"You'd be surprised," Camille said as she walked down the hall, going up the staircase before heading down another hallway.

"I could get it all myself, but help is nice. Means I don't have to balance everything, worry about dropping everything. The weight isn't a problem, especially with me having Crime's strength ability," she said trying to make conversation as she pulled down the stairs to the attic.

"I didn't think strength was a problem. If you lead the Union, I would hope strength is a prerequisite. I figured having enough hands to carry the sheer number of items would be the problem. So, I'm assuming this Major Crime is second in command and responsible for keeping an ear to the ground?" He replied.

"You would be correct. He is the co-founder, second-in-command, and godfather to my boys," Camille replied, turning on the light in the large attic. She walked around looking at the labels on all the boxes before finding one listed as 'Paint and stuff'.

"Obviously Leland labeled this one," she said, opening it up and looking through it, "Take what you want and I'll help you carry it down."

Richard began to look through the box removing the basic supplies he would need before reaching the paints. Sifting through the multiple kinds of paints he found some oil paints and removed them along with a wide selection of brushes. Camille and himself gathered up the items and began to carry them back to the room. When they arrived back he bid her adieu and started setting everything up. Once he was finished he ate his food and began to paint the scenery down to the lines used to hold the panes of the window.

Jason rubbed his stomach in satisfaction.

"Ahhh, it feels good to be full." He said with a happy sigh as he went to the sink to wash the dishes.

"Rich is right A. We haven't fully healed from the virus yet. Hell, I haven't even tried regenerating my armor yet. You can go, I'll just hang back here." Jason said as he rinsed off the dishes and put them away.

"I wonder if they have a TV here..." He said to himself as he dried his hands.

Aaron grabbed a couple of pieces of bacon and a short stack of pancakes. He downed them as quick as he threw them down on his plate. After he was finished he searched the lodge for some clothes eventually stumbling on jeans and a t-shirt. After he finished getting dressed he returned to the kitchen and rejoined the others.

"Well, I'm heading up the mountain. You'll guys know where to find me if you need me," and with that he was out the front door.

Climbing always made Aaron feel at peace. Maybe it was the chilling breeze way at the top of the summit or just climbing itself. The mountain itself was taller then he expected, though he was ready for a challenge. He slowly made his way up not rushing himself still feeling a little light headed. He almost fell a couple of times but still continued up the steep mountain.

Teleporting into the house, Simon wandered around until he found Richard painting, tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention and began speaking

"If we're not going right away I need to leave now to retrieve my items from our base. If you need me back here I'll come back but I need my knives, ok?"

"Fair enough, but make sure you come back. We don't know how well all of you actually are yet, and I'm going to alert the doctor on staff to be on guard in case you collapse." Richard replied. He was about half way done with the painting and would finish as soon as he and Simon were done. He placed his painting supplies down as he spoke to him.

Simon paused for a moment, considering the implications of what might happen if he was even a little off in his concentration on where he was going

"Maybe its safer if I stay then. Don't want to end up anywhere...unpleasant"

He responded uncertainly

"Don't get me wrong Simon, I'm fairly certain you're well enough to teleport. I'm just not sure how much the virus took out of you, so I'm not sure you'll have enough energy to teleport back. The reason I want the doctor watching you is in case teleporting takes more out of you than you think it will." Richard replied. He didn't want him to be unsure of himself, just somewhat careful.

Eventually the smells coming from the breakfast tray overpowered Katie's resistance, and she dug in to the pancakes and bacon. As she ate, she continued to think. A possible idea had started to form in her mind: she had convinced herself she needed some time off. But for how long, and what would she do? The answer to the second question was easy, but time was a problem. She answered herself with, As long as it takes.

There were a lot of things that needed to be considered. Jason, for one. Would he be able to cope with it? He could call or see her any time, of course, and Katie knew she couldn't just abandon him. Her attraction to him was too great... it was bordering on love.

