"Umm...H-hi Mrs. Southe. It's a pleasure to meet you." Jason said nervously, awkwardly holding out his trembling hand.

"What's your deal kid? You were just fine a few seconds ago." Erebus asked, confused.

"I dunno man, I'm just scared I won't leave a good impression on Katie's parents!" Jason answered, freaking out a bit in his mind.

"So, just act like how you would usually act, but don't say anything that you think would offend them. It's that simple!"

"Alright. I'll try..." He thought, turning his attention back to Katie's mother.

"Ummmm, nice house you have here." He said with a small smile.

Alister flanked Richard as he entered the room. This whole thing was a bit too much for him--odd, he noticed, considering the supernatural occurrences he dealt with on a regular basis. However, he felt he needed to see the situation through, if only for closure.

Still, he thought to himself. it's a shame nobody started a fight. I haven't gotten any practice in in days.

Seeing Richard enter the room, Simon leapt up and grabbed him, pulling him close. His eyes flickered with fear, confusion and desperation

"What the hell is going on with me? I missed two days of my life teleporting from the living room to the bloody kitchen!"

Richard was startled by Simon's action and responded as quickly as possible.

"I don't know, your whole power is a question mark. I mean, you could be creating a localized field of gravity, bending space, deconstructing yourself at an atomic level, there are many possibilities for what your power does. There are just as many for why you traveled through time, ranging from passing through the fourth dimension (time) as well as the first three to localized electrical surges in the atmosphere keeping you in a type of limbo. To explain the second one, if static in the air keeps you from the initial teleport, then it would make sense that static electricity at the destination would keep you from appearing."

Lucille laughed as she shook Jason's hand. "Nervous, eh? That could only mean one thing..." She turned to Katie, an expression of slight disbelief on her face. "You two are dating?! My little girl's all grown up!"

Katie blushed a furious red, but said, "Yes, Jason and I have been going out for a while now. We went on a date a few days after we joined the Society, in fact. Since then it's just snowballed into a full-blown relationship." She gave her boyfriend a quick smile, picked up her suitcase and continued speaking. "We'll be crashing here for at least a few days, maybe a week or so. Is this alright with you and Dad?"

"Oh, it's no problem," her mother answered as she stepped back through the doorway. "Will you go back to the gardens, or do you want to share your old room from before you gained your... unique abilities?"

"I'll build an extension for Jason off of my room in the back garden, and we'll both sleep out back," Katie said with a smile, following Lucille inside.

Slumped against the side of the wall Tommy looked out through a small barred window, as he had been doing for hours now. He sighed, as he watched the sun set, adding the fact he would be spending the night here to why his situation was hopeless. After they arrived on plane the agents took him to the Archmage's tower, where he would await in a basement cell until his trial. The guards had told him that he would not be alowed to contact the other Society members, infact by the time they became aware of what was going on, it would probably be too late. Finally there was the trial, he wasn't sure why the Archmage's thought he killed Perrault, but he knew if they found him guilty it would mean a quick execution. He sighed again, and rolled his head over to look at his guards, two men, both agents of the council, one had a shotgun presumabely loaded with mage-lightening, the other had a scroll, presumebly the one they used to capture him to begin with, both looked off into the distance, monologuing inside their heads. Christ what's with these agent's and having interior monologues? Tommy thought to himself. Heh, if Leland was hear he could tell me what they were thinking. The thought gave him some comfort, as well as the desire to palm himself in the face, LELAND! of course! I don't need anything to contact him I can just... right how do I call a telepath, can he even read my thoughts from this far away, maybe I can reach him if I try.

Tommy shifted to the center of his cell, he folded his legs, and placed his hands on his knee's in a lotus stance. The guards stirred from their introversion the one with the shotgun brought it up to bear, "What's he doing? Should I fry him?" He asked the other, who was clearly his senior.

"Relax, he's probably just meditating, and the profile say's he isn't a Qi Wizard, so I don't think we need to worry about it." Replied his partner who began to relax again, "The only thing that's interesting about him is that's he's a Demigod Class human, and with that blocking plate strapped to his chest he isn't even that, so sit back, relax, and think of some one liners."

Tommy didn't hear a word of the conversation his mind already sealed from the outside world in his meditation. He thought back to the lesson's his father had taught him, various lessons, concerning life, philosphy, magic, and everything else he needed to know. As a child Tommy often ignored the wisdom his father taught him, now he hoped he could still remember something that could help him, "everything we touch leaves and connection back to ourselves," his father's voice echoed in his mind a connection trancending magic and physics alike, if you focus you may catch a glimmer of those connections, they show where we have been, and perhaps where we may go." Tommy didn't understand the usefullness of that teaching until now, he knew if he could find the connection back to Leland he could call him. He took a breath and then began to feel about the space in his mind, feeling for disturbances, until he found one bearing Leland's aura. He could feel a slender string stretching across great distances, from Leland's mind to his. Now with his thoughts he focused on this string and began to speak through it.

LELAND! CAN YOU HEAR ME!
If you can I need you to come to New Eldorado, I've been captured, I can explain more when you get here.

Requiem was sitting comfortably on the couch in the living room, watching an episode of Wakfu with Leland. He was enjoying the show very much, Camille had recommended it to him, and was so caught up in the show that he barely noticed that Leland had almost choked on his chicken noodle soup.

