I'm not sure what you mean here. Nobody has even mentioned homosexuals in regards to this kid being raped. In fact the OP never even mentioned the sexuality of the offender, just that he raped two boys.

I'm tempted to link to this article to back up my views on capital punishment in the capital punishment thread. To have commited rape twice by 16 shows imo serious problems, this kid should be put down - he is essentially an animal in my eyes.

Also the judge is obviously a joke.

I wouldn't be so sure. This is the British justice system after all...
Repeat offences after being let off lightly is unfortunately becoming more and more common here. The fact that he raped a kid and got let off (don't get me started on the first victim's parents forgiving him) just shows how fucked the system is. If the rapist had been a few months older, I'm sure the rapist would've been treated much differently. Juveniles who commit serious offences like this get let off too easily.

Admittedly it is hard to care sometimes, I don't mean that in a sick, insensitive way, but with so much shit that happens if you let yourself get affected by all of it you'll never be happy.

That said, this is pretty sickening, especially the parents forgiving the rapist of all things.

I'd sympathize with the rapist if he had done it once and had tried to straighten out after that, however he loses any of my sympathy and/or respect when he went off and raped another child.

The children on the other hand does get my sympathy, as this will be something that will be brought up for the rest of their lives and will be used against them in high school.

How is it that kid's fault he doens't have the luck to be educated? Or his fault he has sick urges to rape kids?

I'm not saying he should be forgiven cos he shouldn't but it isn't that kids fault, some people are just messed up like that and need serious help and/or a life sentence if they don't want the help.

Anyway. This guy should deffinitely be given a life sentence. He should've at least gotten some jail time and some serious fucking help the first time but if he doesn't get one for doing it a second time there is something seriously fucked up. And if someone says he's innocent because he's only 16 I might just explode.

Thats what i heard also because i found it sick that they could do that. Sorry but even my grandparents who are christian would not forgive him. They didn't forgive my abuser either. I personally hope the kid rots in a cold dark cell for what he has done. They were children for christs sake. How sick and messed up can you get???

God my blood boils when i hear these types of stories. I don't care if the victims parents forgave him, did they have to feel the pain and confusion? No, their kid did instead. So the court should not have taken their view into consideration just because the child is too young to stand up and say he wants the rapist in hell. Justice sucks.