With her decision made, Katie finished eating, set the tray aside and pulled on her clothes from yesterday. She downed the remainder of the glass of water in one, ran her hands through her hair and headed out into the hall.

Jason walked over to his fellow heroes, greeting Simon along the way.

"Geez Rich, you've only been working on that piece for few minutes, and it already looks like a masterpiece. You gonna put that up in your room once we get back?" Jason says to Rich before noticing Katie appear at the top of the steps.

"Morning, princess! I was just about to come and see you. Feeling any better?" He called to her.

Katie smiled at her boyfriend, and hurried down the stairs to him. "Far better than I was this time twelve hours ago," she answered, giving him a quick kiss. "Although I could use a shower, as per usual. What about you?" she asked.

Another thought came to her after she asked the question; she hadn't tried out her powers yet to make sure she was able to do everything she could before the virus. She resolved to find somewhere to test herself sometime.

"Hmm, oh yes. Thank you, but I'm only about half finished, and that's only because most everything is large and monochrome for the most part. The next half will take me longer as I'll be doing all the detailing and shadows. When it's done I'll probably send it off to an auction house to raise money for charity using a pseudonym." Richard replied as he picked up the materials and got back to painting.

"The last thing I need to do is end up inside an object by mistake...plus as you said we have no idea where we are exactly...what if my powers reach a limit? Better to stay here for now"

Simon said, nodding to Jason as he approached before quickly turning back to Richard

"Just get us back soon Richard. Please"

And with a quick bow to Katie, made his way back towards the house

Jason nodded at Richard's explanation, showing a slight intrest in the art process. He turned to Katie.

"I'm feeling fine. I still get a random cough here and there, my joints are still a little sore, and I haven't tried out the armor yet, but otherwise, i'm just peachy." Jason said to Katie with a smile.

"Sooo...we pretty much got a free day here until we can leave. Wanna do something?" He asked.

"Well, Leland brought me breakfast, so first I want a shower, then to find somewhere to test out my powers, make sure I'm fit to fight," Katie answered. "Maybe we could have a practice battle, if you'd like." She wondered what the best plant-based strategy would be to beat Jason. His armour's blades could probably cut through any vines the way Husk had done back at Mordtoten's lab, so Katie needed to learn new ways to fight against armoured opponents.

"A spar huh? Ok, I don't see why not, besides, I need to learn how to pull my punches." Jason replies before sniffing his pits.

"Criminy, I think I may need a shower too." He says, grimacing at the stench of his B.O.

"Yeah, you really needed to share the reason behind that, hun," Katie said, eyebrows raised and a small smirk on her lips. "Anyway... shall we go and find a bathroom or something?"

Camille looked at the watch on her wrist, noting that Major Crime was already five minutes late as she went out onto the front lawn. She sat down on the steps, looking at the cloudy sky.

'Snow sometime soon,' she thought, seeing a helicopter in the distance, 'And thank goodness they arrived before that.' The helicopter slowly landed in the snow, looking wobbly before settling down. Major Crime gave her a quick wave as he turned off the engine, jumping out of the copter. He had on his signature military hat along with a thick jacket, getting out a cigar from one of his coat pockets and a lighter.

"Surprised you weren't smoking in there," Camille said to him, pointing to the helicopter.
"I was. Then fucking Herk had to start bitching, and well...you know what that's like," Major Crime explained, gesturing to Prof. Mordtoten as he got out of the helicopter with the help of Requiem, taking out a few large duffel bags.
"I heard that you know! I don't want cancer alright? That such a hard thing to understand?! God Camille, why the hell did you have me come up here? It's cold as hell," Mordtoten bitched, rubbing his gloved hands together.
"Oh I know you could have just given me the info through the phone or something, but there's some people I'd like you to meet," she said innocently.
"Boo. The last person you introduced me to was your son, who mind raped me, and that cyborg over there who I can't even understand!" Mordtoten yelled back, motioning to Requiem who started to beep at him, "See!? How am I supposed to understand that!?"
