My big issue with South Park is it's not funny, most of the jokes are just beating you over the head with the subject and adding "that's gay" or "you're gay for liking it" and then swearing. that's not really funny at all, it gets rather tiring after 10 minutes.
Thats not even close, it's obvious you hardly watched any South Park or you just hate for whatever reason.

Oh, and one thing I simply must put forward about the comics (it probably applies to the animated series as well)

IRONIC HUMOUR IS NOT FUNNY.
Example: Homer: "Maybe they'll decide to neutron bomb Bartman's house! Wouldn't his family be surprised?"
Homer: "If I ever find out who Bartman's father is, I'll knock his block off!" etc.
The above was pretty much all the humour in a 3-part series of comics. I don't get them any more.
It might as well have a big "Laugh here" sign above it because it is incredibly dull to see repeatedly. And unfunny.

On a side note, I own Hit and Run and Road Rage. They're both decent games. Though the handling in Hit and Run is terrible if you play anything vaguely realistic beforehand.

It hasn't been "the best" since the 90s. In fact, it hasn't even been "the [i/]good[/i]" since the 90s.

Oh wow...that was terrible...

I really want to like the new episodes of The Simpsons, but I cant. However, I can always revel in the older seasons.

Good lord no. Now don't get me wrong, I adored the Simpsons, but it stopped being the best a long time ago. First Futurama overtook it, then South Park, then Family Guy. The Simpsons might not even be top five anymore. That show just forgot how to be funny, and the whole show is just so tired. The world moved on; the Simpsons didn't.

Have to say I personally think Futurama is the best the others just got kind old for me although I still find Family Guy funny and American Dad but Futurama isn't just for Christmas it's for life.:D

-Futurama
-Family Guy
-South Park (newer episodes)
-Simpsons

The Simpons ran it's course, dying in about 2004.

South Park was originally just childish crap, but the newer episodes are actually somewhat funny due to more interesting humour.

Family Guy has it's interesting and funny bits, and has maintained that.

Futurama continues to be funny, in a classic way.

American Dad is garbage.

I much prefer Family Guy. I used to love the Simpsons for its amazing humour, but with the more recent seasons it's seen such a rapid decline in actual enjoyable moments that I don't watch it any more. I still enjoy the originals however.
Family Guy is pretty much a watered down simpsons, got a fat guy father, a wife that somehow puts up with his antics, a daughter that usually is the butt of all the jokes, a son that has varying levels of insane [think Bart as being chaotic neutral, and Chris as being chaotic stupid], a baby that either is smarter than he/she looks or actually is, and lets not forget the dog. didnt stop there though, MacFarlane then ripped off his very own ripoff with American Dad which follows the same formula.

I loved the simpsons, since I dont actually watch TV anymore I cant say I still love them, but if confronted with having to watch either a 24 hour marathon of The Simpsons, Family Guy, or Futurama, I would have to say simpsons, at least with 13 seasons or more worth of episodes you could get some variety
I won't even attempt to deny that FG is a rip off of the Simpsons. However, I find that McFarlane still has enough fresh material for the series to be great fun. I'm hoping that Groening's mental well of comedy hasn't dried up in the Futurama department since I'm really looking forward to seeing that back :D

One thing that holds the Simpsons back more than FG is the age rating. FG has a more free reign on its leash with a 15, whereas the 12 rating of the Simpsons means it is more limited to childish fun than FG.

I've watched almost every episode of the Simpsons and I have to say, after Season 15 it started getting steadily worse.

The Simpsons have gotten outright bad; they don't even get pity laughs from me. Last time I laughed was when they pulled a "Family Guy" skit with some Mexican cop DVDs; that was randomly hilarious.

They show is ridiculously bad now; Homer's jokes purely relies on him being retarded and not the funny kind.

Family Guy can be truly hilarious and cutting & all that, but much of the time I just find it gross and/or stupid. The Simpsons pulls the humor thing off a lot more often, possibly because the characters are more believable/relatable.

Sometimes a funny episode popps up in The Simpsons but no, I think *EDIT, accidently wrote family guy* American Dad is 10 times better.

To me, The Simpsons will always be one of the best cartoons ever.

"Don't forge? Don't forge what?"

Doesn't get any better than that.
