The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

"You're a genius, sweetie," Katie said with a smile as she got in the car. She brought the seat a couple of notches forward to allow her to reach the accelerator, and buckled herself in while Jason got in the passenger side. "Maybe I'll use this instead of my usual hood." Once her boyfriend was buckled in, Katie gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, started the car and pulled out of the Promenade, heading for the police HQ.

Richard replied to Dona.

"We should probably wait for the others before we go through the briefing. I'm sure the good chief doesn't want to have to say it more than once. A mixture of tradition and practicality."

"Really? I thought I was just stating the obvious." Jason said naïvely as the car sped down the street.

"So...um, what's your favorite color?" He asks randomly.

Simon watched as the others sped away before teleporting to the police station, before making his way inside

"Gentlemen...and ladies. I'm with the Society, I believe one of my team-mates has already arrived?"

Khrys parked her car and got out, walking into the police station. Her Mother had told her one time the best way to act when everyone has their eye upon you is as if none of them did, and she put that into practice nonchalantly saying she was with the Society and getting directions to find Richard.

Even so she is relieved to see his face and the others, slipping into the room and smiling murring "Hello therre."

Tommy dropped a smoke bomb and emerged in costume, then he ran to his bike and got on, taking off after the others. As he pulled out of the drive-way he noticed all the new flowers and decided to ask with the synthesizer, " Katie, I noticed the flowers, looks like you did a good job."

Garrus got onto his bike and drove away from the Promenade, reaching the Police Station and entering the building.

"With the Society, blah blah. Here to help," he quickly said to a few of the officers who directed him to where the others were. "Yo guys."

Heading off for the night. Sorry that everything is going a bit slowly. I'm getting ready to move in a bit and I'm feeling a little off. I'll try to be on a bit more so that we can get this next part done.

Katie thought about Jason's question for a few seconds, then answered, "Emerald green." She reached up with one hand and touched her hood, which instantly changed colour to match her words. "Like this," she added, indicating it as she continued driving.

When Tommy's message came through on her communicator, she answered, "Not a problem. They seem to like me, or, well, the first one we planted did. Didn't like Jason, though, for some reason. Do you know what the flowers are intended to do?"

"Oh. Awesome." Jason said with a nod.

"I don't really think I got to know you well on the dates we went on. After that kiss, i'd figured now would be a good time to start. It's funny, since Emerald Green is the color of my birthstone." He added as they pulled up to the police station.

"As for me, my favorite colors are black and blue, which is why my armor are those colors." He said as he got out, and opened the door for her.

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie stepped out of the car, locked it and said, "We'll talk more about this sort of thing later. Right now, we've got work to do." She pulled up her hood and the two of them walked inside the station to join the group. When Katie said they were with the Society for the meeting, a slightly skeptical officer directed them to the briefing room, unsure about Katie due to her appearance and the fact that he couldn't see her face. He had no problem with Jason, though, as it was clear he was a super.

"Don't worry officers, she's a super. You think a regular human can put together a functional particle of clothing entirely out leaves in only a few seconds? I think not." Jason said to the officers as they walked into the briefing room.

"So guys, what did we miss?" He asked anyone who was willing to answer.

Aaron almost crashed into a couple of the squad cars that were parked outside the station. A couple of cops ran to the car guns drawn.

"Step outside of the vehicle now!!!" one of them shouted.

Aaron stepped out in in his costume and with a McDonald's bag in one hand and a drink in the other.

"I'm with the Society," Aaron explained walking passed the cops into the station.

He made his way to the briefing room which was filled with his teammates and officers.

"You guys will never believe how long the drive-thru's at McDonald's are," Aaron took a sip of his coke.

Khrys smiles at Katie and Jason as they arrive giving them a wave murring softly to Katie "Love the hood."

As Aaron arrives she rolls her eyes and sighs at his comment.

"Nothing yet, we haven't started the briefing"

Simon said to Jason, before rolling his eyes as Aaron walked in

"You know 'Hero' status only allows you to get away with so much Aaron. One of these days I'm sure you're going to bite off more than you can chew"

Richard heard the alarms of the two police cruisers that Aaron had crashed into. He slowly grew more pissed as Aaron walked in with McDonald's.

"I'm going to assume that those cruisers are your doing. Can I just say that I am slowly growing more and more pissed off with the cavalier attitude you have? We're here on business, start acting like it." Richard chewed him out after Simon made his comment, one thing he couldn't stand was people who couldn't be professional.

"What he said," Garrus sat to Aaron, pointing at Richard. The Police Chief looked like he was going to blow a fuse, and Garrus quickly went over to talk to him. After a few moments he took a seat and began explaining what was going to happen.

"Well, we know the abandoned construction site that the deal will go down at, but we don't know which exact building. Our officers are already leading civilians out of the area, but well it's Westford not exactly the most understanding citizens there. SWAT is already completely prepared, they are just waiting for an order. I'll need a few of you guys, the stealthier ones obviously, to go and find out the exact building. If our officers get any closer, well then the whole thing will go kaput. Once we know exactly where to strike we'll be sending in you guys and SWAT."

" Well Katie, when we all get back I'll show you." As Tommy finished he pulled up to Police Headquarter and got out. As he walked to the receptionist he was prepared to give a note explaining that he was a Superhero, but as soon as the receptionist saw his costume she just waved him through. Inside the meeting room he joined the others and saw Aaron's bag of Mcdonalds, Oh Micky-D's I hope he'll share his fries...

"We have a man in custody who will be working on this deal. We were able to get the information about the deal form him, but he refuses to give up the exact location. We will let you take his place on the deal. Everyone else will wait for the actual deal to happen before moving in. We need them to exchange whatever it is they are exchanging before we can arrest them." The chief said before having everyone get up and begin to head out to their respective areas. The man lead Dona to the interrogation room where they were holding the criminal in custody.

"This is the man you will be impersonating. If you need to go inside you can, but we will be watching to make sure nothing happens to either of you." he said.

Richard got up and went to the helipad on the roof of the building before taking off in the direction of Westford. He figured he would fly overhead at a safe height and distance just in case he was needed.
