Me, alone versus a yao guai in fallout 3.

My character was named chuck norris, looked like chuck norris and was insanely powerful and was armed only with a powerfist.

I won. I was chuck norris, what did you expect?
Same thing happened to me, except I was level 2, still only armed with the BB gun and my unarmored vault suit, it was also a Deathclaw not a Yao Guai (I didn't even know what it was at the time, and I have never encountered another one since). Needless to say I got turned into darkish red confetti in about 3 nanoseconds.
Place your bets folks, you've got my character, Salazar Sack McFirsties the level 30 power armored stud who at the time was carrying a Telsa Cannon, a Heavy Incinerator, an odd assortment of small guns, energy weapons, and melee weapons, and enough mines of all sorts to fill thousand Saudi Arabia's V.S. Three Dog, the radio DJ who practically dies after one hit, never fights back, and is repeatedly murdered over and over and over again thanks to auto save.

pokemon yellow: took on brock with nothing but a lv.15 pikachu, a lv. 4 rattata and a lv. 2 caterpie. Needless to say i got utterly crushed.
But then i trained my pikachu to lv. 20, went back to his gym and beat brock's ass by spamming slam.
i have been there. my solution was catching a mankey and beat his ass to the ground with it's low kick. it is a lot easier then grinding to level 20

a lot of my Starcraft 2 matches.

Once I got a bunch of tanks in front of my base... I just sent the message, "crap" to my opponent, tried to move my buildings, he found my far flung expansion with one 'rine and I just said, "good game"

I also got smashed by a million carriers, six pooled, 4 gated, void ray spammed, I'm just godawful at this freakin' game. I'm goign to keep playing though.

In Baldur's Gate II, it is possible to inadvertently run into a ridiculously difficult fight shortly after the start of the game by opening the wrong door in the bridge district. You fight against six or so enemies that are of a stupidly high level, and cannot leave until you kill them all. Bear in mind you might be as low as level eight at that point. Now, if you do manage to beat them you get a really nice item known as the Staff of the Magi, but its very unlikely you'll beat them if you run into them early on.
Yeah i know how you feel, i got my ass handed to me with what i thought was a sweet 6 level 16+ team against those guys, although i eventually bet them

The most one sided fight against me would also be from baldurs gate II, theres this lich who you have to gather his torso and limbs for, and then when you do that you fight him, and i used this super undead slayer spell to insta kill him then he transforms into this super form who i couldnt damage with any of my characters and he could instant obliderate any of my guys with this quick spell (and by obliderate, i mean you cant revive them if he casts this)

Dragon Age Origins. The bridge in the Deep Roads, where wave after wave of darkspawn rush you while crossing the bridge. It looks to me like you were meant to advance a little, pull one group and fight them, then advance a little further to the next, and so on.
With my mage, I just ran across the bridge without stopping for more than a half second at a time to lob a spell. It was rather fun, just running straight across blowing things up left and right, the few who survived my spell damage getting finished off by my party as I kept running toward the big fight at the far end of the bridge. When I got there, it was just Fireball, AoE, Fireball, and "Oh, you're all dead."

I was out in the middle of East Commonlands, I was a super high level 8 human monk and I was looking for lions to hunt. I was midway through my second, after which I would need five full minutes in RL time to recover from, at which point I heard the flutter of wings and then a level 40 Gryphon killed me in one hit.

I had just leveled and decided to buy some spells. While I was shopping, someone sent me a tell, and I started typing a reply when I was instantly killed by the vendor; I had not initiated chat but autoattacked the vendor when I hit the 'a' key and was instantly killed and lost my level.

I was with a group midway through a dungeon when without warning a high level adventurer ran by, pulling with him every single creature from the depths below. I died in one second.

I was a fully decked out, max level character, pulling for my raid in the Plane of Fear. We were halfway through clearing the zone, we'd been at it for hours or days. As I approached camp with our latest prey, the god of fear interrupted.

Cazic Thule shouts, "QUESA!"

I was instantly killed, as something I had agroed had agroed something else, which had agroed something else, which had agroed something else, which had agroed Cazic Thule; the entire raid then camped out, as he would kill us one by one every 30 seconds until we were all camped and off of his hate list.

Ahh.. Everquest...

I people have obviously never played Demon's Souls. Every enemy ever past level 1-2 can kill you in less than 5 shots.
Unless you get the Warding spell, after which the game somehow goes from exremely unforgiving to almost laughably easy.

Oh, and I had a good 1 (me) against 4 (them) PvP fight in Eve Online, in my Maller cruiser designed specifically to slaughter frigates. It had armour plates on top of armour plates giving me more armour than some battleships, web & scramble, and light, frigate-size guns. I arrived at a gate to find three frigates and a destroyer from an enemy corp.
I immediately started targeting them all, webbed and scrambled a frigate and destroyed it quickly, then did the same to the destroyer. I was ignoring all incoming damage because, although my shields went down pretty quick, all that armour meant the enemy's gunfire may as well have been mosquito bites. The other two frigates turned to run, but I managed to scramble one more before they entered warp. He, of course, died in seconds.

On TF2 as a pyro I turned a corner and saw the ENTIRE enemy team running at me. So I did what any pyro does and charged right in and set each and everyone one of them on fire. I managed to kill 3 in the commotion before I was killed and killed two more from after burner. The enemy team then wandered into my teams sentry nest and thanks to my damaging of them they where obliterated. That was a good day when a Pyro took on all of Red Team.

The goddamn ubermorph in Dead Space 2. I mean, yeah, it was pretty much like the Hunter in the first game, except you really didn't get much breathing time, thing was always two steps behind you.

Oh, and deathclaws before level 20. After that, the freaking super-deathclaw. Not cool Obsidian, not cool.

Though Fallout New Vegas did have some really one-sided battles in my favour too. Like when you're sent by the NCR to take out the Great Khans. I basically waited til morning, planned two C-4 charges, one under the leader's chair and the other under the common table. I hid in the bathroom until everyone got in and BOOM! Killed seven of the nine people in the room, then I burst out of the bathroom with the That Gun and one-hit killed the other two guys in the face.

In New Vegas when venturing into Vault 34 there is a nasty ghoul at the end called the overseer. But 2 beanbag rounds to the head followed by 4 clips of riot shotgun slugs into the cerebrum cleared up that problem. Hi-larity

Depends... receiving or giving?

Receiving: Demon Souls. Dieing in this game is as natural as breathing, especially in the intro where you are destined to die even if you beat the fat demon.

Giving: ME2 Shadow Broker. On insanity, getting to him was way harder then killing him. Case and point with Vasir.
