You go to Scotland and you come out deep fried.

However, I think the deep fried pork sausage roll or the deep fried Mars bar or the deep fried pizza or the deep fried salad (crispy seaweed) to be the best in deep fried foods capable in taking a few years off your life. I don't know, it's a bit of Russian roulette involved with Scottish cuisine.
Worst thing i've had in Scotland was veggie haggis - all i could taste was salt :S

I have had a deep fried twinkie, and its fucking awesome. But its kinda makes you feel dirty and guilty, like one rung under unprotected sex with a hooker.

Turkey: kebabs.

Some kebabs have different amounts of butter or suet/tallow. This causes high rate of cholestrol amongst Turkish people.

One of the "most healthy" kebab is doner kebap. Usually, it is just a pure meat with a fat on top of the roll. The fat melts on to the sides while doner turns around. This doner grills very well before serving, and contains less fat after cooking.
Still, I see many people complain from it as a very unhealthy food, for example:
http://geniusbeauty.com/diet-weightloss/why-kebab-so-unhealthy/
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060903101205AAVKdSb

I can say doner kebap is "one of the most healthy kebab", because there are many more unhealthy kebabs in my country. Think about how unhealthy Turkish cuisine can be :)
Especially in the Eastern Anatolia, folks love to eat with lots of fat/butter/suet/tallow.

One example for "unhealthy food" from my country is Kokorec. Kokorec is roasted/grilled sheep's intestines and usually eaten in a wrap or bread. Most people love it, and get angry to dislikers as "you don't deserve such a tasty food". However, roadside sellers don't make it clean, therefore it may contain dirt, fecal or stool inside them. Yes, because they are animal intestines.

On the stand:

On the plate:

A note. In service (or inside the bread), it may look like "sac kebab", but they are different things. Sac kebab is made on "sac" (curvy boiling/cooking steel) and made with sliced steak/pieced meat/minced meat, therefore cleaner and healthier than kokorec.

There is another common food on the Northern Cyprus, it is "seftali kebab". Seftali means peach, but it does not contain any peach in it. It is a kind of meat that is wrapped with suet/tallow. This is another one of the most unhealthy food, because it is a very fatty food. Cholestrol bomb... And I think It has the most fat amongst the other kebabs. One is enough for stomachache :)

Before cooked:

After cooked:

Delicious, eh?

hehe, i like this thread. it's pretty funny.
here in England they tend to like fried foods. fish and chips with lots of salt, vinegar (which i never have. that's a bit too british for me) and tartare sauce. bubble and squeak, which is like deep-fried remnants of last night's stew, is another popular one. i haven't tried bubble and squeak but apparently it's quite nice. and of course they love their gravy and sausages.
as for my home country, australia, i think something like a sausage roll is pretty unhealthy, as is our kfc, obviously. none of our traditional foods, like vegemite, lamingtons, pavlova, kangaroo, etc, are that bad for you, so i think we mainly borrow our bad health from unhealthy british and american foods. they seem to have left a lasting impression on us too, since we're one of the fattest nations on earth.

I live in New Zealand, where it's not so much the food, but the quantity eaten. You should see all the Maori pie shops...

Actually it's made from the leftover crap you find after brewing beer. Now if the taste doesn't put you off it, and that doesn't, I don't know what will.

New Zealanders tend to enjoy Vegemite, and the down-under version of Marmite, which is more like Vegemite than the english version of Marmite.

Also, but of course nothing compared to others in this thread, are All-Sauces Chips. Chips with garlic butter, tartar sauce, and tomato sauce. Apparently only avaliable in Gisborne fish and chip shops. And pie sandwiches.

Yeah, the phrase "unhealthy food" describes easily half of any menu you will EVER sit down and look at over here.

I did have the privilege of visiting London once upon a 2007 summer . . . all I can say about that food-wise is "Mmm . . . shepherd's pie . . ."

Veggie haggis?. Isn't haggis by default a meat dished cooked inside the putrid glands of an animal?. How do you make that abomination vegetarian? .

Ever heard of...

[HEADING=1]Turbaconducken?[/HEADING]

It's a real thing, consisiting of turkey stuffed in duck, stuffed in chicken, wrapped in bacon. I fit the American stereotype of constantly shoving huge bacon cheeseburgers down my throat as often as possible, and even I'm intimidated by this (Masterpiece?) Monstrosity. It legitimately looks like it could kill me.
Looks like a headcrab to me.

I'm going to say Beef Pies, lots of them. In Australia we eat them while chugging on VB and laughing around the barbie.

Also Kangaroo meat and Emu meat and any other animal from the Coat of Arms or beloved mascots of this country are fairly unhealthy. Yet Australia is the only country where it is legal to eat the animal embelems so we do it with pride.

.... now where did that Koala get to?
I don't know about emu, but I'm curious as to why you think kangaro meat is unhealthy. Considering I already knew it to be low in fat, I did a quick wiki search and found there are other reasons why its good for you and oddly, very little to say its bad.

US.
http://www.babble.com/CS/blogs/strollerderby/2008/10/01-07/pork-brains-in-milk-gravy-3500mg-cholesterol-1170-percent-instant-heart-attack.jpg
Never had it, never want to. But it's still a canned product of the US. I also like how it's canned in milk gravy, but has 0% calcium.
