Hogan merely laughed at Bannog's remark. When he emptied the
jar of Blue Fire onto the Goron's iron hide, there was the brief sound of fire crackling followed by the sound of ice crackling. The Blue Fire quickly solidified against Hogan and left
a large, frozen blue stain on his chest.
He seemed unimpressed and continued to laugh.
"No, I'm not half the warrior Ganon was. I'm twice the terror!" Hogan reached out, grabbing hold of Bannog's spear by the tip. He yanked it hard and dragged the spear's wielder forward as well.
"My turn!" he said, before grabbing Bannog with his other hand. He gripped the Blin with tremendous strength and flung him aside, sending him crashing through the window of a nearby store.
Then came the magic. Hogan again lifted one of his arms to block the trio of energy beams, which again caused his arm to glow bright with molten heat and prompting him to grunt in pain. Meanwhile, Ingo's dual ice and shadow bolts struck against Hogan's chest from the other side. A loud
cracking was heard.
Hogan lowered his burning arm. He held Bannog's spear with the other and sent it flying towards Mothula. The spear struck the monster dead in the eye, sinking in deep. Hogan bellowed triumphantly.
"Oh yeah! That's a tournament-winning javelin toss right there!"
The metal Goron walked forward. He grabbed Rio, lifting the poor boy and holding him by his feet.
"Now I'm going to show you a tournament-winning wrestling move, brother!" Hogan gripped the Zora with both hands. Then he lifted Rio over his head and began spinning him, round and round, for longer than was probably necessary. In the distance, there was a sudden
flash of light and a clicking noise. Apparently someone among the crowds had decided to take a pictograph.
Hogan eventually stopped spinning Rio. He then wrapped both his arms around the boy's stomach, fell back and delivered a brutal backdrop. Rio's head slammed against the ground and his body went limp. Hogan pulled himself back up and raised his arms in a victorious pose. There were mummers and plenty of boos from the audience.
"So much for false bravado! Let this be a lesson - an inkling of courage can never stand up against true power!" Hogan pointed an iron finger at Sorti and Hyoko, who were among the few still standing.
"And to you, my little hero-wannabes! You better say your prayers and take your potions! Because you're going to need both if you're even going to dream of beating I..." Hogan began beating his fists against his chest.
"The mighty, the indomitable Ho-"
Chunks of Hogan's armoured skin began falling off. As his powerful fists bashed against his chest they cracked the Blue Fire's ice and the brittle iron that it had frozen over. Hogan stopped mid-sentence and started down, an expression of shock likely hidden behind his mask, as he saw the rocky Goron flesh of his torso exposed.
"...that isn't good." He lifted his head back up to face his opponents.
"Perhaps it's time to hurry this match along then?"
Hogan fell, seemingly sitting himself against the ground. But then he leaned forward and curled himself into a ball. It didn't take long for the Goron to commence rolling down the street, quickly advancing towards Sorti and Hyoko.

The black-haired Hylian who helped Erryn up cocked a brow. "Rope? I don't think any of us got that." he said. He turned his head and called out to one of his fellow mercenaries. "Hey Davis, ya got any rope?"
Davis, the blonde-haired Hylian, seemed to scoff. "Not that I'm handing out for free." Meanwhile his hands searched through the unconscious Valentine's pockets, looting anything of value.
The other turned back to Erryn and shrugged. "Well, there's your answer I guess. I remember seeing some hemp bundles back at the market but..." His eyes narrowed as he focused on the crowd gathered by the market. His ears twitched a little as the sounds of battle rang out. "The heck is going on there? Some sort of ruckus, for sure. I'm going to check it out."
The Moblin turned to face Ragnar as he spoke. He rubbed his chin as he eyed the orange rupee. Eventually he spoke. "Ya clearly got lots a rupees on ya scales. How 'bout ya get me some more of dem orange ones? Or silvas even. Then I'll give ya both of dese shiny bracelets."
"Why don't you give them over to me Stonk? I could make better use of them than you." Davis chimed in.
The Moblin shook his head. "Naw, I like da shinies."
"Oh come on! I know that you don't know
artificing. You can't make use of those things."
"...dey still look nice on me."
"Oh wow! Now that's a sight." said the Bokoblin. He was facing the fountain's north, in the direction of the castle. Soon so were the rest of his companions. A swarm of Dinolfos seemed to be fleeing from a force of armed Hylians. Leading the latter was the easily-recognizable
Commander Sigrid, who was roaring commands as beams lashed out from her sword.
Some of the Dinolfos disappeared into alleys, while others started charging in the direction of the
Eldin Gate. Among the latter group was an Aeralfos who had climbed off the rooftops and was walking alongside his ground-bound brethren, a bow in hand.
While a most of the Hylian Guard gave the Dinolfos chase, Sigrid herself took another action. She stopped shouting commands for a moment as she noticed several odd things about the fountain. Among them were missing
Spiritual Stones, several thuggish-looking people gathered around an injured unconscious man and an albino Dinolfos.
Sigrid waved her hands in some military gesture as she issued a new command. She and her personal squad of Knights began advancing rapidly towards the fountain, their weapons ready and their attention focused on the party of rag-tags standing about.
