Holy crap, I've read less in all my days of school and college combined!

OT: I know someone just like OP describes. It resulted in being totally ignored by everyone to the point where he just got bored and fucked wondered off.

Generally, I feel that way about most people. Why won't they leave me the hell alone? Maybe I'm just a misanthrope or value "Me time" more than most, I dunno.

or maybe try asking him to tone it down a 'little', because it's a 'little' annoying?

I've got a friend like that, well I say friend but...you know. He literally shits out his mouth. I used to engage him and point out flaws in his arguements just for the pleasure of catching him out.
I found that just made those conversations longer so now whenever he starts to rant I just blankly nod along and the second he takes a breath I ask someone a question that can branch out into a normal conversation. It stops him monopolising our time.
But nowadays I'm in college and barely see him so as long as we keep our meetings brief and far apart I can just about tolerate him as a friend

I have a fellow on Live who irritates me, fucker asks me if I think I'm funny when I joke about and then proceeds to make jokes himself, I don't talk to him much anymore.
If there's one thing I hate more than a sour-faced ****, it's a hypocritical sour-faced **** who thinks he's above everyone else.

I hope I'm not a "dickhead friend", myself, though.
I like to pull out a mother joke here and there (oh, pull out, you so funny), try my best to make jokes, I'm an atheist and I'm told I point out the obvious sometimes.
I guess if I was a dickhead... people wouldn't talk to me, hmm...

I had a friend who used to be a major asshole luckily he's changed. He was racist as hell he couldn't go five minutes without saying the n-word. The worse part is we frequently hung out with my other friend at his house and he corrupted my other friend's younger siblings into using the n-word as a generic insult and he rewarded them for being racist fucks for instance they were playing L4D2 and my friend's little brother said "Whatever you do, don't pick Coach, he's a frekin' fat black guy!" and received a loud raucous laugh for it. Whenever I told him to just join the Klan already he told me "I'm Catholic I can't they hate Catholics!" he was so racist that I'm not even black and I was offended.

He regularly dished out unnecessary insults (much like you described with your friend,OP) he at one point drove one of my other friends TO TEARS he was so merciless with them and then he said sorry and promised never to do it again only to return to it the next day. He was super creative with them too "Oh I see you're about to sit down to a nice meal there, how'd you like if a big fat gay guy came all over it!" or "Oh so you're headed to your grandparents house have fun blowing your grandpa" stuff like that.

I remember I would join his XBL parties and he'd be a major asshole for instance when we were about to join a Team Snipers game in Halo "Just go hide in a corner don't do anything you'll ruin it". He also sucked the dicks of any and all MLGs

Magically though as soon as we entered High School he became about a million times more mature he stopped being racist and stopped insulting at random. He's a much better person now its a miracle.

I have a friend exactly like that. Thankfully he doesn't have my MSN, and doesn't have xbox live, either.

Of course we only see each other at my martial arts class, and he only goes on the day I don't, so I don't see him much anymore.

It puzzles me that you still call this person, of which you write in such utter discontent, a 'friend'. I don't know what is worse, actually, you writing this without giving him any indication that you think he is stupid, or his behaviour of which he probably isn't aware of.

I was sleeping in my bed last night. I received a prank call at about 12:30 AM. I said something along the lines of "Yeah sorry no I'm not interested" and then I hung up. They rang again so I mouthed off at them calling them retarded and stupid and such. Suddenly my 'friend' (who knows full well I need to work the next morning) comes on the phone and says "It was a harmless prank" and then tries to turn it around blaming me as the bad guy because I got upset.

Am I really in the wrong or has the world gone crazy? Fucking sick of his bullshit. This isn't the first time he has done this crap.
