"Tales of Vesperia" was pretty hot, until I got tired of the battle system. And its been a few months, so I'll head back and finish it up soon, now that the battle system feels fresh again.

Persona 4

Taking what they did with Persona 3 and making it camp and funny, the cast of characters is what makes it so compelling.

Lost Odyssey although I'm thinking of picking up my Final Fantasy I again. I love using a black mage.

The Final Fantasy series is slowly dying for me, since XII sucked so hard, and it looks like XIII is going to follow in its footsteps, but VII, VIII, and X are great games.

To this day, my favorite game of all time, and obvious JRPG game, since it is one, is Tales of Symphonia. Great story, GREAT battle system, good play-length, and extremely underrated. My only complaints are that Lloyd and Colette are complete douche bags.

pokemon red/bue (I was young, no longer fun) and zelda ocarina of time (timeless classic).

I hate JRPG's generally they make me sick.

I enjoyed Blue Dragon quite a bit. Kingdom Hearts was fun too. Before that probably FF6 (or 3 if you're into US numbering).

Tales of Vesperia

Sure the story takes a turn for the bland halfway through the game, but the cast you play with is so interesting and fun that I didn't really care. Plus they all grow to be so blatantly overpowered that fighting keeps getting more fun with more skills.

Plus it makes some Gurren Lagann references with Karol's weapons (and I suppose his whole development too), and what's not to like about that

I highly recommend it, and yes, I am a Tales Fanboy.

None, there hasn't been a single one. Not because i'm not open minded but because it all falls into the same formula. I do like some anime, there just haven't been any good games for the anime I like.

Valkyria Chronicles is hands down the best JRPG I have played lately and probably one of the best of all time. Definitely worthy of a sequel; can't wait to check out the anime series!
