Leland barely got to finish before Tommy ran into the room. He ran to the nearest shelf of books, running his hand along the spines reading the titles. He grabbed one and flipped it open, skimming through the pages before looking up and seeing an amulet. He dropped the book, and ran to the amulet. He examined it for a second before putting it on, the moment he did so he turned invisible. Excited by this he began running around like a dog let off the leash.

Holy-I'm-invisible-I-can-do-invisble-things-like- Thud, Tommy hit the floor face first. Trip over my own invisble feet...

"Can you do one thing for me?" Camille asked Simon, continuing before Simon could even respond, "Find Richard and tell him to head over here. I need to discuss some things with him. Thank you."

"It's amazing huh!? See I knew you'd like it!" Leland said excitedly, hearing a loud thud after Tommy became invisible, "Remember to put things back once you're done looking at them. I like to keep everything organized. It's nice huh? Love this place, spend most of my time in here or in the music room."

"Sure, no problem"

And with that Simon teleported away, first appearing at the base and retrieving his knives and then reappearing back outside the house, making his way to where Richard still sat watching tv

"Hey Richard, the main lady wants to talk with you upstairs"

He said, continuing out the door again before Richard had a chance to reply

Tommy took off the amulet and pushed himself up, he walked back to the stand where he found it and put it back, then he went to the book he was reading and put that back. Damn, right it's nice, you might actually have more things here than my parents. Oh do you mind if I just think? Talking is not really my thing.

Richard followed him and caught up before he teleported away.

"We are going to need to have a chat about what just happened, and don't think I'll be appeased by some bullshit answer. Remember, I played a large roll in saving your life. I have at least earned the privilege of knowing the truth behind your chat with her." Richard said before continuing back inside and up to Camille's office. It took a while considering Simon didn't actually tell him where it was, but he eventually found it. He tried to straighten the suit as best he could before knocking on the door. Figuring it was best to be at least somewhat professional.

"You know where to find me!"

Simon called back before heading out the door, humming tunelessly to himself

"Thinking is fine," Leland replied back, taking a seat at the roundtable, "There's a ton of stuff here. Oddly enough most of it was stuff that I found in the attic, only maybe two percent I got myself. So I dusted everything off and put it all in here. It's great. I'd like to get more, but I don't actually know where I'd get things like this. You don't see them at Walmart or stores like that."

----

Major Crime opened up the door for Richard, pointing out the seat across from Camille for him to sit in.
"Glad you found it. I guess Simon didn't tell you where it was," Camille said as she finished writing something on a piece of paper.

"No, but then again he's been rather uninformative as of late." Richard said in the tone he used for all business deals as he took the seat and thanked Major Crime for letting him in.

"Before we begin I have two conditions to these talks. I will be treated like an equal in these proceedings, with dignity and respect, and I will be leaving out certain portions that I deem important so as to ensure you will not be reproducing my design without my knowledge. If these conditions cannot be met, you may as well have me leave now."

"Easy enough. We ourselves will be leaving a few things out too, letting you know this now," Camille said, moving her papers to the side of the desk and sitting back in her chair.

"Well, where should we begin? I can let you know that the person who originally ordered the suit information is no longer with us, gave whoever ordered him the goods then was back-stabbed. So we know we have a rogue somewhere, and we're doing our best to find them. They are leaving little to no clues, but we'll get them...just hopefully before they can make all those suits," Camille said, rubbing her temples.

"Madame, I deal in secrets, those I do business with keeping some from me is nothing I have a problem with. I only require I be allowed the same courtesy. Now, excuse me for not being comforted by your words. I understand you are no politician, but I have worked with enough that such condolences have no effect on me." He replied in the same tone he had started in with.

"I would think the best place to begin is at the beginning of the story, or what you can tell me at least. Making sure to inform me of anything you may already know about my suits, and then I can fill in blanks on a need-to-know basis."

"Donny, you get to tell the story," Camille said to Major Crime, who lit a new cigar.

"No problem-o. Well, let's see. It was Steel Mill who asked for the documents, Lithium's boy in case you've heard of that bad guy. Now, he first just wanted a general assortment of documents from the Pentagon, then once we gave them to him he asked for the ones for your suit. So we get Leland and Requiem to go in and get them. Myself and Requiem went over the data before sending it to Steel Mill. Of course a little after that he wound up dead. Along with that there have been suspicious other things that people have asked for recently...electric mind control stuff (just data on the theory of it, but still), new and destructive ammo that hasn't been put to use yet because it's too dangerous. Things like that," Major Crime explained.

