I'd say the bit in the original pokémon where professor oak came after you defeated the elite four... yeah professor oak came.

Mass Effect 1&2 endings,Dead Space.

One which really stands out for me is from Dragon Age:Origins when you romance Morrigan and choose to have the demon child with her.The cutscene where you feel the ring that she gave you pulsing meaning that she misses you was epic.

The ending of Oblivion where ...

...Akatosh blows open the roof of it's own temple and kills Mehrunes Dagon in the form of a flame-belching Dragon

The ending of Resident Evil 3 in which ...

...You find out Raccoon City was nuked so as to contain the Zombie Outbreak of Resident Evil 2. This also makes the survival of Clair and Leon from Resident Evil 2 seem slightly more epic

mass effect 2 had an epic cliffhanger!
god of war 2 also had an epic cliffhanger.
Not so much a cliffhanger as a lurch. "Now how in the hell will a third game work?" was all I could think at the time. Yay fifteen minute game.

I also liked how Fallout explained the ramifications of nearly everything you did. Mass effect 2 also ended nicely. For me at least but hey I managed to keep everyone alive. I would've been ticked if keeping them all wasn't an option. But it was so I'm contented.

The ending to Legend of Zelda:Links Awaking was great.

As much as i hated it and it made me emotional, it truly was a fitting and satisfying end to a great game.

My second is the ending Fire Emblem for the GBA.

I cried and applauded for all the characters.
it was a deep game.
That. Game. Was. Amazing. And you're right, the ending was awesome, learning what the characters did after the game. Too bad like half my people died...
That was one of the things i hated the most.
Camus, Jaffar, Matthew.....sigh.
Im gonna cry.....
And the music that played during the end game story's didnt help.

MW2. so, after staggering through the wreckage of a helicopter crash in the desert, you find the person you were trying to kill the whole time. right as you get close, he grabs you and slams you against a car. he stabs you in the chest with a knife as your teammate (Price is a BAMF)comes to save you. as they grapple, you pull the f***ing knife out of your chest and throw it straight into Sheperd's (the bad guy)skull. WIN!

The original Command & Conquer end scene for the Brotherhood of Nod (the only ending that matters) was amazing, considering how good it's graphics were in it's day.

"We've hacked into the GDI Ion Cannon controls! Pick a famous building to destroy..."
This!

Planescape Torment. Not particularly cool in itself, but the conclusion of each choice the player made and the whole arc were completely plausible, and that was quite impressive. Also that you can take it as serious storytelling (and I don't mean serious as in *makes a serious face*).

Protoss Campaign ending in StarCraft, it was simply epic. Blizzard knew how to end that campaign well. That or the ending cinematic for UT3.

GTA IV was pretty intense.
I mean, a lot of people are going to disagree, but that's because they never got into the game.
I really got into it, to the point where I started feeling emotions for the characters...
After you kill the last guy, which varies depending on which ending sequence you picked, the game simply ends, and leaves the simple question.
Did you really win?
And no, not you...Niko...
I was surprised when I sat through the all of the credits as they displayed Liberty City at its finest...
I even borrowed a boat off of Happiness island, then borrowed a car and drove around a bit, thinking of what just took place...
I enjoy a good happy ending, but it's the realistic endings that are always best...
