Hayden waited patiently in line with a sigh as he prepared to register for the first time. All the training and preparation was going to pay off for the moment he could make his Grandfather proud."He put his hands in his pockets and looked around, eyeing everyone around him."Man... This bites, shouldn't the paparazzi be allowed to take a leap in the line?" He groaned impatiently.

Frann waited in line patiently, eyeing up everyone as he waited for his assigned partner to show up. This was his first assignment for the company, Registering. He was rather bored, but he didn't mind. If it made his father happy with him then he'd wait. He couldn't help but notice how short he was compared to everyone else.

The FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST was used to waiting this long for the usual amounts of tedious paperwork, He hated paperwork, it was so bland and uninteresting, but what was interesting was all the other people here."Where is that man...?" He asked aloud to no one in particular as he adjusted his top hat, and shifted his glasses."Dr Ivan... Where aaaarrreee you~?"

Sitting on the other end of the bench Mira was sitting on, was Doctor Ivankov. "That they do. All those rookies get beaten out by the mechs I made for the real competitors." He said, with a tinge of cockiness. He looked down at his number. "687. Ugh. I should have gotten in right a way. I built mechs for them for god knows how long... Ungrateful people..." Ivan scratched his head.

well I have number 234 I shouldn't have to wait too long, sure I left to start the paper work at 2 am but It will be worth cutting out the wait as kevin was walking around he heard someone say something about them building mechs, he turned to this person (dr ivan) 'so you built mechs, why I do the same thing for a living. so I presume you constructed your own mech, because I constructed my own mech'

Jasmine Kinoshita walked back from the registry table, her number in hand. After over 3 years of design, construction, and training... the EnforcerRobo Mark I was ready for field testing. At first she was rather confused a to why exactly the guys in R&D would think that the MBF was a good place to test, but when the Boss, Commander Cruger, told her it was to promote the Public image and to make the department money among other more secret things, she became rather enthusiastic, she was going to have fun delicious violent explosive fun.

The Deltasquad Officer walked by a man whining about there paparazzi not being allowed to cut in line her curiosity was peaked. she straightened up her uniform and walked over to the sharp dressed man, smoothed her uniform and said, "Jasmine Kinoshita, Deltasquad. so whats up press. You here to report or fight?"

Hayden said turning to face the young woman who addressed him as he checked his number and the numbers that were being called and gave a sigh."I'm willing to bet you're an officer of the law, am I right?" He asked scratching the back of his head."Any criminals here, or just entering?"

Frann began to whistle a rather cheerful tune.

And THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST spotted Dr.Ivan and walked over with an eerie grin as he tapped his cane along the tiled floor."Dr. Ivan. My old Rival! Heeeeelllloooo~!"

"As for your second question that is a definite absolute....." she said with building over dramatic excitement. "Maybe" she said in a monotone, realizing she hadn't answered the question Jasmine said, "Oh funny you should ask I'm entering."

Frann Yawned."I would rather be watching Bob Ross' undead corpse painting more happy little trees than be involved with this spectacular test of patience." He mused boredly to himself.

Jasmine heard Hayden's crude remark and turned to face him she reached her arm out an wrapped it around the reporters neck and began to laugh. "Enter me, that's a good one Press." she said between laughs. "But as funny as it was, I still am contractually obligated to do this." she then punched him in the gut. "no hard feelings." she added

Louie finally entered the building, having overslept he had barely any time to get ready, let alone time for anything to eat, but he still managed to make it into the building at a decent hour.
"Move aside, clear a path, make way" he said hurriedly as he started making his way through the crowds to where he vaguely thought that the signups were, knowing that if he didn't hurry it up he would be hearing back from the people at STD, and that was the last thing he wanted to hear.
"Okay... gotta find Fran and get our number..." he said while looking around the crowd, he was able to see over the tops of most peoples heads but couldn't find the little ball of special needs. He frowned slightly before deciding to ask someone about this, he saw from behind what looked like a respectable man, and maybe he'd seen him.
"Excuse me sir, I'm wondering if you saw a kid about... yay high" he held his hand to a bit below his chest "Blonde hair, red eyes, may or may not be holding something sharp?"

Alex sighed as he looked at the competition. Lots of good pilots, some new pilots, most of them thinking they could bring down anything in front of them, thinking they could have a perfect season. It was inevitable that he would lose a few fights, stealth and agility can only do so much, but he at least would give it his all and get another good, or maybe even better, season under his belt. His ticket number had more zeros than he cared to count, so he just waited in a chair and watched as a police woman beat up a reporter. Well, at least she has nuts... He watched for a bit, then started to walk around the park, adjusting his flight jacket and flight cap to fit the persona he had, half for the press that would no doubt show up, and half so he could be recognized.

THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST turned to the man who addressed him as he asked if he had seen a shrimpy blonde who Dr. Faust assumed was a dyke of some sort."Oh Yes, the little girl who was speaking of reanimating Bob Ross and watching him paint. I can help you find heeerrr~!" He said misaddressing Frann as being female as he nearly shouted in his flamboyant voice.

"OH GOD PAIN." Hayden said as he crumpled up and nearly fell, seeing as he was never much of a fighter and his pain tolerance was rather low."Heheh..." He said quickly getting to his feet and trying to play it off."Well... How much longer do you think the wait is?"

