We all have one, you know that boss that took you a million tries to beat or you still haven't beaten to this day? What is your One Boss? As for me, it's probably that giant SOB that comes out of the building in Devil May Cry 2, I still haven't beaten him.
Seriously? The one boss that comes out of the building? You go to the trouble to start a thread on him/her/it and you don't even recall the name or feel the need to come up with a description?

"Hey! Everybody! Tell me about your first fight. I was thinkin' about this the other day because I was doing something-or-other with a guy-I don't remember who-and he asked me about the first time I had a sandwhich, and I thought of this one guy who ate the one thing the other time."

I predict baby/bottle/diaper role play/fetishism will explode in a few years...

Having my kitty fall asleep on me when I need to go to the restroom. In my head is the most intense argument whether I should do it or not.
She's doing it right now. :(

Every single boss from Ninja Gaiden 2.

Especially the big ones.
The big armadillo one is particularly bad as it explodes and kills you even after you have beaten it if you don't know it will explode

The final boss in Heavenly Sword. It's been about 2 years since then, and I've long forgotten his name, but God damn, I sure haven't forgotten the rage and frustration of that fucking three-stage battle!
It's the Heavenly Sword final boss for me as well.

I didn't even continue to try after 2 days... the game wasn't worth the effort at that point.

Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts 2.... Man, he took me ages to beat. Funny story actually, i was playing my copy of it at home, and i'm like "FUUUU why is this so hard!!!" Then my girlfriend was having a sleepover, and we booted up the PS2 and her copy of the game. Now, she's grinded up to level 95, boosted all drive forms, and has Ultima weapon... Beat him with a flick of my wrist on her save file.

Also, The Ice titan and Sephiroth again from the first Kingdom Hearts. Still not beaten.

EDIT: HOW COULD I BLOODY FORGET! The clocktower Boss in the peter pan world (KH1) I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER beat him, nor try to.

Nine-Ball [http://armoredcore.wikia.com/wiki/Nine-Ball] from Armored Core: Master of Arena [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armored_Core:_Master_of_Arena]. God, he is fucking hard, just like the rest of the game. But I still love the game.

Amelyssan in Throne of Bhaal, if you've installed the Ascension mod. Unfortunately for her, she did not reckon with the power of Uninstall.
Shit, I don't think I've ever beat her even WITHOUT the Ascension mod. Or I've never beaten her without hacks rather. :p

Greene in Prototype. I never died, but FUCK ME was that boss fight boring. It took me half an hour(or longer) to beat her on Normal. Not cool. No, it wasn't hard; it was actually piss easy. It's just that I spent most of the time getting juggled and knocked over by shit all the time. You're not fighting the boss, you're TRYING to fight the boss.

Bear in mind that I call that boss the most boring one even though I've fought the boss in Crysis. What's the problem with the boss in Crysis you ask? Well, as soon as I go outside, my computer slowly starts to crash. To beat the boss(both the small and the big one) I had to make every shot count. The framerate dropped every second until my computer eventually got a Bluescreen. I think it took me about 20 tries or something before I could finally beat it in time. Y__Y

Third seymour battle in ffx. It's hardly impossible but it's so much harder than anything up to that point. In my opinion it's even harder than his 4th form. Having to re-watch a way too long cutscene every time you fail doesn't help either.
Trema and the golden omega weapon in ffx-2 had the exact same problem: way harder than anything before and a way too long cutscene right before it.

Honorable mention: pretty much any boss in devil may cry 3 on dante must die difficulty.

The part in Batman Arkham Asylum where the titan henchmen come out of the lift with about 30 henchmen. On hard mode its basically impossible :/

Bloody this! God damn, I raged so hard after dying to him and wasting the whole day trying to kill him that I actually deleted my save in sheer frustration and anger... I'm currently working on slowly regaining the lost progress because I hate having unfinished games taunting me on the shelf...

Probably the endgame boss from Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door

I had no idea the last chapter would be so damn long, and didn't bring enough healing items. That took forever.

Mizar in Jet Force Gemini. No matter how hard I tried and how much help I had from someone using the little support robot on controller #2, I could never beat him. And now I can't even go back and play the game at all because of how poorly the game has aged. It's mostly just the aiming: the cursor is constantly trying to snap back to the middle of the screen instead of just having the entire camera move with the cursor like in modern games. I had been hoping for a modern release like other Rare games got on XBLA, but after seeing how the rerelease of Perfect Dark had the same shit aiming in its demo, I no longer care what they do with the game.
Pretty much this - although the mantis twins are also a massive pain in the ass. I distinctly remember starting the game all over again - while saving all the ammo expansions for Juno - because I'd never have enough rockets to kill him. Then again, I was considerably younger back when the game was new.

Also:

^This boss. On hard mode. On the Gamecube version. Absolute stuff of nightmares.

Boss I-no from Guilty Gear XX (f*cking Megalomania) and Unlimited Hazama from Blaz Blue CS (Health drain field plus an inability to reliably zone him due to his crazy swinging moves). I hate those two.

The last two bosses in Dead Rising 2 (Whom I won't name due to spoilers). God damn.

The first one just WON'T take damage from anything, unless you're clairvoyant and somehow knew that the ONLY weapon that would damage him is the knife-gloves.
Just Drop Kick him (to stun him) then hit him with a decent weapon like the axe hammer combo

Seen this thread before I believe.

One boss.

The blueish, greenish dishwashersubstance coloured boss of Dead or Alive 4.

Clockwerk from Sly Cooper and the Thevious Racconus. It took me forever to beat the crocodile and then I gained momentum with the Panda, but by the time I reached the last stage of the game I just couldn't get it together. I've almost always beaten every boss I've ever taken on eventually even if it takes years.

Honorable Mention: I spent 7 years trying to beat the Crawler and Negator from Final Fantasy X, and finally succeeded in a run that saw me beat the game for the first time.

Goddamn, this ***** is just so unfair. It didn't even matter what difficulty you were on, she'll just teleport behind you and rip off half your health in one move.

And unlike most ultra-hard bosses, whom you only have to fight once and then it's over, you have to fight this damn thing every single bloody time you want to complete a storyline or unlock a costume.
