I second this. I'm an atheist as well, and those people who senselessly bash religion just annoy the piss out of me.tellmeimaninja said:Stupid people are dumb.
Most anti-religion people blame religions for hating free thought. Then they go around calling people idiots for believing in religions. I'm an atheist, and I think the anti-religion atheists are just annoying.
Some people really do feel that they must tell everyone their views on religion because they think its more right than someone elses.Fniff said:Trolling, dude.
It's just trolling.
Agnostics and gnostics are two different things. Buddha's references to the gods may well have been multi-layered: As an example to the philosophical Buddhists and as a myth or sacred text to religious Buddhists. The Tao certainly reads this way. And I got everything I wanted and more by shaking my fist at the sky. I don't recommend it to everyone, tho'. Some of the more was a bit much...Burblesnot said:Argh! Religion is bad! Because it is! But it's also good! So it sucks as an arguement! But yeah...
Agnostics, or gnosticism, is not atheism at all, but is instead a belief in a rather broad philosophy system that includes the spiritual hierarchies of many major religions. Most gnostic texts are religious and concern the existence and matter of God, there are gnostic books in the bible, and a cornucopia of gnostic texts held by the roman catholic church as supplements to the bible.
Buddhists are not aesthetics either, as Buddha made reference and accounted to the ancient gods and ancestors of his culture. He also sat under a tree for 20 years and got people to cater to his every whim.
Religion for the most part can be spiritual, propaganda, simply a good way to do something productive and good, or a way to dump on other people for whatever it is you hate. You take from religion what you want. But don't go around shaking your fist at the sky and demanding some giant magic spirit prove his or her or it's existance to you, because really...what makes you so important?
Uhh, there are quite a few on PSN, but I only ever encounter them in MAG.Darktau said:Well I hear next to none of it on the other two systems, (even though I am still paying for XBL Gold -.-). I do realise it is everywhere thoughsquid5580 said:Right because this is just an XBL thing and not an internet thing. Good plan.Darktau said:And thats why I moved to PSN and Steam
EDIT: OT: Im Agnostic, but I rip it out of the "Anti-Religion gamer", as they are usually as dumb as my pet rock (Sorry rocky), so any form of logic and they shut up.![]()

If you're a Christian, imagine your people devoting their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. If you're a Muslim, imagine your people bowing toward Mecca and sending their prayers to the Great Allah. If you're an atheist named Dave, imagine that the little peons on the screen worship their Lord and Savior the Great Lord Dave. Imagine that their lives revolve around preparing for the Coming of the Great Dave to save them from the evil clutches of All That Which Is Not Dave. Whatever gets you through.

You may wish to use proper grammar and spelling before insulting anyone else's intellect.
