You make me sad as well. I sincerely hope that you do not kick me in the dick, but if you do, I will not try to hurt you or take revenge on you because I am a stronger person than that. I can't imagine that making posts such as that would make someone feel happy, but if it somehow increased your sense of self-worth to imagine inflicting pain on a group of people that mean you no harm, so be it. I gotta say, if I were Luke Allen, the fella in the pic below, I would be pissed at the brony community. This guy went out and on record in an interview standing up for the bronies and put his face out there as a proud brony and the brony community can't distance themselves far enough away from that poor bastard. They get out there spouting off about love and understanding and tolerance but as soon as someone brings up ole Luke into the conversation you'd think that the person in question just called all bronies something beyond horrible. Tolerance, Love and Understanding go right out the window as soon as he's brought up.

Hell I brought him up in this thread and one of em went straight for the Hitler card. Where's the community when it comes to standing up for ole Luke, a proud member of their community? You don't see a single one of em say "Yeah that's a member of our community and we are proud to have him". Quite the contrary. They get away from him like roaches scattering from light. I guess tolerance and understanding are all well and good just as long as you don't make the mistake of standing up for the brony community and take a somewhat unfortunate picture.

Very well put together sentence, congrats. Everybody has to come out swinging because their little ponies are in trouble. Now calling me 12 is a nice touch but it makes you look like a moron. You went out of your way to make fun of me for making fun of a kids show that deals with ponies. Say starting today, go get laid, maybe start a new job, come back to me. Obviously people who are opposed to the show in the first place are going to continue to ignore pony updates as usual, and bronies are all fully aware of everything that is going on anyway. If anything, this is a troll thread to see what reactions people have regarding it, and I can't say how many similar threads I've seen on the Escapist.

Again, as a fan, I ask bronies to stick to their own websites, groups and blogs for updates, and I ask non-bronies to not make a big deal out of the show, the more hate that goes around simply generates more curiosity.

I would attempt to understand what this phenomena is all about, but talking with a "bronie" is extremely one-sided and about as useful as smashing your head into a wall.

Its just legitemately well made cartoon. The animation is fantastic and the writing is good. Unlike the old generations of this show which were GODAWFUL

I feel obligated to do this, as both a 'Brony' and somewhat on the opposite side of the fence, a person that never wants to hear the word 'Pony' ever again...

I've already started building a shelter. Hell, as someone who likes the show, I won't be watching until it finishes Syndicating. Though I won't be too surprised if Season 2 throws other, equally good (if not better) shows like Transformers Prime into derailment.

Honestly, poor old Luke is both. Sure the guy reeks of being creepy and I wouldn't be surprised a bit if you told me he had a rape dungeon and a collection of human skin. Hell, I'd be shocked if you told me he didn't have those things quite honestly. However, despite all that he still went and stuck his neck out for the lot of you.

Now let's be painfully honest, public perception of grown men who not only watch, but gather online to discuss a show aimed at preteen girls is probably just a small step above the public perception of the fellas that have windowless vans and hang out around elementary schools with puppies and free candy. Yet Luke still went on record doing his best to make you guys seem just a little less creepy.

Sure he's about as far from an ideal candidate as you could want for the face of your little community but at least he tried. He did his damndest to stick up for you guys and attempt to explain what bronies were all about. I'm not saying he came off well or even had any luck making you seem less creepy but he did try.

There is no shortage of people that can line up and take pot shot after pot shot at that poor bastard but any member of the brony community I would expect to be the last type of person to do so. People in glass houses and all. I mean come on, you fellas are grown men that group together to discuss how much you just love and adore a little girls' show. You should be on your hands and knees thanking whatever god(s) you believe in that there is anyone even sticking up for you at all.
