I'd like to see less catering to the console crowd for the PC version.

I'd like to see more skills, and support for coding more in via the mod editor.

I'd like to see more unique bosses and or creatures.

I'd like to see more variety in landscapes.

I'd like to see more variety in people and voices and scripted lines.

I'd like to see children, fat people, old people, teenagers, real life happening.

I'd like to see more reactive environments.

I'd like combat to be able to occur on horseback (or other-animal back if you prefer).

I'd like to see dual wielding.

I'd like to see fencing style (an open, or non-shield object in the second hand)

I'd like to see the ability for LAN play so we can have multiplayer. Being able to play with my buddies in an open world as a party would be nice.

Turn into a lycan!!! That would be soooo cool ^.^
They're called Werewolves, and they were in Bloodmoon. If the rumours about the next game taking place in Skyrim are accurate, then your wish might just be fulfilled... With Werebears as a bonus.

Fuck yeah, Werebears!
Lycan/Werewolf same thing

Just a couple of things from me:

- I'd like to have some of the size of Morrowind back. Oblivion, while big, was smaller in actual size than Morrowind I thought.
- Fighting on horseback. I was pretty sure that this was going to be one of the big new things in Oblivion but I was disappointed once I saw that you couldn't.
- Lastly I'd have to say bringing back levitation and making it necessary. I really liked it in Morrowind.
Yeah, I'm not sure Oblivion was actually smaller than Morrowind, it's just more that the "fast travel" AND "horse travel" made it seem soooo much smaller then it was. Though, I feel the same. I would rather have the FEEL of the big world back.
That is a good idea as long as they make the world interesting. If I were forced to walk all the way across the map to every destination in Oblivion, trudging through the endless and samey countryside, I would have said fuck this and played something else very early in the game.

Police would investigate crimes, motives, and evidence gathered, from footprints and eyewitness (or ear-witness) accounts to, perhaps, magical means, if necessary (so a high stealth guy can't cast invisibility and waltz into the king's chambers and get away free). The degree and importance of the crime combined with the prevailing societal situation and the kingdom's motivations would determine how far the police go. If a town is being terrorized, people will be more on guard and more likely to take magical or mechanical countermeasures. Guards with regular patrols would know who lives where to some degree and might note suspicious behavior.
If that comes in, and I don't see names like Vimes, Carrot, Visit, Nobby, Littlebottom, you name it plus the Brittish humor, I ain't playing it!

Anyway, I hated just 2 things: the soulless, repetative NPC's and the "hit someone with a foam baseball bat untill they die of a sudden heart attack" combat. Fix that, and I'm happy.

Yes Dwarves would be good, they always talk about dwarvs in the lore, and countles books, but how come we never see any?
Maybe you should actually read the lore you are always finding on the dwarves... Or play Morrowind since that is a minor part of the plot.

I'd love to have the game take place a long time after these past few have. Someone said steampunk but I'd rather have a more "realisticly" advanced Tamreil.

Well, I would say make the characters more unique, and not have like 6 voice actors for hundreds of people.

The load times were fine for me, although I played it on a PC so the load times took only about 1-5 seconds. It was probably longer on the consoles.

And I would like more interaction with the Imperial Legion, like being able to join them, like in Morrowind...

Plus, maybe forts occupied by the Imperial Army that get attacked every now and then, a small addition, but a sweet one.

And a bit more detail to the ruins/forts/mines/ect. would be nice.

I'm sure this has been said many times over, better voice acting!!

Seriously, Interplay/Black Isle could do it,Bioware can do it, EA can do it (kinda)so why can't this multi-million dollar company figure out that one or two high-profile actors cannot make up for the other 20 that suck.

I want to see them put in a far better and entertaining magic system, and fix the summons, so they don't get ticked off when you attack them, and so that they last longer. Also, I hope they put in Necromancy. I seriously want some fucking Necromancy..

Oh, and another thing, DON'T LET THE PC VERSION USE GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE!

And add an option to turn off fast travel, so people can stop bitching about it.
People who want it can turn it on, and people who don't can turn it off.

Well, I'd like to see more options for customizing your character. Maybe a height option, maybe a fitness/fatness deal based on what you do in the game.
More voice actors, more NPC variations,Maybe some area specific creatures.
More detail and variations in Forts and Ruins. Perhaps some more house modifications.
And like everyone else said, rare Armour actually being rare. Also, if you're going to make armour worth $15,000, make merchants who have a supply of cash close to that. Or make them earn or loose cash based on why we buy/sell from them.
And finally, a nice cliff area for me to stand and curse at the Gods when I fail.
There's a nice cliff area in oblivion, it's called dive rock, you'll find it if you just continuously go north from fort farragut (which is right near cheydenhal) Look it up for more info

Also, like Gavo said, make assassinating people easier, and actually getting into the place and getting to their sleeping beds without them waking up, harder.

Make the dungeons more variable and interesting. There were like 3 variations of dungeons: forts, ayelid ruins, and caves, and they were all kind of samey anyway.

Also, why are there so many ruined forts but barely any active ones? Soldiers are always talking about being stationed at forts, but they seem non-existent.

Fighting on horse back(both blade and blunt.Adding a one handed rider's war hammer and adding a lance, with archery.). it would make the horse armor useful.
add pole arms in the legions and townships' militias.

It would be interesting for a civil war and a Bolshevist-tic civil war and adding more of creating your own militia with the benefits and penalties on the actions taken.

I want a guild leadership system. I want to get quests to explore dungeons or w/e of varying difficulties and then you get to choose who to send to do it or you can do it yourself. Your members would level up and you would promote them once they do enough quests. You'd have to be careful tho because if the quest is too hard they die and you have to get a new recruit or promote someone to fill their spot.

I would like co-op with friends so me and two friends could make save files for a
group-esque kind of game or maybe bethesda could add an option to make it a group game so we could play together on it at the same time and couldnt use those if we werent all on and maybe they could add group quests? that way it would feel different then the single player game just with more people making it to easy and maybe a group instead of guild system and you could have rival groups that seems like it would work

what do you want to see?

The end of "what do you want in TESV?" topics.

DLC for PS3 owners.
