I just wanted to thank Demented Teddy.... You have answered a question I have suffered with for a very long time!
I guess that sweeping statement could get me in hot water, it wasn't intended.Velvo said:Wait, so because you're Christian it means you don't think it's right to stare? I don't know if that's explicitly covered in the Bible or anything, but okay. I'm sorry, but as (mostly) an atheist I find that rather offensive.Ossian said:I kept my cool and looked away (I'm christian and don't really think it is right to stare)
I'm sure that wasn't your intent and I know I'm being a mite petty for bringing it up, but please don't assume that having good morals is restricted to Christians or even to religious people. You looked away because you're a good person, not cause you're Christian. I know plenty of Christians who would ogle that girl till her chest took to flame.
I gotcha. No problems! I pretty much got that when I read it, I just thought I'd contend that point.Ossian said:I guess that sweeping statement could get me in hot water, it wasn't intended.Velvo said:Wait, so because you're Christian it means you don't think it's right to stare? The reason I made that statement is because if I just said I don't think it is right people would ask my morals behind it, I thought I'd just state christian and most people would get why. Again was't a poke at non christians, just covering bases in my initial discription.
My friend, we've all had those experiences. Though I'm not really the person to go to for dating advice, may I suggest being funny. If you can make her laugh you're in, or so I've been told.Ossian said:Hi all, still sort of new here I know but I had something happen too me the other day and I was wondering if anyone else shared my experience... well I already know everyone probably has, but I wanted people to share their thoughts.
So I was in summer A humanities and was having a good time (I actually like school..) and I that the girl next to me was also in my psych class, so I asked her and we laughed about the other teacher, anyways I hadn't really looked at her too much except her face and maybe a casual glance. So she was sitting next to me and the teacher is going on about mythology when suddenly she stretched her arms above her head, arms back, chest forward... I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head, I felt like the guy from raiders of the lost ark that face melted... I kept my cool and looked away (I'm christian and don't really think it is right to stare)
The rest of the class I had complete mush brains, [http://www.thelondonpaper.com/thelondonpaper/news/london/news/researchers-talking-to-women-makes-men-thick] I was just utterly freaked out by the experience because I hadn't really had this happen before (Homeschooled) Now I have to sit next to her in class for the rest of the term (NOT COMPLAINING) but I find myself severely distracted in class at times.
Who else has this happened to? Discuss.
(PS if anyone has tips on how a tall, skinny, shy guy could go about befriending this lady, would be nice... =D)
Well, yeah. You're demisexual. That's a condition. So is being sexual. Or asexual.Demented Teddy said:So...I have a condition?
you say that like its a bad quality, well, shyness is, but I can tell from experience, girls prefer skinny and tall. They really don't like fat.Ossian said:tall, skinny, shy guy
As a girl, i think this is a good strategyWorgen said:next time she does it, suddenly stand up point at her and yell as loud as you can "I wanna be inside you!!!!!!!" if she doesnt run away screaming then it was meant to be
You're just mentally evolved that way. Us straight teenage males are usually quite hypnotized by boobs.Actually.
Demisexuals can be attracted to both sexes.
As I stated it's not about the body, it's about our emotional bond.
see, its girl approved, DOOOOO EEEETLineoutt said:As a girl, i think this is a good strategyWorgen said:next time she does it, suddenly stand up point at her and yell as loud as you can "I wanna be inside you!!!!!!!" if she doesnt run away screaming then it was meant to be
Heh, this story made me laugh.Ossian said:(PS if anyone has tips on how a tall, skinny, shy guy could go about befriending this lady, would be nice... =D)
Lol... I like this kid. There you go..... confidence.Ossian said:Female I take it? if that is the case you just possibly cannot understand. And It isn't JUST her chest that fried my optics.Demented Teddy said:They're breasts.
Get over it. -_-
If your a dude... You should be ashamed of yourself, or I should admire your gift.

Yup, that's what I was going to say. Didn't he also theorize that every man was in some way sexually attracted to his own mother? Ewww...AsthmaticPsycho said:Freud is also renowned for creating fanciful theories based solely on his own beliefs, with no possible way to verify thembad rider said:Actually according freud we are mostly driven by sex.Demented Teddy said:Pimppeter2 said:A bit off topic, but I don't get why people say things like "breasts are over sexualized in western society. Maybe if people weren't so afraid of the human body and saw it as a natural thing, rather than a sexual thing, it wouldn't be a problem."
I'm sorry, but who doesn't want to sexualize breasts?
I mean, life would suck if every time I saw a naked girl I was like "meh, its a natural thing"
Seriously people! We agree on something for once.
However, you have to admit that people that focus completely on sex are well...not nice...I can't think of a word to describe it.
"Freud is also renowned for his redefinition of sexual desire as the primary motivational energy of human life," - quote from his wikipedia page
Sorry, studying psychology, had to be said
