The Simpsons: Still the best?

All the episodes of any show will get 'dull' after a while.
The show will use any means possible to get some laughs.
What in the beginning of the show may have been a hahaha,
if the show goes on to long it will turn into a smile or not even a smile at all.
( Personally, I love family guy, even the latest episodes, that is just my kind of humor. )
Neither of any shows are bad/boring they are just made in a way that you need to love to understand, if you dont like family guy, you will problably like simpsons, if not, try south park etc.

The last few seasons have been awful. I watched one epsidoe with the Armenian people in, and it was just so badly paced and told. You could see the polictical correctness pouring from every pore

The one where Chris becoems popular in particular was very good, as well as the 3 Kings epsidoe.

The last few episodes of Family guy have been pure gold after a shaky start to the new season.Sir-Tdb said:

i can still watch a simpsons episode... but... futurama imo is better

you should REALLY do your homework, The Simpsons have been nominated for Emmys AND won them since 1990, the only 2 years they weren't were in 93 and 94Ghostwise said:

the Simpsons have won 24 Emmys compared to the 3 Family Guy has won. that's only the Emmys not the tons of other awards the Simpsons have won.
also there's been TONS of other cartoon shows to be nominated since the Flinstones
my big issue with South Park is it's not funny, most of the jokes are just beating you over the head with the subject and adding "that's gay" or "you're gay for liking it" and then swearing. that's not really funny at all, it gets rather tiring after 10 minutes.
I always felt American Dad and Family guy to not be that funny. Not unfunny, but there are much funnier things. I think The Simpsons is good, but went on for too long and used every joke possible. To be honest, the movie ceased to be funny for the most part. I much preferred Futurama, as I thought it was much more unique and entertaining.
The best animated comedy? I'm afraid Family Guy hold that award from me.
But if I had to choose to watch Family Guy or The Simpsons for 12 hours straight, I'd probably go with The Simpsons. It just seems more original and creative than the others out there. It has a certain charm I feel bad about not noticing.

The best animated show on television is King of the Hill. Nothing beats King of the Hill, not even the Simpsons. All of those shows are too silly for me. King of the Hill is very down to earth and relatable. It has some silly moments, but nothing over the top like those other shows.
I really liked the early to mid 90's episodes and still think it's pretty ok. Currently, though, South Park is much better. And we can all agree on one thing: Futurama is awesomeness. All glory to the Hypnotoad indeed!
Huh, I'm definitely a South Park fan myself.
I enjoy Simpsons, no question about it.
But they're just too... fuzzy, cuddly and nice, in the end.
Also, their latest episodes are just weird for the most part, while South Park is still (mostly) going strong even today, with episodes like Fatbeard, Margaritaville or The Ring.

The old Simpsons (not season 1) and all of South Park till these new episodes (Alien cops 'n robbers, WTF!) are the best still but they have just lost that spark unfortunately. Something Futurama and Family Guy never had and never will get to become as great.
Got to say no, not any more!
