depends on what you like. i would say "oblivion /thread" but if you don't RP well I can see why that wouldn"t be too appealing.

Most of the Elder Scroll Games, especially Morrowind.

Damn, that game is so blooming addictive. Just thinking about it makes me want to start again, maybe try for some different guilds.

Mass Effect I put countless hours and play throughs on as well as Metal Gear Solid 4. Those or possibly Red Dead I'm still not done with the game.

I'm gonna go ahead and say any of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.Oblivion and Morrowind 3 have great replayability as well.

Hack / Nethack. It's the only game I have regularly played for the past 20 years.

The other game with massive re-playability includes Disgaea. Going into the 'Item worlds' gives plenty of random generated levels.

Geometry Wars is a very nice retro game which has addictivly simple gameplay. But most of the really re-playable stuff would be Elder scrolls and Bioware games.

For me, definitely the first Mass Effect. The number of hours I spent in that game is a high three digit number.

Others that come to mind:

Oblivion
Other Bioware RPGs
Freelancer
Bloodlines
Any Fallout

At first, i'd say Borderlands. That game has more weapons combinations than germs in a petri dish, but it has close to no replay value.. play the story once, don't play it twice.

Try Sins of a Solar empire. Try 16 hours for 1 game, if you got a large enough galaxy to fuck around in..

This is all a matter of opinion. For me it's LoZ: OoT. I can replay that game over and over and over again and never grow tired of it.
I totally agree with you, it has been a long, long time since I played it (sister lost the cartridge x.x waiting for the 3DS version) but back in the day I played that game at least 30 times!

Creation games.
Minecraft (which has no end.)
Most Sandbox games.
Heavy RPGs with Karma like Fallout 3.
Puzzle games like World of Goo can be replayable when attempting to lessen the amount of goo ball you use.
