The group, now with lit torches, proceeded into the cave.

As the last person entered the cave, stone slabs slammed together behind them, closing the entrance.

The cave is wide enough for two and a half men to walk abreast.

There is a two-way split in front of the party, one to the left and one to the right.

Sorry for that, but I've seen one too many forum RP stall and die like this. I wanted you boys in the there so it wouldn't all be discussion of nose-picking techniques that would bore us all to death.

Both paths offer excitement, tests and surprises. Choose wisely.

" Alright we will decide our route with careful thought and mind numbing delegation." Miffy said sarcastically as he reached into his pack and pick out his lucky coin, he flipped in the air caught it and look at it under the torch light.
" Alright lets go right."

Artemis winces, almost imperceptibly, as the door slides shut but is bolstered by the confidence of the group he is traveling with. After Wiffy's careful decision to take the path on the right Artemis holds his torch out to the left and looks down the tunnel.

"Well let's get moving so we can get back under the sun."

The party, electing to go right on the luck of the draw, rounds a corner to see another corner to the left. Natural progression leads them to take a left. They now look down a straight path to another left turn.

You notice that on the right side of the hall, there is a patch about the width of the hall sideways (two men abreast) that could not naturally support itself. You can investigate

"There's something strange about this corridor," Bildin said, pulling his torch out of his bag as he, with the wisdom of a newborn infant, ran over to it as quickly as possible.

I wonder if my survival skill combined with my earth staff will come in handy here.

Last in the line, Sisk carves a small arrow into the rock as they head down the right hand passage. Feeling slightly apprehensive knowing that the exit behind them is closed, and they were already warned the only other entrance was infested with imps, Sisk jogs to catch up with the rest of the group, who are busy investigating a section of cave wall. "Perhaps it is sealed over." He suggests. "We may be able to break through to the other side."

Sorry. Got distracted part way through typing this a missed everything.

Sisk sat down on a rock as the remaining members made their way up to the cave entrance. A wood elf was busying himself making some torches. He checked and doubled checked his potion jars. A several health and mana potions he had made the night before were carefully packed in a belt pouch that was at hand. Figuring someone would need them before too long. As he was checking his gear, he was troubled by the small gnome. He kept looking nervously out of the corner of his eye at him.

The gnome asked who was going in first. Sisk replied "I should think him." Nodding to the brawny norse fellow waiting a little ways down the hill. "Mages in the back, we can't afford to lose either of us." As a gesture of goodwill, Sisk dug into his pack and pulled out a reserve mana potion. He tossed it to the gnome, who caught it in the tips of his fingers. "Hopefully you won't be needing that too soon... but just in case." Sisk tried to give him a friendly smile, but the tusks didn't make it any easier. He just hoped he wouldn't have any trouble with the little mage. Mages in groups always spelled disaster.

On the note of making torches - Are there any non-combat spells. Such as to make light or charm/mindread NPCs?

Also. Am I the designated party healer? if so - should I quickly swap a skill to healing magic? Or will we be okay?

That it may ;)

Yes, there are but you have to pursue that type of Magic, which you'll be able to a bit after this dungeon.

For the last one sure, but I don't feel you've been labeled and I won't make it impossible to get through or anything.

IC:
Upon investigating, signs seem to indicate one could get through this wall into another corridor. It may only be as deep as five or so inches.

Sisk walks up to the wall, gives it a slight push. "Might as well try." he shrugs. "Lend me a hand" he says to the Nord. Together they leverage their weight and muscle against the strange wall. Grunting with effort, their feet slipping along the dusty floor the wall makes a strange noise and...

While they worked Miffy checked further down the corridor that went to the left of where they where, lifting his torch to see as far as he could.

As Miffy rounded the corner to the left, the walls on either side of the hall began to rumble and move inward. That left Miffy only enough time to get down the hall to a door he could see at the end, or turn back.

Sisk and Njord successfully uncovered the hidden path, where they could see stone walls and a turn to the left.

JUST found, for the first time in perhaps years, the manual to Neverwinter Nights Platinum edition! I'm sorry I just have to go play it!! I'll be back guys.

Captainguy42, if you choose to separate you'd best be ready for some balls-to-walls action to stay alive until you re-group.

I'll be back in a bit!

Miffy ran down the hall avoiding the walls, he turned around and looked at the closed entrance.
"Alright, guess I'll see you guy's later." He mumbled to himself.
He began to sneak to the door and put a ear to it to see if he could hear anything on the other side.

Ah yes NWN, I understand.
I have a few questions...
1. Should I underline or bold my actions like I did above?

2. Do I have a bonus to seeing in the dark as a Wood Elf or a Rogue?

3. My hand-to-hand is it just brawling or more like martial arts, and in what ways is it better that just using a weapon?

Bildin, watching as the party's burlier members wrestled the wall, began to wonder where the rogue had gone. Typical thief, vanishing at the first sign of danger. He checked his pack, just to make sure that the elf hadn't swiped anything. Rummaging through it in a way that would make any outsider exceedingly confused, my pushed his whole right arm into the small bag and began shifting through its contents.

Nothing missing, he closed the bag up again and looked at the troll. Bildin couldn't understand that troll. First he'd thrown a neon blue, bubbling mana potion at Bildin, then proceeded to give him the most puzzling scowl he'd seen in a while. Bildin didn't think that the potion was poisonous, and he really didn't want to find out. Sighing, Bildin reached his hand under his hat and scratched his head. This definitely isn't going to be easy.

Mordereth, I just read your icon and have to say that it's absolutely awesome. Just saying.

Siskan picks himself up from amid the rubble of the sealed passageway, dusting himself off. Only to hear an even louder crash from down the left hand passageway. He looks in to see it filled with rubble. "Did anyone see where Miffy went?" he asks.

"The elf? He scampered off down some corridor while we were pushing this wall down." Njord said as he check his vest for any holes or scratches
"If he doesn't die he just might find something useful, but if he was running off and backstabbing us I'll put my fist through his skull if we ever see him again"

"We might be able to get to the other side of this collapse if we go back and take the left fork at the entrance. Or we can find out where this sealed passage leads." Sisk said. "Suggestions anyone?"

"I say we go down the passage, I'm not going to have wasted my time pushing down the wall or no reason, besides he's a rogue don't they like being to themselves"

1.
About bold: That's just me drawing your eyes, nothing you need to do. Though if you want to do an action and are doing paragraphs of thinking or something I'd appreciate a separating space.

2. Yes, you do have a bonus being an elf to see in the dark.

3. It changes based on who you are. You'd know something a bit akin to karate but a bit more brawler like. Like refined street fighting, if you would.
IC:
The walls closed behind Biffy, and from behind the solid wooden door with Iron hinges he could hear the noise of scampering on the stone floor.

The party minus Miffy advances forward, taking a left.

Around the corner they see a stone corridor, and an opening to the right of the hall that seems to hold a chest.

The end of the corridor seem to turn left.
