The Band has existed for 25 years in conceptual continuity, says about itself that it sucks and that they are fake, money-hungry bastards. Also, everyone but the lead singer has at one point been replaced in this project, which is kind of impressive considered how many line-ups both for live and study albums there were. Also the Bass player used to be in here, then with Marylin Manson and now produced a collaborative album with them again.

My favourite band have no interesting facts, so here's some rather obscure ones:

Bang Camaro have a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer and 12 lead singers.
Anamanaguchi, the chiptune band who created the soundtrack for the Scott Pilgrim game, use an actual NES (albeit a modified one) to generate their 8-Bit sounds, both in the studio and while onstage.

I rarely pick favorites, so I'll list off a fact or two about some of my top ones, see if anyone can guess them.

They've gone through four vocalists, and are planning to release a new album with their second and my favorite) singer. Also, they teamed up with Public Enemy for a song.

OT: Demon Hunter is a Christian Metal band and the singer (who can sing really well) usually has a killer beard. Is that interesting enough?

Last one is Anthrax. They'd be my favorite if they just had kept Belladonna on, he was much funnier than the others, and wrote more memorable songs. The value minded part of me likes that John Bush tended to write more per album, but he wasn't as good. Also, he had his own band, Armoured Saint, so he didn't need to go fucking about with Anthrax. All Belladonna got was a solo career, and he only made a couple albums, one of which is terrible.

Also, they seemed to have better riffs when Belladonna was around. I still don't know why they kicked him out...

When they played Sonisphere this year they had Belladonna as the singer and they were awesome. Really enjoyable set.

Sounds amazing. I heard that he's making a new album with them, and that's it's supposed to come out this year, but I'm starting to doubt it, because only that one place said it, and I haven't heard anything else about it...

The lead singer/guitarist had a complete break down from stage fright (there was other stuff going on too, but it came out as crippling stage fright) and they never played another show after that, just doing studio albums. The break down was in '82 and they were together until about '05 so it didn't exactly stop them...
