Nearly any game where you don't hold a voting majority, because you know for a fact that little troll in Left 4 Dead won't be kicked if there are only two of you.

League of legends though, i refuse to solo queue or play without a full pre-made team. There will always be one delightful person who believes they carry the team and that your support tank score of 0/3/27 is worse than his score of 5/5/0 because he actually has kills. Word of advice to anyone thinking of playing league of legends, play with friends, it's safer that way.

I just encountered a hacker the other day in Team Fortress 2. He was speedhacking, aimbotting, and generally just making the game unplayable.
As for more general stuff, I absolutely hate people who play Battlefield:BC2 and do nothing but fire anti-tank weaponry at people. I might take a shot at someone with an RPG if I'm out of ammo and desperate, but some people make it their only strategy.
Wait are you saying the Carl Gustav isn't a sniper rifle?

Monster Tri - Lazy jackasses that don't want to do any work or just hit you when your trying to carve.

GoldenEye - Hackers, Camp snipers even if their on my own team

Borderlands - People who just keep shooting explosive weapons at you.

But about the noob tubing I ask this question. When I play GoldenEye and I have a gun with a grenade launcher. Is it considered tubing when the person I tried to kill the person who ran around a corner and I use the splash damage of the grenade to kill them to avoid getting myself killed?
Noob toobs only exist in MW2. It got that name because the grenade launcher was ridiculously overpowered.

I love how everyone's saying "noob-toobers" and such.

Using features implemented in the game != Being a douchebag.
I don't even play these games and even I can see how stupid that is. Just because they manage to kill you in the game doesn't make them bad people.
Noob-Tubes are no talent weapons that take the fun out of the game and cheapen the experience. If you disagree, give it a shot. Otherwise don't talk about something you didn't experience. You'll complain when it happens to you too.
Happens to me all the time and I still don't care. If you want to get angry at someone for overpowered weapons, blame developers, not the people who chose to use something better than your gun.

On topic more, pretty much 90% of people who talk on xbox live. Not for being offensive or anything. They're just all REALLY annoying to listen to.

From Wikipedia:

"In video gaming, Camping is a tactic in which a player will obtain a strategic position anywhere on the map and wait for players to arrive and be killed, or waiting for useful objects to appear in an area rather than actively seeking them out."

I do believe the spawning counts as them 'arriving'
If you say so; most good games have some sort of counter-measure in place to stop it, though.
I guess that was my main issue with MW2, aside from the dodgy net code.

i've never played with just one douchebag. they always come in pairs. i had to listen to the most ridiculous argument on mw2 where two guys were repeatedly questioning each others masculinity. it was pretty annoying but not annoying enough to stop playing long enough to mute them.

I have nothing but un-ending hate for anybody who plays music down their microphone, I don't want to listen to your crappy music! Generally though if people are annoying I'll just mute them no big deal really. I really don't mind noob toobers in games like MW, I don't like MW for it's progression system that makes it really hard to get into at first, if new players have to do whatever to scrape together a few kills good luck to them.

There was this one guy in WoW who kept bitching at me for needing on healer gear(the healer said he didn't even need it), even though I told him my secondary Spec. was holy. I was a protection paladin.

But I don't play much online, partly because of the douchers, so this isn't even bad.

Not necessarily a 'better gun' I still kick their asses it just cheapens the experience.

Players who yell at me for using a "noob-tube" or camping. In my experience the tactics are easily beaten, I reckon I get killed by campers and noob-tubers less than, you know, bullets and such. But they're valid tactics, and yeah I use them.
Other than that, well I don't actually play online a lot. So... There was one time in TF2 when I was sniping, and some idiot would follow me to every spot, as a sniper, trying to steal my kills. He'd usually just get shot pretty quick, but it was kinda irritating. I switched classes, he stopped bothering me.

I think the point is people feel a grenade that explodes without giving you a chance to run away is unfair. Much like a one hit kill knife, barely visible mines or those things that can kill you in like a second from huge distances...um bullets I think they're called.
Yeah, but with a knife you got to get close giving you a disadvantage. Bullets on the other hand don't do one hit kill splash damage.
And under-barrel launchers require you to switch to them, are hard to use well over distance, have very little ammo and quite often fire dud grenades (in my experience anyhow). Everything has pros and cons.
Normally yes, but some people combine that with scavenger and do it all round long.

I get grief for the old "There's a girl playing, lets spam chat with dickish questions/remarks"

I'm not one of those feminist "I'm a girl gamer deal with it types" i just want to get on and enjoy video games without grief. Mostly i'll be chatting with my clan-mates and others will hear, or one of said clan-mates gives the game away by accident through banter.

the most annoying instance i can think about is Red Dead Multiplayer. i'be lost count of times i went to do a gang lair and got sniped in the head by arsholes when i'm trying to earn points or do it without incurring death subtractions.
This.

Also I think those chicks that are super into girl power and say stuff like, "You just got beat by a girl!" are ironically anti-feminist.

You know what annoys me? Those people who complain about people employing deliberately designed game mechanics to win.

OH MY GOD THEY'RE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF TOOLS, WHAT DOUCHEBAGS.

This is why I can't take FPS players seriously, the community is full of people like the OP.

If you kick so much ass, why do you care so much? And I still wonder at why you think people are douche bags for using weapons built into the game.

I personally have no problem with using grenade launchers, it's just the people that ONLY use grenade launchers that piss me off. you know, scavenger+grenage launcher. sprint around, spawn camp, fire some grenades, collect ammo, wash rinse and repeat. it's a classic dick move

I'm one of the people who actually like King of the Hill and Oddball in Halo. These gametypes are often chaotic and almost always very fun, at least to me. What always bothers me are the people who refuse to actually play the game. The guy who considers the skull his kill bait instead of picking it up and trying to win by the rules.

I know these people are not doing anything technically wrong. It's their game to play as they see fit. But when your favorite gametype isn't one of the more popular you rarely actually even get to play it. And when the voting finally goes you way only to see people ignoring the goal just to screw up your K/D or whatever, it's disheartening.

I like to teamkill campers in games like Black Ops or MW2 just to get a rise out of them and most of the time it is quite hilarious.
I hate thoose intentional team killering douchebags. When I get into a tacticly-viable position, the kill me and think it's hilarious. They just ruin the game for me.
See that's why it's hilarious, because it's a game and people get worked up over something that you shouldn't get worked up about.
