A mysterious man is trying to kill you. You need to hire a body guard to protect you and at that moment a scientist with a rather bushy mustache appears out of nowhere. He gives you a device and says you can now bring any Team Fortress 2 character out of the video game and into real life to be your bodyguard. Who do you choose?

I would choose the Spy because it seems like he could keep me safe and not get in my way. He also looks like he could have a decent conversation.

Probably the Scout, his scattergun is stupid powerful up close. He's also funny.
I would give him $5 extra an hour if he said "BONK!" every 15 minutes.

Engineer, he has a sentry gun and there are no sappers in real life!

Spy or Pyro seem the worst. Pyro since he'd just as likely set your house on fire than get the crazed gunman, and Spy is a quadruple double back criss crosser and never really was on your side.

The Heavy, of course. He's hilarious, and he has a huge gun. He can take a lot of hits too.

The Heavy is the first to come to mind, though the Spy seems like the best option when thinking about it. He's very stealthy and sneaky, and could easily kill the man with one swift stab in the back. Plus, if he's ever discovered/ the man ever attacks me, he could just cloak and sneak up behind him for the easy win. That's assuming that the character you pick will never betray you though...

I'm gonna go with Engineer, Spy would be a good 2nd choice

Soldier would probably keep a good lookout, but he also might just accidentally blow up your house

Probably Scout. Not only would I enjoy his company, but he's loudly violent. The other eight classes could pretty much blend into a crowd and not cause a scene. A lanky kid hopped-up on energy drinks, waving a baseball bat around and throwing out insults on every other breath is a sure sign not to get close to me.

Engineer. He could build a few sentries around the house. One infront of each door and a few one the roof.

It's gotta be the scout.

"Oh sorry I didn't meant to do that OH WAIT YEAH I DID"

That or the medic. He could ubercharge my PC.

The Medic of course, he could just keep me healed and then Uber me when it gets rough.

That actually kind of sounds dirty.

Heavy. Takes hits, and could probably punch the assassin to death.
I'd say Scout, but he'd probably get annoying. Quickly.

For a bodyguard? Surely the Heavy. No one is gonna fuck with you when you have a 300lb Russian packing a shotgun at your side.

Not to mention he could pummel an attacker to death with his bare fists. The only downside would be finding enough sandviches to keep him alert.

I'd have a Spy follow me with a Cloak and Dagger watch so he'll always stay invisible. The killer won't know what hit him.

Spy: I wouldn't trust him with my life. He doesn't have the best weapons and may miss an opportunity if he watches me stealthily.

Pyro: Maybe. He might burn me, but I'd say he's one of the better choices.

Soldier: Same as the pyro, but with added unbearable.

Demoman: A little bit more competent than the soldier, but with even more added unbearable.

Scout: Would probably be totally annoying to hang around with and with no reliable weapon.

Sniper: He may be an interesting person to be around, but I wouldn't trust a sniper to kill someone that is rushing at me (at least not as much as other classes).

Medic: He wouldn't be able to kill my persuer, but an uber-charge would give us a nice advantage.

Engineer: He would only be of any use if we stayed in one spot for the rest of my life.

Heavy: He'd be a great bouncer, but stupid as hell.
