I got a lot of enjoyment out of The World Ends With You, and it is the last JRPG I played, so that. If Valkyria Chronicles counts as a JRPG, then certainly that, but it seems more like a mish-mash of genres that manages to pull it off wonderfully.

The World Ends With You on the DS. Not a traditional JRPG, but then I'm not much of a fan of the genre.

Valkyria Chronicles isn't really an RPG, J or not, but since someone else mentioned it I'll just say it's an awesome game.

PS2 - Final Fantasy XII. Or rather, I enjoyed finally getting to the flippin' end.
Persona 4.

DS - I also liked the horror game Nanashi no Geemu (The Game With No Name), even though I haven't finished it yet--I stopped in frustration after getting my head eaten by a ghost one room away from getting out, and know it's been so long I'll have to start all over from the beginning.
FF3.

PSP - Crisis Core

I'm also playing FF7 now and liking it, and this is actually my first time playing through it, since I didn't get into gaming until recently. I'm playing catch-up, big time.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2 were both amazing, a rare treasure in the sea of repetitive mediocrity that comprises the jrpg genre. I've heard rumors that a Golden Sun 3 is in the works. I'm all for it, but I just hope that they don't take it too far...

The last one I played through to the end? Eternal Sonata

Now it's debatable whether I liked it or not. Honestly, the last JRPG I played all the way through where I found myself actually engaged in the characters and the story was probably Final Fantasy X-2 or the original Kingdom Hearts (KH2 just seemed a little too abstract for my personal tastes).

The FF where you played the little monkey boy with the tail. Don't remember the number.
That's FF9, I believe! I liked that one a lot, too!

Rogue Galaxy.

Then I gave my PS2 to a friend...

I did get Lost Odyssey, but haven't bothered with it yet due to size issues when it comes to its in-game text.

Honestly, I haven't found one yet that I really liked. I tolerated FF II (or was it III, I no longer recall), but it was a christmas gift and the crippling lack of income as a child can lead one down strange paths.

to stay on topic, um, yeah, the star ocean series has gotta be the absolute number one greatest JRPG franchise. Although I hear Popolocrois sticks to the genre so well, it actually freaks some people out. I'll admit the reason why jrpgs are my favorite is because of the love stories between the characters. its really hard to play a jrpg (like star ocean/valkyria chronicles) without finding the love story that keeps me so motivated to keep playing, and i have no idea if anyone feels the same way i do about that.

Golden Sun (1 and 2) for the GBA. For some reasons I can't bare JRPG's on the console, the last one I tried was Enchanted Arms but it plaaaayed sooooo slooooow, I can't stand that on the console, but I'm cool with that when it's on a handheld.