"Ethan, lower the volume," Leland said through coughs, putting the bowl down as he continued to cough. Once he stopped he focused on where Tommy's thoughts had come from. When he knew he was connected he thought back, 'That was quite sudden. Um, how do I get over there? Did something really bad happen? I need more information man!'

You member the Archmage's right? Well one of them, Archmage Perrault, was murdered recently, they think I did it, but that's impossible because I was at your lodge when it happened. They captured me and are going to put me on trial, if they think I'm guilty I'll be executed. I don't think anyone else in the Society knows what's happened. I don't know how you can get here, but my father will. Teleport to Nova City, go to 621 Marigold Way, that's my house, find him tell him what's going on he'll know what to do.

'Holy hell, really? You'd think even someone like me would have heard about that,' Leland thought as he climbed up the stairs and went into his room.

'I'll be sure to head over there as quickly as possible. Anything I should know about your house or your father? Anything you want me to tell him?' Leland asked, opening up his closet and thought about what to wear. He knew he was going to a warm climate, but didn't think he'd want to go over there wearing shorts and a polo. After some debating he decided to go with a more presentable look: a satin dark brown shirt with an dark blue argyle vest over it (blue/green/white/maroon diamonds), a dark grey jacket over that, and dark blue jeans.

I don't know something along the lines of, your son's been framed for murder, he's being held prisoner, and he's going to be executed in a few hours. Oh and I'm sorry for not writing more. Tommy relaxed from the lotus pose, and resumed leaning against the wall like he had been earlier.

'I'll be sure to him know that,' Leland thought back, pulling his hair back and putting on a blue flat cap on. He looked in the mirror to make sure everything went well together, contemplating shaving the beard before deciding it was a good look on him. 'Alright, I'm just checking to make sure my cast is on correctly then I'll be going. Stay strong Tommy, and don't drop the magical soap,' Leland thought, chuckling to himself as he severed the connection to Tommy and teleported to 621 Marigold Way.

He could tell that there were a number of charms and spells put around the place as soon as he appeared, but they were of no hindrance to him. "Would cause the average joe a problem," he said with a laugh, walking up to the front door and knocking a few times.

Tommy's father, Dustin opened the door, his seven foot frame just barely coming short of the door frame.

"Hello? Who are you? Better be important the World cup is on." He asked, clearly irritated, before leaning back to look at the television in the next room, "SHOOT THE BALL YOU BLOODY TWIT!" Then leaning back to look at Leland.

Leland muttered something about how dull soccer was before clearing his throat and speaking up. "Hello sir. I'm a friend of Tommy's. Speaking of which, the reason I'm here is because Tommy sent me a thought message from some sort of magical prison in some place called El Dorado! And so he wanted me to find you so that you would know to go help him because he's on trial for the murder of one of the Arc Mages," Leland explained with bravado in a way only he could do it.

"Any questions?"

"Hmm, right. Very well." Dustin leaned back inside the house, " Alina! I'm stepping out for a bit, see you later."

"Stay safe, and bring an umbrella it's going to rain in El Dorado." Came a response from inside the home. Dustin went back into the house and fetch an umbrella. When he returned he also had a hat and jacket on and left the building.

"Alright, we'll take my car to New El Dorado, follow me." Dustin lead Leland to his car, a 1972 Jaguar convertable, he got in the drivers seat and opened the passenger side door to let Leland in.

"I don't believe I caught your name, and how do you know Tommy exactly?"

"Oh it's Leland F. Claidt," Leland said as he took a seat in the convertible. "Umm, I'm technically something of an enemy to your son. But, we're pretty cool with each other. Hell I don't even consider myself an enemy to them anymore. I wouldn't fight them at all ever again unless I was...mind-controlled or something like that," he replied with a nervous laugh.

" Right Tommy's friend Garrus mentioned you."

Dustin started the car and began driving down the street.

"Actually some of my peers have been quite impressed by your progress, they say it's quite amazing for someone so young. Are you prepared? As soon as we hit the park I'm the car's going to warp, just thought you should know. Anways what else can you tell me, which Archmage was it?"

Going to sleep, see you tommorrow

"Really? People have said that? I'm surprised people even know me. I was only visited once by a few high-up sorcerers; guess word spreads pretty quickly," Leland replied, making sure he was prepared for the warp.

"Um, I believe Tommy said the mage was...Per-something. Perlotte? Oh, no it was Perrault! That's the name. Was he important?" Leland asked, curious about the going-ons of the magical world.

"Jesus, I don't know, that goes for both of you. I'm a scientist and an engineer, not an all knowing god like figure. Teleportation is theoretical physics at this point, meaning all I know is theory. The presence of these personalities isn't even my realm of science, it's psychology. The only reason I know anything at all about these personalities is because I took a basic psych course in college. I'm not a psychologist and how in the hell am I supposed to know if magic will help you? God damn, give me a little room to breath both of you."Richard shouted in something of a panic with Simon clutching him for dear life and both him and Dona bombarding him with questions.

"You'd think my whole purpose in life was to answer your questions." he groused as Simon released him.

"I don't know if there is a statute of limitations on arson, probably is and probably has passed if there is. Now, you should talk to him, he has obviously proven he isn't out to harm you, or he would have attacked at the theater." He sat down at the kitchen table to try and calm down a bit.
