Deadpool - Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Sure, at a low level he only has two abilities that kinda suck when not used on one person, but when he has all his abilities and level 20 defence (coupled with his rediculous healing factor) he's basically unstoppable. Same thing with Wolverine, although to a slightly lesser extent (he has no ranged attacks anyways).

I remember that after I did this with a Specter Sniper Rifle it could one-shot most enemies in the game. Overheated like nobody's business, though.

The Lion heart limit break in FF8. Usually appeared against something of little consequence. How he decided that a cactuar needed to take 190,000 points of damage is beyond me.
I lol'd.

On the topic of FF8, The End was pretty ridiculous.

In Shadow Hearts 2, Energy Charge as Fides + Seventh Key = instant kill on the final boss.

I also made a spell called "Fuck All" in Oblivion that requires me to fortify my magicka like 5 times before I can use it and it does so many different terrible things to the enemy; I'm shocked it doesn't freeze the game.

And a shout out to my homie Time Control in Fable 2, easily one of the biggest game breakers in history.

The Experimental MIRV from Fallout 3. I can imagine the tagline now...

Experimental MIRV: If one Mini Nuke isn't enough, eight surely must be.
Yeah? Except you have to be half a mile away from the target. It's pretty much for show. The alien blaster is a hundred times more effective than the MIRV.

The most over powered weapon ever is Dragons Tooth Sword from Deus Ex. Once you get it all other weapons become obsolete. Even if you have not invested anything in melee skills it will kill almost every enemy with 1 hit. With skills it destroys robots, karkians, bosses, everything. Hell, theres virtually no need for lockpicks as you can break through every breakable door with 1 hit. This gets rather boring after a while though.

Hadouken from Mega Man X: It's somewhat difficult to obtain, but once you get it, the game practically plays itself. Every enemy can be killed by one blast from this puppy, Sigma included.

Zero's Saber from Mega Man X3: Same principal as the Hadouken. A single hit from this weapon carves any boss's lifebar, including Sigma's, in half.

Galaxy Stop from Final Fantasy Tactics: I guess it's not too bad, since the only character who knows this spell is a Guest character, Olan, who's only present for one battle. Still, it inflicts "Stop", "Don't Move" and "Don't Act" status on every enemy on the battlefield with almost 100% accuracy. Definitely overpowered.

The Golden Gun from GoldenEye 007: It's only got one clip of ammo, and a single bullet in that clip, but it's a guaranteed kill, no matter where on your target's body you hit. Maybe it isn't as bad as other overpowered weapons, but it's a real ***** in multiplayer.

Super Hammer from Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The regular hammer is a fairly balanced weapon; it doesn't last long, you can't jump too high when using it, and there's a chance the head will come off when you pick it up. The Super Hammer, on the other hand, will never lose it's head, lasts far longer, and essentially guarantees a KO on anyone it hits.

Gravity Hammer from Halo 3: I understand the need for decent melee weapons, and I'm not denying that it's fun to use... But c'mon, you could flip a Warthog with that thing if you timed it just right. It's insulting.

Well, JB, killing one enemy in oblivion with one spell that you need to fortify for and can only cast once without waiting isn't that overpowered. Now, if you added range to all of those effects, instant-enemy rape.

Actually with numerous strong magicka potions, it's easily recasted. And it is ranged, I'm sorry if I said something that indicated single enemy.

Its' range flattens towns, unless people are extremely far away. It's not practical, I mean, my paralysis + damage per second spell might be better posted in this thread, but I designed it to be more of a spectacle more than a practical spell.

Armageddon from the worms game with the same subtitle. It killed everyone.
I was playing with my brother and we came across that for the first and only time.
Didn't quite kill everyone, as we were messing about and had constructed giant bunkers under ground, but it did destroy virtually the entire map and leave 2 worms standing on the last remaining little chunk :p

The Alien Blaster in Fallout 1.

I made an Energy Weapons character for my second attempt and it was the first thing that happened to me as soon as I started, made most of the game ridiculously easy.

weapon: the pulse cannon in resistance 2 one shot from that thing and everything on the screen get a good helping of rape.

spell: apocalypse from final fantasy crisis core, all you need to do is cast the spell and enjoy.

item: rare candy in pokemon, if you have red or blue version then you can do the 99 item cheat and you can get all your pokemon to the highest level in like half a day.

the spells apocalypse and nova in the first Diablo. Nova was a guranteed kill anything not immune to lightning, and apocalypse killed everything in 1-2 shots even if they were immune to fire, plus it only hits enemies, so unlike nova, is completely save to use standing next to teammates.
Thor's God Speed in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. He just attacks so piss fast it is insane!
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness The Gargoyle bird innocent devil's force cannon, it just tears Dracula's life apart (I would have included a spoiler but if you didn't know by now that Dracula is the final boss of a Castlevania game you must not have ever played one. not trying to be rude at all I mean that in all honesty). the star rod's holy star defeats Dracula's first form in 2 shots!
Possibly the photon blasts in PSO 1&2
armagaedon from worms is powerful as all heck to be sure, but still a strong possibility you take your worms with them. the concrete donkey on the other hand, is a 100% surefire kill of anything below it, bores a huge wide vertical hole where you deploy it, and 95% of the time the worms just end up sinking.

Hahaha, I just found one out playing Titan's Quest. As an Oracle, the Turmion Attack is very overpowered. In fact, if you put skill points in that skill, and in Nimbus Cloud (I think that's the name) you're practically unstoppable. I just blast through the levels without any problems. Bigger enemies can be a bit of a problem, but I always stash up on enough potions anyway. You find soooo much equipment, it's insane. Money is never a problem.

Just to break people's brains, I'm gonna say the pistol from Halo 2.

To be serious, though, I have to say that Mewtwo, and that new god-pokemon-thing are way too overpowered. (Well, the way a trainer uses 'em, they might as well be weapons.) Over the years, pokemon keep getting more and more powerful, but Mewtwo is still considered an "uber" character. Considering that nearly all of the pokemon from the good 'ol Red and Blue have been left in the dust, save a few who can take advantage of loopholes, there was definitely something wrong with it when it was first made.

And I just have to say it straight. Making a character with the highest all-around stats, able to learn painfully powerful moves, and making it able to be any element is when you know character design has gone to seed.
First off, your thinking of the pistol from Halo 1, the M6D not the M6C. Secondly, all tournaments suck.
You seem to have totally disregarded the first five words of Erana's post.
"Just to break people's brains"
Perhaps this is why Erana mentioned Halo 2, rather than CE, and why your correction was a bit impertinent.

The most over-powered Halo weapon I can think of is the Halo 2 version of the Plasma Pistol. I used to use it on its own, followed up by a quick punch for a close-quarters fix rivalled only by the shotgun. People complained about the sword, sure, but if you got the timing right, the Plasma Punch was far worse.

A lot of things in the Warhammer Dawn of War series, such as the Necros or a Imperial Guard with Grenade Launcher.
