You know, I see those kinds of levels all the time in JRPG's (and some RPG's) but never once in Oblivion/Morrowind. Come to think of it, I DON'T like the idea of enemies becoming harder to match your level, I'd rather know that some places are too easy for me, and some places are WAY too hard for me.wordsmith said:Better leveling- Hell yeah. We need a "You're gonna get your ass handed to you if you go here now" area.
Yeah I know they could pretty easily fuck it up by being an MMORPG, but you did raise a good point: online parties? Maybe towns are open to everyone but everything outside is party-based? That or make the online completely party-based.wordsmith said:Spot the difference: MMORPG. No? The difference is one is full of idiots without typing capabilities, the other is a quick round or 4 with your mates. I personally WOULD appreciate online stuff in TES:V, but I would limit it to 8-16 players, you only play with your mates (no randoms. Friends of friends are ok though, providing the friend is in game).
Personally I'd rather get the opportunity to meet random people in-town. Either way, I would still loose my life to it.
