He exclaimed. "Now I'm helping this man find his lost Daughter~!" He then also exclaimed, placing a hand on his hip.

Hayden then noticed Alex Campbell and decided that he would have to do."Hello sir, quick question, how long have they let Paedophiles into this competition?" He asked, just dicking around for a quick false report.

Alex sighed, again. "If you are making fun of the jacket and cap, it's a costume I wear for the pictures. If you confused me with a wanted pedophile, then I'm afraid you have the wrong person, for I am not a pedophile." He said calmly. Well, the Rocket Spears are pretty damn small... it's not like the press will be able to recognize me at a glance.

"Sir, what are you writing?" He asked, peering over at the notepad. "And, if I may ask, why are you asking me this? It's not like I'm famous or anything. You won't get much for this obviously fake story. Hell, go write it about the cop that gut-punched you, then you'll have a sport player and a police woman." He was clearly starting to get annoyed, but was still patient with the man. Surely he wouldn't try to ruin Alex's career for a story.

Hayden then grinned."I'm just taking a survey, no need to worry sir, and I intend to, but I'm working on a quota." Hayden said as he continued jotting, he then snapped a quick photo and proceeded to run away.

THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST then chuckled."We have found her!" He said glad that this endeavor was coming to a successful close.

Kenneth had been waiting in line patiently and quietly this whole time, waiting for his number. The time had finally come for him to get said number. He grabbed it and walked to the bench everyone seemed to be going to, and looked down at his number, 731, Jesus christ, how many people can this damn thing fit!? he mentally shouted, Those preliminaries....Must get rid of a bunch of cannon-fodder....

He slouched back in his seat with a sigh, "Here's to hoping I don't suck when my time comes..." He mumbled to himself.

Alex watched the person as he ran, then walked away. It would probably be his number soon, and he took his place in line and waited. When he finally got his paperwork, he sat down and start to fill it out. Man, why can't we, just once, have a pencil pusher that does this? Seems a lot easier. He filled half of it out, then gave up and got up to get some food. He grabbed a burger from some random stand and looked for a place to sit down. The only "open" table was one where there were two people and a pizza. Well, as long as I keep quiet... He approached the table, a weak smile on his face. "Huh, hi. Mind if I sit here? There's no other tables even slightly open."

'well someone seems to be very confident,' Kevin started syaing with great enthusiasm 'and that's great as confidence is a sign of determination and you need to be determined in order to win. Well if your mech is better then mine I would love to see it it must be great work of engineering and you must have some real talent for building mechs. As for me and my mech, well I have been working with mechs since I was 5 and my mech, it is completely made out of stuff from a scrapyard and spare pieces from other jobs that I had building mechs'

Kevin just continued talking 'and building mechs gives us a great advantage, as we will be easily able to find the weak spots of a mech and hit them for massive damage. I mean I have memorized the workings of nearly every mech that has ever been build in order to prepare my self for the fights, what about you?' he said to dr.ivan not pausing at any points.

Having already finished their paperwork long ago, Thomas Andwander stood near one of the walls of the large building and addressed his troop. "That's right! This is the year that we really take off. This season we rise suddenly through the ranks and make a name for ourselves. Then next season we clinch the championship. I can feel it in my bones, this is our season!"

The other two members sat nearby with somewhat incredulous looks on their faces.

"Are you sure things won't just be like last year again?" Hank asked between bites of a ham sandwich. "I think you said something like that then as well." His voice holding it's normal hint of sarcastic disinterest.

"Yup. We'd better not be stuck doing the same thing every year. You promised victory after victory when we started this gig." Georgena chimed in. However, her dismissive words were somewhat diminished by the slight smirk she had on her face as she looked over the crowd as though already looking for who her opponent would be.

Tom took a sip of coffee and sighed before he responded to his team mates. "No way, we're in much better shape then last year. Our teamwork is way better, and we even have enough ammunition and parts for two or three full matches. Trust me, this year is going to be our start of greatness."

