Hogan missed his marks, Softi having lifted Hyoko to safety. The crowd which had gathered behind them quickly dispersed as the metal Goron kept on rolling. The only person still in his path was a black-haired Hylian. His eyes went wide as he saw Hogan rolling towards him.
Before the mercenary could react though, Hogan came to a grinding halt. Some of Mothula's projectile Morths had landed on Hogan, sticking to his hide and helping to slow him down. Most of the Morths were scattered amongst the crowd though. There were cries of "What the heck?!" as people tried yanking the harmless creatures off their clothes. When Ingo's ice bolt hit Hogan, the Goron stopped completely.
This was only a temporary setback though. "Bwahaha! Fools! Do you honestly think such puny tricks can ensnare I, the might Hogan?!" he bellowed. Metal spikes then expanded from Hogan's hide, skewering the Morths and shattering the ice. However the sudden expansions combined with the damage from Ingo's bolts caused more chunks of steel to break away.
"Oh yeah, brother!" Hogan resumed rolling, his spikes tearing up the ground. "You can't stop the rock!" As if on cue, the Goron was immediately stopped again. This time by an explosion. The black-haired mercenary had readied a bomb while Hogan was stuck in place, which detonated after being thrown in his path.
Hogan he roared in pain as he veered off course. He narrowly missed the Hylian and instead crashed into a nearby building. The wall collapsed as Hogan rolled into it, debris crashing down and burying him. Dust filled the air and the Goron stopped moving.
"Hmph. Don't see that everyday..." the mercenary muttered. He walked over to the rubble pile where Hogan lay. "Well, looks like he got knocked out co-" A fist rose from the rubble, slamming into the Hylian and sending him flying across the street. Hogan rose up, freeing himself of debris. His armour had almost fallen off completely.
He roared in anger and grabbed onto the Mask of Steel. After a bone-crackling noise and a few hard yanks the mask came off. Hogan tossed it aside and continued to bellow. "I DON'T NEED A MASK TO KILL YOU IMPUDENT WHELPS! I WANT TO FEEL YOUR BLOOD AGAINST MY SKIN WHEN I CRUSH YOU!" Hogan picked up chunks of debris and flung them at Sorti and Ingo, a pair of rocks headed both their ways. After that he saw Erryn's crew members as they came his way. The Goron turned and roared as he charged towards them, with surprising speed in his berserker fit.

Stonk grinned toothily at Erryn. "Ye, maybe we could. Maybe ya could buy 'em fer yourself. I'm thinkin' dat ya gonna all da help ya can get to beat Captain Dagon!" he said before chuckling. He then turned to Ragnar and offered a shrug. "If dat's all ya got, then we ain't got no business to discuss."
The attention of Stonk and the rest of his fellow mercenary quickly returned to the Hylian soldiers. They had surrounded the fountain in a circle with weapons at the ready. Commander Sigrid approached the group of ragtags with her a pair of knightly guard, her longsword and a terrifying look on her face. She was shooting daggers at Ragnar in particular, although her anger found a new target as she spied the glimmer of the Zora Sapphire. Her anger dissipated slightly, only slightly, as she noticed Erryn holding it. Sigrid's glare seemed to soften and her teeth unclenched as she stepped forward.
"You are going to hand that over." she said. She spoke with a cold tone. "Then you are coming to the Castle for questioning. All of you." Her eyes wandered over the group until they found Ragnar. "Especially you, lizard."
As the other Hylian soliders closed in, presumably to seize the group, the sound of an explosion was heard. Everyone attention turned to the source of the noise in time to see Hogan crash into a nearby building, rise from the rubble and punch the black-haired mercenary across the street before bellowing death threats and throwing himself at Erryn's crew.
"...On second thought, we're going to deal with this first." Sigrid said. She turned to her soldiers and gestured her hands. Half of them followed while the other hand remained in a semicircle around the fountain. The mercenaries rushed towards Hogan as well after seeing him pummel their companion.
Meanwhile the Dinolfos and their pursuers had escaped from the sight, the vast majority of the former rushing out through the Eldin Gate.

The Bokoblin started cackling again as Lynd started shouting at the top of his lungs. "Ooooh yes! This gonna be good!" He drew his machetes again and met Lynd's charge with one of his own. This time the Blin began spinning around, his weapons extended outwards. He came at the guardsman like a whirlwind of blades. He continued laughing wildly as his machetes lashed out at Lynd with great speed and power.
A hand grabbed Ro's shoulder from behind. "Move, Barron." said a male voice. A red-haired Gerduo was standing behind him with bow. Prince Shah drew an arrow, nocked it and loosed in what seemed like a single action. The arrow flew into the melee, narrowly missing Lynd and instead planting itself in the left shoulder of the Bokoblin. The creature grunted in pain and halted his assault on Lynd.

Beyond the Lanayru Gate, one could see a pair of dark figures moving along the green outskirts of Castle Town. While his hooded companion rode on horseback, Vaati simply levitated through the air. The both of them covered ground quickly and with matching speeds. They eventually came to a stop at a rocky outcrop, moving behind it as though attempting to hide themselves from Castle Town's sight.
The rider pulled down his hood, revealing himself to be a middle-aged Hylian with long brown hair, a pair of ear piercings and arcane-looking tattoos on his face. Vaati remained with his bat-like, cyclopean helmet on. The two looked around to make sure the coast was clear before facing each other.
"Where's Fahrd?" the mounted sorcerer asked.
"I sent Marin his way. He likely started off after receiving her." Vaati replied.
"He must have covered some distance. I can't see him anywhere. Maybe he used sorcery to speed himself up..."
"I certainly hope not. The both of you would do best to ration your magic, Kahrd. We'll be needing it for the journey back to Gale Island."
"After that attack, I imagine getting out of Hyrule will prove a difficult task."
"Yes...especially after that scene back in the marketplace. I'm fairly certain that half the city saw my face back there. And I owe it all to some stupid, ignorant Rito child..." Vaati muttered then shook his head. "Still, eluding any guards and getting through the Hylian docks is hardly beyond Wizzrobes of our calibre."
Vaati and his Kahrd turned to face Castle Town once again. Smoke billowed from the city and rose to mix with the dark clouds looming above. "The storm has come." Vaati said, turning back to his accomplice. "We've been idle for too long. Come, let's hurry north and catch up with your brother."
Kahrd bowed his head, before sliding his hood over it once more. "Yes, Lord Vaati." And then they were off. The two sorcerers resumed their trek across Hyrule Field with staggering speed.
All the while, they had remained unaware of the hidden Bokoblin who had overheard their entire conversation by the rocky outcrop.
