I could probably tell you the whole story up to Quantum and some trivia to boot.

Apart from the novels/manga anyway.

OK, I have a few questions then:

1) Is there a limit to the number of times someone can turn into a Heartless/Nobody?
2) Is Xehanort back to being a "regular" human being in KH3?
3) Where exactly are Terra, Aqua and Ventus at this point?
4) Are Nobodies gone for good once their original persona returns?
1) No idea, but since after turning into them you need to be killed/purified by a Keyblade, or your heartless needs to be purified by a Princess of Heart and your Nobody must come back willingly to become complete again, which is rather rare, I 'd expect not many people even get a second chance (although that's what Axel was trying to do to Sora in KH2 so Roxas would come back, so it is possible).
2) Xehanort is back as a normal human in DDD.
3) Aqua is still in the Realm of Darkness, Ven is still in Castle Oblivion, and Terra is a complete mystery.
4) Depends on the person, considering we know for a fact Roxas exists within Sora and will become his own person in KH3, while Axel, for example, is back to being Lea. And while he has all his memories of being Axel, the Nobody Axel is no more (unless it's being kept cryptic enough that it could be used as a loophole down the line).

I'm just gonna be upfront and say I don't really know entire histories and lores of games, but I would say that my best is likely knowledge on the tech behind the Crysis Nanosuit and N2. I'm also looking up more information about the Fallout power armors. I guess you could say I enjoy armor tech in games.

Probably 40k, due to the stupid amount of books I've read. Non-gaming it's probably Stargate.

For specific gaming examples, I know literally everything about FFX, and could easily perform a 100% perfect run, without missing any content, all in the speediest, most efficiant way possible.

Uhm its a toss up between Legacy of Kain, Halo and Star Wars (Does that count? The series started out as movies but it has a lot of games).
I'd go with Elder Scrolls as well but there are still some things I don't know about the lore.

Tomb Raider. Stop laughing :D

Seriously love the series, played the lesser known games too! The gameboy colour games, java cell phone games, and read the official tie in novels. At one point I was a talking walkthrough (back in the PS1 days) knowing the levels off by heart. Super pumped that Tomb Raider is back now!
It'd be interesting to know what you thought of the reboot then.

Pokemon, Pokemon, Pokemon. It's not exactly "knowledge" but I can gush about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon in specific for hours on end :V I'd also like to consider myself pretty knowledgeable about Fire Emblem and Kingdom Hearts, and I know a smattering of Metal Gear trivia despite having never played any of the games, but Pokemon is my really big one.

Transformers since I grew up with the show and all it's spin offs that when the last two games were made (War and fall of Cybertron) I knew what was going on and knew pretty much every character so it was quite enjoyable and the two became my favourite games of this generation.

Definitely Halo for me. Played all the games and read all the books, I even have the legendary editions of Halo 2, 3, and Reach, just for the extra lore materials. I used to also be a Bungie.net nut and would visit the website religiously, watching all the ViDocs. Though in recent years real life has taken over and can't be as damned to stay up to date. Not sure if there have been any new books released, can a fellow fan help me out? I believe the last one I read was the one about Sgt. Johnson (can't recall the title at the moment). Lol, these last few sentences kind of weakens my argument.
The one you're talking about is Contact Harvest, and there have been quite a few since that book came out - at least 5, what has been published from Greg Bear and Karen Traviss's respective trilogies (Cryptum, Primordium, and Silentium from the former, and Glasslands and The Thursday War from the latter) so far. Not sure when Contact Harvest was published, so Ghosts of Onyx (which Traviss's trilogy builds off from) might be more recent as well.

Devil May Cry and Shin Megami for me, I have played every DMC game to date (yeah I count DmC there too :p ) and I really enjoy them (even DMC 2 , people give that game wayy too much hate) . I have played Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne , Persona 3, Persona 4, Devil Survivor I and 2 ,Strange Journey and currently playing Shin Megami Tensei IV... Strange Journey is a really good same , same goes for the rest really and I am really enjoying SMTIV as well.

I porbably enjoy Shin Megami more because I feel that for the most part, most of the games nail the atmosphere down perfectly as well as the music. I've always found mythology very interesting and being able to recruit demons from different mythological settings has always tickled my fancy :) . And Lucifer is mostly interpreted in an interesting way (not really being an evil being per say, he's most like a realist, if that makes sense).

I would have to say a it a tie between Metal Gear, Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden.

I somehow know most of the characters, themes, weapons and such from Metal Gear, which is difficult with the amount of stuff Hideo Kojima has crammed into his games. Same can also be said about Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden, the amount of things I know about them is enough for me to say that they are the franchises I know the most.

The Elder Scrolls series. If you gave me some time to prepare, I could give an almost college-level lecture on Elder Scrolls lore. Though, if we're going into metaphysics there's only so far I can go before my brain begins to liquify.

The Legend of Zelda since it was a bit of a childhood obsession of mine. As such, I really immersed myself in the lore and world of the games growing up - playing them over countless times and reading up anything I could about them in Nintendo Power / Player's Guides / fan forums. I also have alot of my own thoughts on the series in regards to its place in the larger culture schema and the contexts that made the series so special and nostalgic for so many people.

I know way too much about Warhammer 40k (with this post a Black Ship of the Inquistion has been dispatched to deal with me
From what I read the Black Ships are only to capture and transport Psykers, or are you referring in general that typically the Holy Inquisitors usually choose black painted ships for transport? Yeah I know more than I admit I should about WH40k and Warhammer fantasy lol. Second is Star Wars and then the Command and Conquer universe.
Ah
you are absolutely right but I was simply labeling myself a Heretic Psyker indicated by the Malleus brand on my ankle (which in retrospect would be an awesome tattoo) just blew my cover a bit by posting XP