Lelouch turned to Alex and smiled. "It seems that we have the only table with room left. Come, join us, we don't bite." Lelouch beckoned as Alex sat down and began to shyly eat his burger. Kallen finished her slice and looked at Alex. She immediately launched into a series of questions. "So, I'm Kallen Kozuki and this is my husband Lelouch Kozuki. We're both pilots invited by the MBF and this is our first season. Are you a pilot or a fan stalking a pilot?"

"Sir it was a pleasure to meet you, and I'm glad you found your fish, Dr. Faust its always ...something to see you, but If you three will excuse me." said Jasmine walking off to a private corner she needed to call Commander Cruger and finally check her number.
She pulled out her Badge, which also doubled as a communication device.

"Boss, I've registered for the MBF" she said
"I...um haven't checked yet sir." she responded,before opening her registration number, 537.
"537 sir, also I have acquired a media contact."
"Hayden Crowley. Sir"
"Also I ran into our old friend Dr. Faust"
"Sorry sir, its just that...fine THE FABULOUS DR. HORATIO FAUST"
"And Commander, STD has at least two entries into the league this year."
"Yes Sir...oh and send Caroline my love. Jasmine out."
With the conversation over Jasmine put away her Badge and went to scope out the rest of the area.

Dr. Ivan again, turned his head, and sighed. "Kid, look. I really wanted to come sit out here and relax while I waited for my number to be called. If answering will question will make you go away, any quicker, then fine. Since you claim to know so much about mechs, you should know who I am and what I've done. I've decided that a good number of people piloting my works of art are imbeciles, so now I've decided to pilot one of my very own. and don't say you know what it is, because you don't. I built it by hand, with professional parts I customized, alone, and it's yet to have been shown. You'll get to see it in the arena, but if you think I'm going to give you specs, then you're an idiot. Now, run back along to your scrapyard mech, which i'm sure is VERY impressive, and leave me be, please. I'd just like to wait here without some kid running his mouth when I don't really care all too much."

'well I don't really care about who builds mechs I just really learn about the actual mechs, but if you do built a goo chunk of mechs out their I will guess your mech is humanoid. Then of course the cock pit will be in the chest of the mech, and most of it's sensory devises in it's head, so once my mech tares of it's head you will be left pretty much blind and my mech will be left to tar you to shreds. But of course the tricky part is tearing the head off as you will try to keep your distance and use range weapons, but that is why I made my mech as fast an agile as I could.' Kevin said in a matter of seconds, he then grinned 'well how right am I?'

Dr. Ivan ground his teeth a bit. "Look, kid. I don't care what your mech can do, but you've just kind of told me your entire strategy. Now I can go back and fix my mech to be able to counter your mech easily. And you're flying off the bat and assuming my mech if humanoid annoys me. what if my mech isn't humanoid? And, what if, I didn't put most of the sensory parts in the head, provided it even has a head? Just by how you just told me most of what your mech can do, I'm entirely certain now that I can beat you. If you wanted to be a threat, you should have kept your mouth shut, like I am. Kid, I'm going to be blunt, but I don't care what kind of mechs you built or how you built them, I'm here, in this park, to relax and wait for my number to be called, and I'm here in this tournament to beat out the rest of the pilots here, especially the ones piloting mechs I designed. I'm not terribly interested in a kid who went doing to the dump and built his mech and then decides to blab about it to his enemies. In fact? I think that later, i'm just going to build some defenses on my mech. Good job, kid. Want my expert advice? Keep to yourself and keep your mouth shut about your mech. It'll keep you from getting your ass kicked longer." He then turned back around and lowered himself back onto the bench. He was done with this conversation.

As Jasmine walk around she noticed some kid talking to Dr. Ivan. While she wasn't quite sure what was going on, she figured she should go talk to the good Doctor, though to be honest he looked pretty annoyed, well more then normal anyway. She was familiar with the man as he had stopped by Deltasquad Headquarters and consulted on the construction of the EnforcerRobo.
She approached Doctor Ivan and said, "Doctor Ivan, its been awhile its good to see you. Jasmine from Deltasquad, we met a few times when you consulted with us on the EnforcerRobo's construction."
