I can understand why xitel and fanboy got the thanks badge with the star, but RGP? How the bloody hell did he get it? Because i honestly doubt he deserves it. It's honestly way beyond me.

And before anyone starts, no, i'm not jealous.

Well, someone needed to have their name italicised, and who better than the one that confused me the most?

Mind you, at the time I didn't look into The Holiday Council, so I didn't realise that all their members had recieved the badge.

He's on the Holiday Council because he helped edit in holly. The Holiday Council was given Thanks badges. Hence, he got one.

But that's not what I'm asking; I'm asking why would someone single me out with an italic name. Why would you be more confused about me getting that badge instead of Galletea, or Gremlin.

Singling me out has a derogatory connotation to it.
Like it's implied that I've done something wrong or that I'm simply not "worthy" of a Thanks! badge.

What have I done to not earn it?

It's not a question of "what you've done to not earn it", but rather what you have done to earn it. This is just a shot in the dark here, but I'm guessing some people were wondering what your accomplishments and contributions actually are that warrant it. It could be tied to your post count in relation to join date, something you've said to offend them of any other number of personal or elitist reasons. Who the bloody hell knows.

At the end of the day, it doesn't even matter. It's just a 32x32 .png image that, in essence, lacks any kind of significant meaning. It's not worth debating over and it's not worth fighting over, and anyone that continues to do so has my pity that their existence is centered around something with such little value.

Also: If you just want to find a landmark badge, head over to WarCry, I've seen some over there.

You got almost suspended that one time; when all of my posts referring to it were deleted, and you told me that you'd been told 'not to talk about it' by the mods... I'm still intrigued as to what that was (if you even remember).
