Fantastic games, storyline good, like the setting (Greek mythology has always been a favorite)and the combat is facking oresome!!!!! Its fluid and wonderful.

Darth Vader...or would it be Raphael from soul caliber ? both of them could kick ass of any final fantasy character , Darth Vader could wreck anyone though , or the main character of oblivion you can make him (or her ) destroy an entire city with a sword if you really wanted to.. Naw I'm sticking with Vader on this one plus he looks so intense! he could hold any of these other characters in place whilst he choke them and fighting off anyone else! yes Darth Vader (or any other Jedi type guy ) could own anyone in there way

I would have to say 'myself'( or the nameless protagonist depending how you look at it) in Oblivion. Simply because it's one of the few games that felt like I was in control when fighting with a melee weapon.

Cloud Strife. I like him, he's not the oh so predictable walking muscles guy with biceps bigger than your torso. Well...he was genetically modified to be as strong as hulking hero #547. When you can beat the shit out of so many guys with a sword bigger than you, even on a motorcycle, your bad ass in my books. Plus he just looks so cool *braces for fanboy accusations*.

Nothing is Cooler than the flourish and sheath, nothing...

I'm not gonna lie, that little feature is pretty goddamn cool. Twilight Princess Link probably has the biggest pair of testes of them all, and that "sword sheath o' dominance" illustrates that pretty nicely.

But I wanna look at some of the less-recognized swordsmen. Like Alucard from Symphony of the Night, who broke the mold of Castlevania's fascination with whips. Or Ramza from Final Fantasy Tactics, whose swordsmanship stuck with the basics (the Squire Job) while his friends and other characters developed flashy and exotic sword powers (Agrias and Delita's Holy Sword, Meliadoul's Unyielding Blade, Orlandu's everything).