"So obviously someone is collecting all they would need to make an army, and take on my suit as well as the armies of the world. You should be prepared for modifications to the design based on the person. I can tell you the expertise required to make one of these suits. This person needs to have extensive backgrounds in multiple areas of science and engineering just to be able to understand the blueprints. You should focus in on your scientists if you have not done so already. Though I should ask what you know about my suits, or the prototypes at least, so that I may fill you in on the blank areas." Richard replied.

Tommy's first thought was, Wow you must have a big attic. So if you didn't collect all this stuff who did? Tommy took a look at the books on the wall, he picked one out, An Investigation on The Uses of Human Blood . Hey can I borrow this, my brother Garret would love it.

"We know what it'll be made out of, the different 'specialized' types there are, what weapons they can use, what the program will be like, things of that sort. Basically whatever was on the data we know," Major Crime replied.

---

"Not sure honestly who did. My mom said she didn't know anything about it, so it wasn't her. She did get me a few things from her merc years and a couple of things she's gotten from being the leader of the Union. There is a lot of stuff, might have either been just a collector or some old magic user who got a lot through the years," Leland explained.

He nodded at Tommy, "Yeah, you can borrow some stuff. Just bring it back sooner or later, rather not ruin the collection."

"Alright, the data I handed over is obsolete compared to my current suit. Most likely you will be dealing with something along my type, it was always the most versatile of the three types in the blueprints. It won't have energy weapons, as they drain too much power in the older designs. So be ready for lots of bullets and explosions. The basic thing about the suits is that it still abides by the laws of science. Put a big enough force on a small enough area and it will split like tin foil." Richard began, he would see if they had any questions before continuing.

After a long, intense scrub, Jason stepped out of the shower, feeling refreshed.

"Ahh, it feels good to be clean." He said as he dried himself off.

His face straightened as he faced the mirror, remembering that he still hadn't activated his armor. He walked out of the bathroom, tossing Leland's clothes to the side, and throwing off the towel as he sat on the bed. He crossed his legs, and took a deep breath as he began to
meditate.

"Hey Erebus, you there?" Jason thought.

"Yeah kid. What's up?"

"Feeling any better after the virus? I need you right about now."

"Alright kid, hold still."

Suddenly black tendrils sprung from chest and quickly spread in different directions, going up his arms and down his legs, not halting until he was completely covered. As they traveled up his neck, his eyes blinked open momuntarily, blinking black and blue until the blackness overcame his face. Lastly, the claws of his hands, as well as the blue blades along his wrist and forearm grew in before a blue, x-like shape appeared on his face and stretched past, each appearing as spikes long his head. The small horizontal zig-zag shape appeared on his face as well. He stood, flexing the armor. The armor along his face unraveled and fell.

"Thanks Ero. Looking good" He said with a smile.

"Yeah, I know. Just remember what I said, okay?"

Jason nodded before looking up from the armor.

"Hey Katie, are you ready?" He asked.

"That's just grand. Well, we at the Union have a multitude of supers. Fuckton of them really. Wide range of powers, and specialized fields. Can't really narrow it done, but we've got a bit of everything to say the least," Major Crime said.

"I have some questions: What is their tolerance for heat and cold? What needs to be broken to incapacitate them? Any weak points? Can they be hacked? Basically tell us all you can," Camille cut in.

Tommy was glad to hear it, his brother would be thrilled to read this book. He set it aside on the table an began looking around more. So this collection... who ever started it must have either started really early or had a lot of resources, most of these books are first editions. He thought to Leland as he marveled over one book before replacing it.

"In order, they can withstand a flamethrower and sub arctic cold without issue, break the chest and you'll cut off power and processing, the joints are natural weak points, and they can be hacked, but you need an extremely powerful computer to do so considering encryption. The pilot in control is still susceptible to mind tricks and illusions, and that version of the suit is affected by EMP. Energy weapons will at least damage them, if they do take some time to destroy them. Melee weapons and all firearms are ineffective against the armor. Those are the main points I can think of at the moment." Richard replied.

"I know. Wish I knew who had it all. There's a ton of notes scribbled into most of the pages, things to help out with. I'll find out one day who owned all these before me," Leland replied, sitting back in his chair and almost falling over.

"All the stuff I know comes from here. Some things are probably a little out of date, but I have no current stuff."

----

Camille nodded, sighing as she turned her chair to face the window. "I think that'll be all Richard. Though I would like to ask if, should the worst case scenario happen, that you will not mind working together to get rid of a common foe?"
