The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

 How do you hide an army that big? Where do you get the pilots? The money, the supplies? Just because he's evaded the Union doesn't mean he'll get past us.  The fact is an Army like that has to be somewhere and he has to be getting supplies to build it, we need Richard to give us a list of the rarest parts of the suits.  Then we see whose buying those supplies. We have to try something, we atleast need to get this guy on the defensive before he does something truly terrible.

Richard looked the note Tommy wrote.

"We don't know who this guy is, and he isn't buying his materials through normal channels. If he uses black market dealers, he could get his hands on all the technology he needs with any trail stopping dead at the dealer. The pilots can be mercenaries, kidnapping victims, anyone he can control through one means or another really. He'll probably need to steal some of the rarer components from one of my factories, and I have heavily increased security since Leland's break in at my home. I've been monitoring the alarms of the sites closely since that incident. Hiding armies unfortunately though isn't that hard Tommy, even in this day and age. Underground still remains the most popular means, and is by far the hardest to detect. Oh, and I do have a question for you Tommy when you get a chance." he replied.

 Well if we can find the dealers we can make them talk. They might not know who is buying but they will know where the supplies are going.  You can't build and army out of nothing, and it can't be possible to get that many supplies without creating some kind of blip.

He handed the note to Richard.

Once they arrived at the gates, Katie jumped out with a quick, "Thanks," and headed inside. On her way in, she picked her usual flower to aid her in the upcoming fight. She took a deep breath before entering the building itself - she hadn't expected to be back so soon - and walked in. Noticing the gathering almost immediately, she hurried over, saying, "Hey, guys. What have I missed?"

"True, they do leave a blip, and a large one. It may even tell us who we are looking for, but it still doesn't tell us where they are. Usually purchases and transactions are made at third party areas before being transported to their final destination. There is also a problem with who he may be using, there are many dealers around the world, must of whom we don't even know about. It is still a step in the right direction though, and I'll see what I can do there on top of getting you that list." Richard said before Katie walked in and he turned to speak to her.

"Well I warned the leaders of the world about the coming attacks. Right now we're figuring out what to do about whoever it is that is going to make said attacks. So, what we still need to decide is..." Richard stopped as his phone went off, vibrating wildly in his pocket. The screen read that there was a break-in at one of his factories. He immediately cursed and put the phone back after writing down the address on the screen on one of Tommy's notes. He turned to the others.

"There is a break-in at one of the laboratories responsible for making targeting chips, the same one I specified in my blueprints. It seems our friend is making a move, we all need to get down there now. You guys get going and I'll join you as soon as I have my suit on." With that he immediately ran up the stairs after handing Garrus the note with the address.

Wait Richard. Tommy ran after Richard and caught him as he was going up the stairs. He tapped his ear, where his communicator would go, Richard still hadn't gotten him a replacement. And Tommy needed to be albe to communicate with everyone during a fight.

"Everyone. We're heading to 6982 W. Vaughan Street over in Central! Thank goodness that's close by. Let's go everyone!" Garrus told everyone as he went to the parking area. He went onto his motorcycle and sped off. He turned on his communicator and asked Richard, "How are we going to do this? I don't think you want us messing up one of your labs..."

"Oh, right, I got one for you but you were gone before I could give it to you." Richard said before reaching in his pocket and handing Tommy his new communicator before continuing back to his room.

"Top priority is making sure you get someone, there is nothing in there that cannot be replaced. So just take them down and capture them and I'll take care of any damages." Richard replied into his comm.

"Right, I'll follow you, Garrus," Katie answered, fitting her comm in her ear and flicking it on as she hurried after him to the garage. Sure enough, her own motorbike was still there. She quickly started it up and sped off after Garrus, listening to the quick exchange as she did so. If capturing someone was the chief objective, she could easily prevent attackers from escaping the area, she figured.

