Alright, I foresaw this. Problem is, he moved faster than I thought he would. :/ First step is to save Thinville. Bombard the northern Hoplites this turn. I'm fairly sure that Thinville can hold out long enough to get our army mobilized. If we lose Thinville, that's alright, because Alexander is a pushy cuntwagon, he'll try to take the next city between him and our capital. Thinville will have slowed him down enough that we can set up a defensive line between the two and let him break himself on our lines. Then we take Thinville back and sweep slowly forward. I don't remember, did we research Mathematics yet? If so, get a Catapult into production soon so that taking cities is easier. If we have Trebuchets, all the better. Move units slowly and in formation as much as you can.
If we hold Thinville, my points stand. Set up a formation (Wedge form: Longswordsmen run point, Mohawk Warriors to flank, Archers at the corners and the Catapult in between the Archers. If we get another Warrior, have him on rearguard duty, 2 hexes behind the catapult, ensuring nobody sneaks up behind it and pwns it.
Then, we crush him. We drive him before us and we hear the lamentation of his women.
In a quiet, subdued tone.
Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them, in the Halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live...forever.
