Again, I wasn't bashing the PS3. I think all of the current generation of games consoles have their own merits, I've played on all of them and enjoyed them all. I just took exception to when he said owning a PS3 is better than owning a PC. And I don't understand why he said people will buy it for the application.Jumplion post=9.72600.766659 said:I'm sorry Tsunami, but the PS3 has not lost. Nor has it won. THe console wars are far from over, as anything can happen. I could care less if the PS3 "lost" the console wars just so long as I get the games I enjoy and expect from Sony. I would answer your 1-4 points but I'm sure both you and I don't want to get deeper into this stuff.
Pitty, what started as a Home discussion turns to a PS3 bashing fest. Should have figured, but that's what happens.
And do I have to remind you guys again, Home is free. You only pay for optional things like, say, a bigger house and new cloths. Hey, if it worked for Second Life it can work for Home.
I don't think there's even a console war anymore. I mean you've got the Wii for your more casual gamers, your 360 for people who maybe aren't that into having the latest technology and just want a straight up console, then you've got the turbo-charged PS3 with all the latest features.
