A good idea, but I can really never assure you that I'll be available for that sort of a time commitment.

Artmeis, with torch back in his right hand and bow in his left, sees that Njord's tampering with the mechanism isn't doing any good and approaches the device to study it. "Maybe there's more to it that kicking it or pulling on it..."
Mordereth, it seems like for the most part we're waiting on guidance for you. Even if you can't give a set time is there possibly a rough time frame you can be expected? I know lately I haven't been around when everyone else is but I can adjust if need be...
Miffy let go other dagger which was still stuck in heart. He croached as he spun around to grab the arm the Imp was striking with, then rolled him over his back, and slamming him ontop of the other Imp that was between him and the heart.
I like the idea of having a time that we could do some serious posting. We should get a list of the good times for everybody and see if it could work.
Artemis looks over the device from as many angles as he can, and wonders what Bildin's dramatics were about. Does he know something that the rest of us don't? Does he just enjoy us making fools of ourselves?Captainguy42 said:

I'm at work from 8am t0 5pm east coast time and am usually looking at the forum throughout the day and don't really get online much for the rest of the night, but if people prefer a later time I can work with that as well.
Siskan looks over his shoulder to see the other three huddled around the mechanism. He searches the floor and walls for anything that may act as a key or switch, eventually reaching the once sealed entrance. He looks up and down the passageway, checking if their wanderings have alerted any of the cave denizens to their presence.
I work varying shifts, but I usually post between 7 and 11 in the evening - east coast time as well.

At the push of an undisclosed individual, the stone moves in and the walls parts to reveal Miffy battling Imps! The door way is to the right behind Miffy, and the Imp Heart is to the right through the passage that has just opened.
Both Imps fallen, Miffy was only a bit away from the Heart. Another Imp jumps onto him from behind, scratching his back and continuing to strike him. The Imp draws a small amount of blood.
"We're not done yet." Miffy said to Njord as he lunged at the vineball, retrieving his dagger he proceed slash at the vineball again and again.
While his companions fight the imps and attack the vines, Artemis moves to find an opening to the heart of the vine ball. Wondering if it will have any affect, he throws his torch at it and draws an arrow...
Hearing the sounds of battle from back down the corridor. Sisk sprints back. The wall is gone. He sees is companions attacking a writhing mass of vines. Moving sideways, so he can have a clear shot into the heart of the ball - Sisk shoots a magical flame bolt into the heart.
"So that's where you went," Bildin shouts at the rogue as he enters the doorway and looks around the room. "I thought you'd abandoned us," the battle raged on around him. "Silly me. Oh yes, we found a chest full of gold. We're bringing it with us," he said, glancing at Njord as he uppercutted an imp. "Of course, I see you decided that we were moving to slow or some..." he stopped as a blast of fire slammed into the center of the unholy Imp Heart. "Huh. Who shot that?" Bildin said as he whirled around and saw Sisk at the fireball's origin. "Great," he muttered, "they know incendiary magic now."
Mordereth, when you type out descriptions of what we see, do you mind adding a bit more detail to them? As you can see from the mechanism in 'The Third Sight,' we really had no idea what it was besides something significant. Just adding a line of detail would help us make more specific actions rather than the general "I push the stone block."
The Heart, already pierced by an arrow, bursts at being shot by the spell. The pulsing dark matter explodes outwards, into gory blue-blooded pieces.
The remaining Vines withered, as did the other Festering Imps.
Now able to take a moment to look about the room, the group sees an exit at the back of the room. The passage moves forward, and then takes a right.

Not three paces into the corridor are the now-familiar lines of the sliding shut door. Once they've passed through, they won't be going back from whence they came.
While Artemis walks over to see what's left of his arrow after the blast, he offers a nod to Miffy.
"Welcome back. What do you say we get a move on, and try to stay together this time."
With this, Artemis walks over to the exit and leans against the wall, waiting to take his place in the middle of the line up.

" So you guy's found a chest of gold. And I found a nest of Imps. Just my luck." Miffy muttered. He then turned around and began to examine the exit.
Miffy looks at the exit. It's more or less square and made of poorly carved stone bricks. It strikes him that this would have to have been made by a sentient being, and festering Imps never would have been able to achieve such a feet.

" Hey, these tunnels are different then the ones before. The other one's look like they were natural but these have got brick walls. Whatever made this must have some level of intelegence, there's no way the imps could have." Miffy said as he followed Njord.
