hige imporvment
just out of curiosity did you play as male shepard? if you ever get around to replaying ME1 or even 2 you could try playing as female shepard as people generally think her VA is waaaay better (male shep does tend to be a little bland)could improve the experience, but thats just my preference
