New topic. What do you do when you've just broken up with someone? How do you cope?

Cope? I hope by coping you mean getting out the axe... and chopping down a tree directly onto her house... so I could build her a better one with the wood - from a tree, no less - that I have.

I prefer intelligent people who are able to discuss politics and philosophy one minute and fling a grape or something at me the next. Looks only matter when I notice a person for the first time, but later on he or she must be horribly ugly to make me lose interest.

Someone who I have things in common with. Someone with a caring personality, and a good sense of humour.

Breasts are a welcomed addition.

I know a girl named Anna. She is just... perfect. Her eyes are a blueish-greenish mix until you get really close to her then you notice small streaks of yellow. Her hair is golden and long making gold makers be put to shame. Her skin is ghostly pale but still seems to retain that happiness that most people I know have lost. Instead of staying quiet she voices her opinion while maintaining her usual charm that always brightens the day. We may have different views or be on different sides when it comes to issues (Abortion,Politicians,War) but we always try to be equal to the other.

It is a bit sad that I haven't thought to ask her out. She would probably say "no" anyway considering that she would be embarrassed by her friends who would ridicule her. And I don't want that for her. I want her to be happy. Even if it means I won't.

i found the perfect girl who understands me and loves me for who i can. she is the most amazing person i have ever had the chance to get to know. when i have a shitty day i can call her and talk about it. she is never to busy for me even though she plays softball for her university. she has makes me a better person in general. here is the thing. she plays softball for the University of North Dakota and live near Miami. i have never seen her in person and have only spoken to her on the phone for many hours at a time.

so whats the best thing to do in this situation

If the yellow streaks are around her pupils, then she has kayser-fleisher rings.

Good to know Berethond...for the record, I wasn't aware that I was trying to do anything with sinister intentions. I just don't want to mess everything up. Anyway, what is your opinion on the whole thing?
I don't give good advice. I would refer you to my best friend.(who give amazing advice and is just amazing anyways) But....
She doesn't post here. Or anywhere on the internet, anyways. But, in my (limited)experience, the 'friend zone' isn't quite as catastrophic as people make it to be.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm... I'm not picky about who I end up with, and I know I have all means to be. :/ I wish I had a semblance of ego, but I was raised to be humble.

Sure, that statement seems oxymoronic.

I like a man who's taller than me, stronger than me, bigger than me (which is NOT hard), and who isn't afraid to guide me. I like strength in a man. I especially like it if their as much if not more into video games than I am, but not obsessed by any means. Balance is key. Emotionally, physically and possessively, I need a strong man. That's that. ^.^

I'm single right now because I want to be. Since high school, I haven't been alone. It's nice to get to know who I am without the regard of another. I'll get back into the game soon, when something comes my way.

Looks-wise, I personally feel eyes are most important. Height isn't too big a deal, but being 6'2", I don't want to have to bend over too far to give them a hug.

As for personality, I just like nice people, as long as they're not that "stupid but friendly" type. I have a dog for that.

I don't think I'd be able to deal with a girl who isn't intelligent. The inability to have rational conversations is a relationship-killer

If they're into the same things I am: Video games, exercise, parkour, etc., so much the better.

They also need to not be disturbed by 6 packs (the ab kind, not the beer kind). There seems to be an unfortunate dichotomy between girls who find them hot, and girls who find them gross.

Huzzah. I can comment on both xD
First, for both, a good personality. I don't want to spend a good portion of my time with someone who has a pretty face, but treats me like shit. It's not worth it.
PERSONALITY > LOOKS
A 'good' personality is someone who can handle my specific brand of craziness. Someone who can have conversations about extremely random (and often times gross) things. WHO CAN HOLD A SEMI INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES WITHOUT GETTING DISTRACTED BY SOMETHING SHINY. Who isn't embarrassed easily. Who doesn't mind making a fool of themselves in public just for shits and giggles. Someone who doesn't mind ME making a fool of myself in public for shits and giggles. Someone who doesn't have an aversion to getting dirty once in a while (and I mean that literally...bring on the mud wrestling and paint ball wars). Someone who isn't a complete emotional retard (as in, neither a big MACHO I'm-not-allowed-to-feel-anything kind of person, or the kind of person that cries when a flower gets stepped on or when Bambi's mum dies...I know it's a bit to ask for, but basically, someone who can let their feelings show, but not let everything get to them). Someone who can put up with my liking of cuddles.

Physically, I like guys that have pale skin (not averse to dark skin, it just makes me feel even paler than I am...at least if they are lily white too I don't feel so odd...I guess that's what I get for having red hair xD), dark hair (black of dark brunette), green eyes, NOT UBER MUSCLED! there is nothing LESS comfortable than trying to cuddle up to a brick wall. A little bit of cushion can be a good thing (especially when it comes to more intimate situations. Bruising down there fucking hurts!!!) I like toned guys well enough, as much as the next hormonal adolescent, it's just when they start to feel like they are made of steel that it gets a bit much. Um...I guess the sterotype guy that I like would be a metal head. But I really don't care about labels. I've been labelled that many times that I have my own box labelled 'Tripped out-gothic-hippy-tom boy-metal head-nerd'.

Physically in girls, I look for bodies that don't turn invisible when they turn sideways. I hate looking at a girl and thinking 'I shouldn't breath in her direction, she'll break in half'. CURVES! For the love of all that is good in the world CURVES!. If I wanted to date a woman with the body of a ten year old boy, I would just find myself a 10 year old boy FFS. One thing that will turn me off a girl is if she dressed like A) a Barbie doll or B) like a hooker on Thursday night. Not that keen on blondes. Darker hair is alot prettier. HUGE BOOBS are out. I don't wanna get knocked out by them. Medium sized is fine. Once my hands are full the rest just goes to waste anyway.

EDIT: FYI I'm a girl ^.^
