Aw, but the ludicrous mad "original" Yoda was cute.

I'm not sure when the game is actually set anyway. Before or after Revan? Or during her regency?
Cute as in Nibbler-Cute?

Well I can see what you mean, but his arrogance and "old wise master"-esque ways kinda cancel that out.

As for when the game takes place, about 300 years after KotOR at the end of the Great Galactic War and at the start of the Cold War between the True Sith Empire and the Republic. Gameplay-wise it's perfect for an MMO.

that's the reason why everyone was playing horde when WOW started.
It's gonna be balanced, i always dislike the sith because they can NEVER EVER work in the long run, they are just a bunch of selfish pricks who band together, much like Banks these days.
i also dislike the jedi because they are a bunch of zealous, religious snobs.
I will most likely roll republic trooper

If anything, just mashing attack button to whack enemies with a weapon that should be slicing them to tiny bits with each swipe is not my paticular idea of fun. If anything I would either go bounty hunter or a force based Jedi.

Let's face it, everyone is going to be Sith. We can either embrace this fact or fight a losing battle.

My personal plan to stop all the Sith roleplay will be my char Darth Fluffykittens.
That's half of the problem. The main problem is how everybody is going to be a Force-Wielder in general. For every 5 Jedi and Sith you see, you may see 1 or 2 Bounty Hunters. Same problem really, just 2 halves of the same coin.

Umm, did you see today's Question of the Day?

It proves you wrong.

I'll be be a bounty hunter if its like anything like the "Star Wars: Bounty Hunter" Game.
Mostly because 'll be able to snipe people of with lasers and you can have a Jet pack.

It could go either way. For example in WoW the goody-too-shoes alliance are the most popular because...I think because the Horde always look like they are hobos(with the exception of blood elfs.) However on WAR the Destruction massivly outnumber the good guys because the Destruction look bad-ass and theirs a ton of them so they win everything.(That game has a negative loop, you outnumber the enemy so you crush them in PvP, thus getting better items and making you stronger, then since the other side is always getting swarmed they switch. So the side with high numbers get stronger, and get more people.)

I remember a friend of mine saying that about World of Warcraft.

How the Horde would be the only side people would want to play, not enough people to keep it going. Look how that worked out

But there are tons of Star Wars fans that will want to live out every aspect of this game, and every part of being both Jedi AND Sith. Not to mention the people that prefer the idea of not being one of the superpowered force-users and being a Bounty Hunter or Trooper. I know that the Smuggler class is the most appealing to me. Not just because it sounds like a ton of fun- but because... Han Solo! Of course I'd want to be like Han Solo if I were to be in the Star Wars universe. Screw Jedi!

While I'm sure I'll dabble with all classes at some point, you can bet your ass I'm going Jedi first time around.

Oh, snugglepuff. Nibblonians are out of any cuteness scale.
I don't know, I actually liked the "wise master"-esque behavior. Especially the Old Trilogy one where he actually sounds a bit nuts but still wise.

So the setting is a while after Revan. Neat.

Really I'm looking at a poll on what class everyone is excited to play and Sith Inquisitor is ahead at 19.12% of the vote.

Also if you meant that they didn't have a massive majority in the poll your point isn't valid it only has about 13k votes, unless you think that is the extent of what the community will be on launch day?

I think it's fatal flaw is that it completely ignores the KoTOR series, KoTOR 2 especially. It's most glaringly obvious in the trailer when it talks about how Revan met the Sith Empire in the outer regions. Anyone who's played KoTOR 2 will know that that's bullshit because when you talk to Kreia about Revan, she says that Revan 'met no Sith Empire yet learned their teachings'. I just refuse to accept this one as canon, the same way I find that Star Trek Online's "plot" is just a contrived excuse to have you killing every red blip on sensors, no questions asked.
what if he met the sith after kotor 2? kreia knew they hadnt met yet but what if they met after

lol but why u mad?

seriously man, look at all the other comments nobody felt the need to insult anyone else, come back when you can have a civil discussion.
Mad, who said anything about mad? Buddy, I don't have time in my busy schedule to get mad at people making baseless comments when in the face of overwhelming and contradictory evidence. If you took offense that's entirely up to you. I was pointing out facts.

If and when I get the game, I will most likely start with the Jedi side, then if I feel like it, go again with either the Sith or the bounty hunters.

The fatal flaw of TOR is that it's set in the Old Republic. I don't think it's a particularly dynamic or interesting setting.
Really? I always thought it was interesting... and so much has been left alone that they can really get creative with the game.