Tommy nodded thanks and began slipped into his ear before running to his room and grabbing a smoke bomb. He cracked it open with one hand and released the ploom of smoke, instantly changing him into his costume. He ran downstairs and got into a his car, following right behind Garrus.

Jason got as far as the door before he heard Garrus yell out an address and saw him dash past him, with serveral others following.

"Looks like the insurgency's about to begin!" Jason said excitedly before undressing and throwing his clothes into the entrance. He made his way over to the garage, hopped on his bike, and quickly left, following behind those who were leading the way.

Garrus arrived at the laboratory in half the time most people would; having taken short-cuts down alleys that only who had lived there a long time would know. He parked a little ways away from the lab and walked the rest of the way, going to the back and checking out the area. There were a number of black vans advertising a clean-up crew, and Garrus was quick to memorize a few of the plates. Once he was sure there were no guards in the immediate area he went to one of the back doors, putting his finger to the lock and sending a shockwave to break it.

"I'm in guys. Entering from the back. Number of vans here, seen nobody yet though," he said into the comm, going up some stairs and onto the scaffolding that would allow him to overlook the lab.

Tommy arrived soon after Garrus, he stayed in his car as he made a lap around the facility, he adjusted his communicator before moving his lips, letting the communicator read the movements and turn them into sounds, " I'm at the factory, making a going around it, I see the vans, I'm going to check them out." He parked his car and got out, walking to the vans and checking inside of them from the windows.

Katie tried following Garrus through the alleyways, but quickly lost her bearings and headed back the way she came. She opted for the more direct route, weaving between cars and the like, until she spotted the a building that looked like the objective in the distance, with black vans parked near the entrance. Katie smiled to herself. The disguise was pretty good, but she knew the real purpose behind the transports.

She pulled up a fair distance away from the front door of the lab, and immediately ducked into a back alley to ensure she wasn't seen. There, she began to grow the flower she'd brought into armour, which took a few minutes longer than usual, as she caused some parts to be thicker than others.

Garrus peaked through a door on the upper level, seeing a mercenary slowly turning around and surveying the area. He closed the door and waited for the guard to open it, quickly disarming him with a few quick punches. Another punch sent him to the ground, and Garrus stashed the merc into a janitor's closest. He locked the door, saying into the comm, "Got one of the guys locked up in a closet. Won't be up anytime soon. Where are the rest of you?"

"I'm just outside," Katie answered. "I'm taking extra precautions; I want to be sure I don't make friends with any bullets when they hit me." After a couple minutes more, she finished thickening her armour and attempted a stealthy approach to the front door. "Right, I'm going in through the main entrance," she said over the comm, then pushed the door open and stepped inside, prepared for any eventuality.

"I'm checking out the vans, there isn't anything in them, no weapons, but also no cleaning supplies, I think these are there vehicles, hold on." Tommy got down on the ground and looked under the car, when he saw the front axle he grabed it and bent it at an odd angle, he repeated the step with all the vans.

"Alright, either I've disabled their get-a-way cars, or Richard is going to have some very angry cleaners, I'll be inside in a minute." He walked away and turned back to admire his handy work, from the side you couldn't tell that the cars had a fatal flaw in their workings. He walked around the parimeter of the building until he found the door Garrus had broken open, and walked inside.

"Alright I'm in."

"Sounds good. I found out where they all are. I'm on the second level, but they are currently collecting boxes in the lab below. I'm keeping out of sight for now until Rich gets here, just going to watch. About twenty mercs in here all together, half guarding half collecting," Garrus informed everyone, sticking to the shadows as he watched the proceedings below.

Katie had met no-one on her way in, and began to proceed directly to the lab area. "Right, I'll see if I can't get in and wait to ambush them," she said quietly as she made her way through the halls. She tried pushing open a door, but it creaked loudly, so she fell back in case anyone came to investigate. If a guard stepped out in the open, she had the opportunity of ambushing them. Silence would be the key to success, so she would aim for the head with vines to gag her target and thus prevent him or her from shouting for help.
