Alister slowly came out of a deep sleep. He'd dozed off on the ride over without anyone noticing. Katie asked him where his sword was, and if he could sense it. "No," he responded. "as much as I'd like that the sword works for anybody. I just happen to be the one that's kept it out of other people's hands. I might be able to remember where I dropped it though."
He scanned the ruins, trying to remember what happened as they left. He wearily pointed a hand at the top of a pile of rubble leading from one of the buildings. "That's where I collapsed." He said. "My sword should still be around there."
