The fight between Jason and his older brother continued, Jason sloppily blocked his brother's attacks, but he was still pretty light on his feet. Even though in a quick window of time, Takashi drove a fast boot to Jason's wound, sending him to the ground. He winced loudly as he repositioned himself to all fours, weakly crawling towards his brother. Takashi laughed as if he's heard a funny joke.
"What are gonna do now?! Snivel?! Beg?! Beg for the mercy you're not gonna get?! This his hilarious!" Takashi yelled, holding his sides in laughter as Jason weakly reached his brother's shoe. Then, in a bout of strength, he sprung to his feet, wrapping his arms around Takashi. His laughter quickly stopped.
"Give me a hug." Jason said quietly before his signature black spines sprouted from all parts of his body, and straight through his brother. Takashi's eyes widened in surprise and shock.
"H...how? I...I don't..." Takashi asked as Jason let him go, leaving him to slump to the ground. Jason looked on, falling to a knee, clutching his still seeping wound. A low, weak chuckle came from Jason.
"Did you forget? I'm the prodigal son. And you know what, big bro? I'm still learning. I'm sure your armor would be fully developed once I actually meet you. Then, i'll be ready." Jason said as Takashi's body withered into ash and blew away.
"He was only a illusion?" Erebus asked as Jason propped himself against a wall.
"Y-yeah. You didn't know that?" Jason replied in between breaths as his mask unraveled. He patched into his comm yet again.
"Hello? Anybody?" He asked, looking around.
"Nothing. I guess the comms don't work now. Well, they shouldn't be too far." Jason uttered as he rose to his feet, a long, blunt spike sprouting from him. Using it as a crutch, he began to slowly continue down the hallway.
