The internet is for porn, face it kid.

Also the OP must not realize that the government created the interwebz to better communicate during times of war. And he also must think those anti war protests did jack to stop bush from starting his little war.

Search any word, any person, and I guarentee there is some relation to porn on that search. Porn and find that porn has connections to everything and owns a major share of the internet.

You just have to realize there's more to the net then search engines.

The internet, tells me how to make waffles, it has pictures of kittens, meaningless videos, AND porn!???

I use it for looking up information, talking with people, games, etc... Never saw what was so great for porn, and was kind of disgusted when I learned that someone that sat by me in one of my classes just recently found out that there is a use for the internet besides porn...

I feel the same way when I hear that too.

heres the problem though... Without search engines, how much content would people be able to readily access? Porn monopolized the search engine game and pretty much can claim ownership due to the industry owning a good 70% of interwebz space.

Besides.. everyone knows Avenue Q would never lie!

Im not 100% sure the internet is for anything but porn. I think everything else is just kind of a side interest. Hell you type in anything you are most likely going to get porn. I was looking up power plants in school one time and I ended up getting pokemon porn. Although I think it was something like "misty inserting electrode on her power plant adventure" But still.

Oh yes. I'm just saying, that he shouldn't stick around those because of course he'll find porn. I'm saying that they are not the only thing and that they are a link to many facts. It's those facts I'm concerned about.

I tend not to try "feeling" too much about humanity, it would only make me severely depressed.

Mankind in general has just been a downward spiral in depravity. The sooner we become extinct, the better. And the internet won't solve shit. It's fairly obvious that mankind is completely unable, nay incapable of learning from past mistakes, so it doesn't really matter if half the world has access to pretty much all gathered knowledge...
