Slumped against the side of the wall Tommy looked out through a small barred window, as he had been doing for hours now. He sighed, as he watched the sun set, adding the fact he would be spending the night here to why his situation was hopeless. After they arrived on plane the agents took him to the Archmage's tower, where he would await in a basement cell until his trial. The guards had told him that he would not be alowed to contact the other Society members, infact by the time they became aware of what was going on, it would probably be too late. Finally there was the trial, he wasn't sure why the Archmage's thought he killed Perrault, but he knew if they found him guilty it would mean a quick execution. He sighed again, and rolled his head over to look at his guards, two men, both agents of the council, one had a shotgun presumabely loaded with mage-lightening, the other had a scroll, presumebly the one they used to capture him to begin with, both looked off into the distance, monologuing inside their heads. Christ what's with these agent's and having interior monologues? Tommy thought to himself. Heh, if Leland was hear he could tell me what they were thinking. The thought gave him some comfort, as well as the desire to palm himself in the face, LELAND! of course! I don't need anything to contact him I can just... right how do I call a telepath, can he even read my thoughts from this far away, maybe I can reach him if I try.
Tommy shifted to the center of his cell, he folded his legs, and placed his hands on his knee's in a lotus stance. The guards stirred from their introversion the one with the shotgun brought it up to bear, "What's he doing? Should I fry him?" He asked the other, who was clearly his senior.
"Relax, he's probably just meditating, and the profile say's he isn't a Qi Wizard, so I don't think we need to worry about it." Replied his partner who began to relax again, "The only thing that's interesting about him is that's he's a Demigod Class human, and with that blocking plate strapped to his chest he isn't even that, so sit back, relax, and think of some one liners."
Tommy didn't hear a word of the conversation his mind already sealed from the outside world in his meditation. He thought back to the lesson's his father had taught him, various lessons, concerning life, philosphy, magic, and everything else he needed to know. As a child Tommy often ignored the wisdom his father taught him, now he hoped he could still remember something that could help him, "everything we touch leaves and connection back to ourselves," his father's voice echoed in his mind a connection trancending magic and physics alike, if you focus you may catch a glimmer of those connections, they show where we have been, and perhaps where we may go." Tommy didn't understand the usefullness of that teaching until now, he knew if he could find the connection back to Leland he could call him. He took a breath and then began to feel about the space in his mind, feeling for disturbances, until he found one bearing Leland's aura. He could feel a slender string stretching across great distances, from Leland's mind to his. Now with his thoughts he focused on this string and began to speak through it.