Louie had to take into account what he was seeing and hearing right then, because at the moment it seemed that an extremely... off man is currently assaulting a good majority of his senses by just standing there and saying a few lines. Though he just put it to the side as atleast he was kind enough to take him to Fran... or maybe what sounded like a female version of him.
If that was so it would have to become his new goal in life to keep those two from meeting.
"Yeah sure, that sounds close enough really. But if you can help me find this person I'd be really grateful" then, on a whim he decided he may as well introduce himself to the helpful fruit.

"By the way, my names Louis. Louis Cypher but just call me Louie" he said "me and Fran are kind of partners in this thing"

Dr. Ivan turned towards Kevin and blinked twice, looking unamused, ignoring THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST.. "...Yes, and I'm fairly certain mine is better. Sorry, but I really don't want to talk to amateurs. And before you say anything about your experience, don't. Everyone is an amateur compared to me."

Hayden nodded as his breathing returned to normal."Alright, that sounds... That sounds like a good deal." He said nodding as he then reached down and picked up his camera, making sure no harm had come to it."Heh, so an officer and a police robot in the MBF... This sounds like quite a story."

THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST then introduced himself."Ah, that name is truly a great one, you may address me as THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST... But that's sort of long so you may call me THE WHIMSICAL AND MARVELOUS DR. OF FABULOUSITY, THE GREAT HORATIO G. FAUST III." Finishing the introduction he then grabbed Louie by the hand awkwardly and skipped off into the crowd.

"Indeed my friend it is quite the story, you see the Mech is the defense against Mech based crime. We at Deltasquad know that Crime never sleeps and we are here to protect the weak. Why exactly am I in the MBF, TESTING. The head of R&D and my friend Miss Caroline thought we needed feild testing and Commander Cruger thought we should test it in the MBF, because it is in the MBF where the hearts and minds of the world are. Alexius had been so excited to return for his second season in the MBF that he had hardly been able to sleep the night before. So naturally he had gotten there very early but ended up with number 320 anyways. Still, he crowded the entrance along with all the excited newbies to the extent that you'd never know he had participated in the last season, and scanned the crowd to see if he could spot Master Lyn.

Lyn, on the other hand showed up much later. She was eager to get back on the battlefield again of course, she had to prove to her whiny students that she was the best, otherwise they'd never listen to her. Not that they ever did anyway. But she hated the thought of showing up in front of the press. She had done well last season, and had been pestered by reporters at her school all throughout the off-season much to her annoyance. "Number 1000...." She muttered to herself as she took a seat on the nearest bench and hoped no one would recognize her.

Hayden had indeed taken note as he finished writing it down on a notepad he had with him as he nodded again."Well, always nice to have someone around who isn't afraid to let me in on a good scoop... Hold that thought..." Hayden scanned around the area looking for another story, he spotted Dr.Faust."Nope... Too fabulous..." He then weighed his options."Huh... Isn't that the broad who won that small MegaloCorp tournament awhile back, before entering into the MBF? What was her name...? But over there, that's that MW designer Dr.Whatshisface... Heh.." He had decided to flip a coin.

"Then I'll let you to your hunts Press, see you later." with that Jasmine left Hayden's company and went off to on of the food stalls. "I'll take a Jelly doughnut and a cup of coffee." she flashed her Deltasquad badge and it was free.
With coffee and doughnut in hand Jasmine went over to THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST, "Faust its been a long time still keeping out of trouble I hope?"

Kallen and Lelouch walked out of the registration hall and sat down on a park bench nearby, watching a police offer beat up and then chat to a well dressed man while others watched on. "Well, that paperwork was tedious and a waste of time. And to think that we were invited by the MBF into this season's circuit, our ticket numbers were 214 and 216. We weren?t even next to each other! Well, at least there is a good and varied lineup of Mechs this year." Lelouch said in a bored tone. Kallen nodded in agreement. "Yeah! This should be fun, I'll get to smash some of these fragile looking little Mechs into pieces!" Kallen said enthusiastically as she playfully punched Lelouch on his arm.
?Oww!? Lelouch replied. It really did hurt, he was a weakling.
?Aww stop being a baby about it, you love it!? Kallen chided. Lelouch smiled. He did like it. Kallen spied all the food chains and her tummy rumbled. Lelouch rubbed it and began to speak to Kallen in a mock tone of disapproval. ?Certainly you aren?t hungry are you? We had a huge breakfast before we left!?
Kallen laughed and put her hand over her husband?s. ?Yes Lulu, we did have a big breakfast, but now I?m hungry again! I?m thinking, pizza?? Kallen said as she motioned towards the nearby Pizza Hut. They walked over and ordered a pizza to share, and sat at the last free table. 10 minutes in, a young British girl with long green hair came over with a pizza. ?Hello, one pepperoni supreme, large deep pan?? She inquired.
?Yes, that?s us.? Kallen said as she took the pizza. ?Thanks, erm how much is the tip??
The green haired girl giggled mischievously and pointed at Lelouch. ?The tip is from me to you, and here?s how it goes. Don?t get a cat, and don?t ever say ?Everything is going according to plan?. Ever. Your tip to me, is a slice of pizza.? She said mysteriously as she grabbed a slice and walked off. Kallen watched the girl leave and turned to Lelouch. ?What the hell was that?!? You didn?t even stop her from taking some of our pizza! I oughta go complain to her boss!? She fumed loudly. Lelouch smiled and shook his head. ?No.? He began, ?I know her from somewhere, it?s ok. I?m sure she won?t bother us again, besides the vendor?s will be all gone when registration is over, and we could never eat a whole pizza anyways.?

Kallen fumed silently as she ate her pizza. She hated it when Lelouch was right.
