We're happy little VegemitesSirDeadly said:Ummm, I can't think of anything except Vegemite from Australia.
Not the meat itself, but I heard some of the stuff they add like for flavour and such, but then I could be wrong. I mean I feed my cat roo meat and he seems quite content with it, so yeah probably a bit of misinformed chatter on my part.fletch_talon said:I don't know about emu, but I'm curious as to why you think kangaro meat is unhealthy. Considering I already knew it to be low in fat, I did a quick wiki search and found there are other reasons why its good for you and oddly, very little to say its bad.Vrex360 said:I'm going to say Beef Pies, lots of them. In Australia we eat them while chugging on VB and laughing around the barbie.
Also Kangaroo meat and Emu meat and any other animal from the Coat of Arms or beloved mascots of this country are fairly unhealthy. Yet Australia is the only country where it is legal to eat the animal embelems so we do it with pride.
.... now where did that Koala get to?
My personal trainer recommends eating roo meat because it's high in protein. It'd be unlike her to recommend something that wasn't healthy enough for me to eat.Vrex360 said:Not the meat itself, but I heard some of the stuff they add like for flavour and such, but then I could be wrong. In which case I'll just say Beef Pies, because there is no denying those things aren't good for you.
EDIT: Though I have heard that when Roo meat is processed greatly (because otherwise it has a very bitter taste) then the stuff they add gets unhealthy. Not sure if this is true, but I heard about it.
Okay then, fair point.MelziGurl said:My personal trainer recommends eating roo meat because it's high in protein. Why?
Because of the fine Canadian delicacy known as poutine.
What is poutine? How could you make french fries more unhealthy? You! In the back! No, not slather it in mayonaise, that's Belgium (cookie for the reference, although it is a bit vague). How about gravy? And make it swim in the stuff. And why not add some cheese to it as well, your arteries can handle that much more cholesteral am I right?
The result of this mix is this:

And boy does it ever taste good.
Hell yes, Nothing like french fries coated in cheese, bacon and ranch. Checkers has some of the best onion rings too.hittite said:While the obvious answer is cheeseburgers, a little more thought brings to mind the awesomeness that is loaded potato skins. The only thing that rivals those is the fully loaded fries from Rallys (Checkers if you're from south of the Mason-Dixon line).
You talking about the stuff that comes in a can? Nothing inherently unhealty about that, it's just a sauce + ground meat.ERadical said:The Manwich? You've all seen it but i'm to lazy to grab pics.
Might mean something different over there, but supersize generally implies larger drink/fries.thenumberthirteen said:Supersize a triple whopper burger...
A Scotch egg is a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and covered in breadcrumbs. Haven't had one in ages.secretshadow90 said:Also my aunt makes Scotch eggs, which is basically deep fried sausage from what I know of them.
